1. Location is convenient. Near many of the places we wanted to explore and visit in Shenzhen
2. Room was clean and spacious as well.
3. Nice and friendly staff
4. Love the room. Smart tech fitted, with a smart toilet and bidet
5. Like that the shower and toilet are segregated
6. Can do laundry and detergent is provided
7. There's a small exercise area with a walking pad, steps and dumbbells if you wanna work out
There's a porridge supper from 8pm-12am
There's a lot of food options nearby
Negatives:
1. Not a major problem but there's no drop off/pick up point for cars. Need to watch for traffic when crossing to get to the didi. But I realize it's quite common in China for mid range hotels.
2. Room soundproofing was ok, mostly quiet when we stayed. Day time can hear the car horns, but night time is nice and quiet, great for sleep

PPengguna TetamuMarriott memang tak pernah mengecewakan saya. Kemewahan warisan yang ada pada lokasi yang sudah lama ini sentiasa mengagumkan, dan pengalaman keseluruhan tetap memukau. Walaupun sudah beroperasi bertahun-tahun, ia kekal seperti baru, tanpa sebarang tanda usang. Perinciannya halus dan di samping itu ia mempunyai sejarah yang menarik, suasana mewah yang sederhana membuatkan seseorang ingin berehat dan tinggal lama di sini. Ruang hotel dihiasi dengan teliti, seolah-olah berada di koridor masa, dengan suasana yang sangat memukau. Selain itu, yang patut dipuji ialah layanan kakitangan yang mesra dan selesa, perkhidmatan sepanjang masa yang teliti dan penuh perhatian, menjadikan pengalaman ini sangat hebat.
Satu-satunya kekecewaan kecil ialah sedikit kekurangan dalam perincian pembersihan, beberapa sudut tidak cukup bersih, sedikit mencacatkan pengalaman. Namun, kualiti keseluruhannya sangat baik, kekurangannya tidak menjejaskan keindahan keseluruhannya. Ia tetap menjadi tempat berharga yang patut dikunjungi berulang kali, dan saya berharap agar perinciannya dapat diperbaiki lagi pada masa hadapan.

JJerman VMy stay at the Ritz-Carlton was polished and comfortable, with the level of quality and consistency you would expect from the brand. The property is beautiful, the rooms are well appointed, and the service is professional and efficient throughout. While everything was executed well, the experience felt more formal and less personal than what truly exceptional hospitality can be. Overall, it is a solid luxury stay that delivers reliability and refinement.

Quite centrally located and has a lot of facilities and restaurants. About 20 minutes away from the airport and the train station.
Reception is great and they help you keep your Taobaoparcels.
I like the unique details that go into making each room amazing - for instance, their kettle has specific temperatures you can boil to, their shampoo has one for the day and one for the night (and super nice smelling!), they have conditioner, their hair dryer is very fast etc!!! It shows the effort they have to make sure each guest is happy.
The only thing I don’t like is that the lift takes slightly longer as it seems to be shared with some office building

PPengguna TetamuGorgeous hotel! Staff are so lovely and friendly! Our room was upgraded and we had a gorgeous view, when I next visit Shenzhen I would like to stay again! The hotel is not too far away from the local train station which will take you directly into Shenzhen, there’s also a beach nearby with many food stalls. A great outlet park is just a walk away from the hotel. There’s also a robo food delivery which is so cool! Loved our stay, thankyou so much x.serendy resort!

YYang IvanFrom the very first moment, this hotel stole our hearts. Perched right on the seafront, the location is nothing short of magical. Waking up to the sound of waves, stepping onto the balcony to watch the sun rise over the water, and having the beach just steps away — it made every morning feel like a dream. For a family vacation, it simply doesn’t get better than this.
But what truly made this stay unforgettable wasn’t the breathtaking views or the luxurious rooms — it was the staff.
After checking out and heading home, we realized our son’s beloved teddy bear had been left behind in the room. Before we even had a chance to panic or call the hotel, they reached out to us first. A kind team member contacted us to let us know they had found it and — without us even asking — offered to send it directly to our home.
I cannot overstate how much that gesture meant to us. To a little child, a stuffed toy isn’t just a toy — it’s a best friend. The fact that the staff understood that, took the initiative, and handled everything with such warmth and care says everything about the culture of this place.
This is what separates a truly great hotel from the rest. Not just the marble lobbies or ocean views, but the people behind it all — the ones who notice the small things and go out of their way to make them right.
We will be back, without a doubt. And this time, we’ll double-check the room before leaving! 🧸

