I had a pleasant stay at this hotel over the weekend. The room was clean, cozy, and quiet, with comfortable bedding and modern facilities. The staff were polite and efficient, making check‑in and check‑out quick and easy. Its location was great, within walking distance of shops and attractions.
Otherwise, everything was satisfactory. It provided good value for money, and I would choose to stay here again and recommend it to others.

Cafe: 2 stars, choice r limited, no egg counter(only a stack of cold well cooked eggs on disk), 1 coffee machine but it was broken, foods are all cold, noodle counter can change my choice as his wishes( not mine), waiter r definitely not enough, only 2 or 3 to serve whole cafe… In conclusion, it is a never and never come back breakfast…
Front desk: no line for queue up, everyone can rush in even u r in middle of check in/out?!
Housekeeping: 3.5 stars, they put two body wash in my room, then I ask for shampoo, they said it was there inside bathroom, look like I m stupid cannot distinguish between shampoo n body wash?!
Overall, if u don’t eat breakfast here n want a big room n next to shopping mall. This is the one but not 4 me, I still got other choicessss.

I extended my stay from one night to 2 nights as the location of the hotel was excellent. Right in front of subway. Also 1-2 mins walking distance just behind the hotel was the MixC, take the lift & reached the B1 basement for shops & eateries. Besides MixC, Coastal City Mall was also connected with the over-bridge Shenzen bay walking street, full of restaurants, massage, shops. The hotel staff was friendly & efficient . They were kind & helpful. Room was cleaned & amenities were well replenished. Comfortable room. Free usage of laundry machine & clothes dryer, free detergent also with Steamer & iron with ironing board. You can make yourself a free ginger tea or coffee at the small lounge beside the laundry room on 32 floor. I had a wonderful stay. Thank you for the excellent service.

Had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. The service was excellent — staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. A big thanks to 文章 and 婷婷 who help us to check in at midnight, even we are having some booking issues but they patiently explained and helped us checkin smoothly. Thank you also to the team for the pre-decorated birthday room which make the stay even more memorable.
For the price, it was definitely worth the money. The breakfast was also surprisingly good with a nice variety of choices and fresh food every morning. Overall, a great experience and I would happily stay here again.

Very beautiful hotel just outside the subway station. 15 mins ride get you to Window of the World, also convenient to travel to Shekou and the Gentle Monster exhibitat Hi-Tech Park.
Very clean and huge rooms, noises can be heard from nearby construction and elevator shaft but does not bother us at all at night.
Would recommend more wall hooks and hangers as there is only 1 in the bathroom. Outlet can be closer to the vanity for hair drying. The breakfast is impressive with lots of options.
Pool closed for winter, rooftap patio is beautiful with 360 view of the city. Fitness room closed and not usable.
Laundry room very roomy and efficient.
We would book again in the future.

Room design is rather odd, no table or common area to share take away food or to hang out, had to sit on each other’s beds.
The sofas were very dusty and the staffs refused to vacuum it and suggested to just use the air purifier in the room…
The toilet design is very bad. There’s no hangar in the shower and you had to place your clothes and towels ontop of the toile bowl. There supplied face towel are too large to wash your face with. The drawer in the toilet needs to hold unnecessary items like slippers and face towels because the room lacks proper storage cabinets. The “luxury shower” is a joke, the water pressure/flow is way too small to utilise the top shower head properly and it felt like the water is dripping not showering.
The automatic sensors in the room would turn off the lights and ac if they sensed no one is in the room, idk if the sensors are visual sensors that infringes privacy. If you shower for too long, the lights in the shower would turn off too because the sensor is around the toilet bowl not the shower.
Location is great if your travel plans are around nanshsn qianhai area.

