Route 2 Apartments

"Kate and Joe at Route 2 Cafe and Apartments saved us when we were evacuated from our home in Exmouth for 2 nights this week (following the WW2 Bomb drama). They had one room available (Haldon) and were so accommodating with the last minute request. The room was absolutely spotless and so beautiful - it really did make what could have been a stressful situation, much calmer! Myself and my husband couldn't be more grateful, not to mention the fact I'm 7 months pregnant, baby bump appreciated a warm, comfortable night sleep. We spent 2 nights here and both had lovely breakfasts on Thursday and Friday before heading off to work. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!"

Carla, a sympathetic, efficient and helpful receptionist found us a room at another travelodge for an extra £40 charge. I was very grateful for her kind assistance as she really helped me out when I was very tired after a long drive. Carla is a wonderful ambassador for travelodge hotels."

"A lovely break with my best friend, and it was excellent from start to finish. Staff here are an asset for sure, very welcoming and we felt really looked after. Loved our room and the style of the whole place. Great location and so convenient for the centre. Our room was above the bar, but noise was minimal and not too late in any event. Classy, thoughtful and we loved it. Tasty breakfast too. Highly recommended!"