There are hotels you visit, and then there are hotels that leave an imprint on your soul. The Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen, belongs firmly and unequivocally in the latter category. From the moment I stepped into its soaring lobby, I knew this would be one of those stays that redefines what luxury hospitality means.
Arrival and Reception
First impressions matter, and the reception team at the Mandarin Oriental understands this with an almost intuitive grace. Jason Zhu greeted me with the kind of warmth that felt less like a rehearsed welcome and more like being received by an old friend who just happens to have impeccable professional instincts. His attention to detail was extraordinary — he had noted my preferences before I could voice them, and the check-in process was so seamless it barely registered as a process at all. Sicily and Marsh were equally outstanding, always present at just the right moments with a smile, a helpful suggestion, or a thoughtful gesture. Together, the three of them set a tone of effortless elegance that carried through every hour of my stay. In a city as fast-paced and forward-looking as Shenzhen, there is something deeply reassuring about a reception team that makes you feel as though time has slowed down just for you.
The Club Skyline View Room
If the lobby whispered luxury, the Club Skyline View Room declared it in full voice. Perched high above the glittering sprawl of Shenzhen, the room offered a panorama that genuinely stopped me in my tracks. Floor-to-ceiling windows framed the city's dazzling skyline — a forest of illuminated towers stretching toward the horizon, the lights of Futian and beyond shimmering like an earthbound constellation. I found myself drawn to the window repeatedly, at golden hour, at twilight, and again in the deep hours of the night, each time discovering a different mood and a different kind of beauty.
The room itself was a masterclass in refined design. The palette was calm and sophisticated, with rich textures and thoughtful layering that felt contemporary yet timeless in the way the Mandarin Oriental has always done best. The bed was, simply put, superb — the kind of bed that makes you reconsider every mattress you have ever slept on and find them all wanting. Linens were crisp and impossibly soft. The bathroom was a sanctuary of marble and glass, generously appointed with the brand's signature amenities, and the soaking tub positioned near the window offered what might be one of the finest bathing experiences in southern China. Every detail, from the lighting controls to the turndown service to the quiet hum of climate perfection, spoke of a property that understands the difference between filling a room with expensive things and creating a genuine sense of place and comfort.
The Mandarin Club
Accessing the Mandarin Club elevated an already exceptional stay into something truly rarefied. The lounge itself is a beautifully curated space — serene, sophisticated, and blessed with those same sweeping skyline views that make this property so special. But what transforms the Club from a lovely room with good canapés into a genuinely memorable experience is its people.
Chelsea Zhou is a revelation and deserves a special mention. Her hospitality instincts are pitch-perfect; she anticipated needs I hadn't yet articulated, and managed to be attentive without ever being intrusive — a balance that even the finest hotels in the world struggle to achieve. Priscilla Pang was equally impressive, radiating a genuine kindness and professionalism that made every interaction a pleasure. Whether it was the afternoon tea service, or the evening menu and cocktails, Chelsea and Priscilla ensured that every moment in the Club felt personal, polished, and quietly luxurious. I returned to the lounge far more often than I had planned, not just for the excellent food and drink,

GGreggTheTravelerWe didn’t expect that it would be one of the most unforgettable experience with the hotel 😍 I want to mention the workers, who helped us with everything: Scott, Lacey, Daniel. Our view from the room was breathtaking, the bed was large, even we could get lost there 😜. All necessities were included, such as: toothbrushes, hair comb, hairdryer and towels.
BREAKFAST!!! I have never met such great breakfasts in my life. There were even sushi and ice cream. We were full and happy to eat this delicious meal.One more time, thank everyone who participated in our visiting.

Average cleanliness room since the desk is very dusty. Restroom or hotel is out of toilet paper, receptionist provided tissues instead. Was ok experience for short stay. I didn't have chance to take some pictures, but I think this hotel is ok. Hotel posted pictures are not same as real sight. Overall, average hotel for short trip.