Great hotel! Wonderful stay and I was very well greeted by Susan upon arrival and I checked in quite late in the evening. The very next day I got upgraded to an even better room. Breakfast was great except that the lady at the noodle station tends to grumble at guests, not quite the kind of hospitality you want at 7.30am in the morning everyday. Other than that I love staying here as it is very close proximity to MiX C mall, the subway, plenty of food options and cafes across the street. Easy walk to the Shenzhen’s key attractions in Nanshan area

The location is overall great and feels local with good access to metro. The shared laundry machines were appreciated though the dryer is rather weak. What made my stay truly perfect was the excellent service from Kiki. She was so kind, thoughtful, and attentive to every detail. She greeted me warmly, helped me check in smoothly, and always responded quickly to my needs with a lovely smile.

There are hotels you visit, and then there are hotels that leave an imprint on your soul. The Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen, belongs firmly and unequivocally in the latter category. From the moment I stepped into its soaring lobby, I knew this would be one of those stays that redefines what luxury hospitality means.
Arrival and Reception
First impressions matter, and the reception team at the Mandarin Oriental understands this with an almost intuitive grace. Jason Zhu greeted me with the kind of warmth that felt less like a rehearsed welcome and more like being received by an old friend who just happens to have impeccable professional instincts. His attention to detail was extraordinary — he had noted my preferences before I could voice them, and the check-in process was so seamless it barely registered as a process at all. Sicily and Marsh were equally outstanding, always present at just the right moments with a smile, a helpful suggestion, or a thoughtful gesture. Together, the three of them set a tone of effortless elegance that carried through every hour of my stay. In a city as fast-paced and forward-looking as Shenzhen, there is something deeply reassuring about a reception team that makes you feel as though time has slowed down just for you.
The Club Skyline View Room
If the lobby whispered luxury, the Club Skyline View Room declared it in full voice. Perched high above the glittering sprawl of Shenzhen, the room offered a panorama that genuinely stopped me in my tracks. Floor-to-ceiling windows framed the city's dazzling skyline — a forest of illuminated towers stretching toward the horizon, the lights of Futian and beyond shimmering like an earthbound constellation. I found myself drawn to the window repeatedly, at golden hour, at twilight, and again in the deep hours of the night, each time discovering a different mood and a different kind of beauty.
The room itself was a masterclass in refined design. The palette was calm and sophisticated, with rich textures and thoughtful layering that felt contemporary yet timeless in the way the Mandarin Oriental has always done best. The bed was, simply put, superb — the kind of bed that makes you reconsider every mattress you have ever slept on and find them all wanting. Linens were crisp and impossibly soft. The bathroom was a sanctuary of marble and glass, generously appointed with the brand's signature amenities, and the soaking tub positioned near the window offered what might be one of the finest bathing experiences in southern China. Every detail, from the lighting controls to the turndown service to the quiet hum of climate perfection, spoke of a property that understands the difference between filling a room with expensive things and creating a genuine sense of place and comfort.
The Mandarin Club
Accessing the Mandarin Club elevated an already exceptional stay into something truly rarefied. The lounge itself is a beautifully curated space — serene, sophisticated, and blessed with those same sweeping skyline views that make this property so special. But what transforms the Club from a lovely room with good canapés into a genuinely memorable experience is its people.
Chelsea Zhou is a revelation and deserves a special mention. Her hospitality instincts are pitch-perfect; she anticipated needs I hadn't yet articulated, and managed to be attentive without ever being intrusive — a balance that even the finest hotels in the world struggle to achieve. Priscilla Pang was equally impressive, radiating a genuine kindness and professionalism that made every interaction a pleasure. Whether it was the afternoon tea service, or the evening menu and cocktails, Chelsea and Priscilla ensured that every moment in the Club felt personal, polished, and quietly luxurious. I returned to the lounge far more often than I had planned, not just for the excellent food and drink,

Their services stand at their stars level since I reached the hotel doorstep with Didi. The staff came to welcome us and helped to load our luggages and served us until we checked in. Our ******* also can deliver to our room door using their robot service.
The room quite nice and big enough for 2 people. The bathroom meet my expectations too.

Average cleanliness room since the desk is very dusty. Restroom or hotel is out of toilet paper, receptionist provided tissues instead. Was ok experience for short stay. I didn't have chance to take some pictures, but I think this hotel is ok. Hotel posted pictures are not same as real sight. Overall, average hotel for short trip.
