What I like: 1. Location is convenient. Near many of the places we wanted to explore and visit in Shenzhen 2. Room was clean and spacious as well. 3. Nice and friendly staff 4. Love the room. Smart tech fitted, with a smart toilet and bidet 5. Like that the shower and toilet are segregated 6. Can do laundry and detergent is provided 7. There's a small exercise area with a walking pad, steps and dumbbells if you wanna work out There's a porridge supper from 8pm-12am There's a lot of food options nearby Negatives: 1. Not a major problem but there's no drop off/pick up point for cars. Need to watch for traffic when crossing to get to the didi. But I realize it's quite common in China for mid range hotels. 2. Room soundproofing was ok, mostly quiet when we stayed. Day time can hear the car horns, but night time is nice and quiet, great for sleep

Berseronok dengan Ritz Carlton di Shenzhen. Meja penyambut tetamu menaik taraf kami dan sangat sopan dan penyayang. Secara keseluruhan semua perkhidmatan adalah sangat baik. The bathroom is hot and stuffy because there isn't ventilation. The room upstairs is cramped with no window. The room downstairs is better. They have a fridge and provide bottled drinking water. Also I'd great they have a washing machine Buy there isn't a kitchen for cooking. Though you can use the space available.

I had amazing three nights stay in pagoda ssaw hotel. Breakfast has many varieties. Staff were very attentive. A woman who work in the restaurant were very nice. Too bad I didn’t ask for her name. Front desk named nick also very good in service.

We are rarely this impressed with hotels during our stays, but this one exceeded expectations. Not only is it close to the metro/trains and the beach but also to the Outlet stores and many restaurants. The space isclean and welcoming and the hallways and main area are lovely and smell amazing. They upgraded us to one of the best rooms without additional charges and let us check in early! The breakfast is excellent and the amenities lovely. We loved that we were able to wash our laundry before departure, so convenient. And they stored our bags while we did some last minute shopping. Highly recommend 10/10.

From the moment I stepped into its soaring lobby, I knew this would be one of those stays that redefines what luxury hospitality means. Arrival and Reception First impressions matter, and the reception team at the Mandarin Oriental understands this with an almost intuitive grace. Jason Zhu greeted me with the kind of warmth that felt less like a rehearsed welcome and more like being received by an old friend who just happens to have impeccable professional instincts. His attention to detail was extraordinary — he had noted my preferences before I could voice them, and the check-in process was so seamless it barely registered as a process at all. Sicily and Marsh were equally outstanding, always present at just the right moments with a smile, a helpful suggestion, or a thoughtful gesture. Together, the three of them set a tone of effortless elegance that carried through every hour of my stay. In a city as fast-paced and forward-looking as Shenzhen, there is something deeply reassuring about a reception team that makes you feel as though time has slowed down just for you. Perched high above the glittering sprawl of Shenzhen, the room offered a panorama that genuinely stopped me in my tracks. Floor-to-ceiling windows framed the city's dazzling skyline — a forest of illuminated towers stretching toward the horizon, the lights of Futian and beyond shimmering like an earthbound constellation. I found myself drawn to the window repeatedly, at golden hour, at twilight, and again in the deep hours of the night, each time discovering a different mood and a different kind of beauty. The room itself was a masterclass in refined design. The palette was calm and sophisticated, with rich textures and thoughtful layering that felt contemporary yet timeless in the way the Mandarin Oriental has always done best. The bed was, simply put, superb — the kind of bed that makes you reconsider every mattress you have ever slept on and find them all wanting. Linens were crisp and impossibly soft. The bathroom was a sanctuary of marble and glass, generously appointed with the brand's signature amenities, and the soaking tub positioned near the window offered what might be one of the finest bathing experiences in southern China. Every detail, from the lighting controls to the turndown service to the quiet hum of climate perfection, spoke of a property that understands the difference between filling a room with expensive things and creating a genuine sense of place and comfort. The Mandarin Club Accessing the Mandarin Club elevated an already exceptional stay into something truly rarefied. The lounge itself is a beautifully curated space — serene, sophisticated, and blessed with those same sweeping skyline views that make this property so special. But what transforms the Club from a lovely room with good canapés into a genuinely memorable experience is its people. Chelsea Zhou is a revelation and deserves a special mention. Her hospitality instincts are pitch-perfect; she anticipated needs I hadn't yet articulated, and managed to be attentive without ever being intrusive — a balance that even the finest hotels in the world struggle to achieve. Priscilla Pang was equally impressive, radiating a genuine kindness and professionalism that made every interaction a pleasure. Whether it was the afternoon tea service, or the evening menu and cocktails, Chelsea and Priscilla ensured that every moment in the Club felt personal, polished, and quietly luxurious. I returned to the lounge far more often than I had planned, not just for the excellent food and drink,

Marriott memang tak pernah mengecewakan saya. Kemewahan warisan yang ada pada lokasi yang sudah lama ini sentiasa mengagumkan, dan pengalaman keseluruhan tetap memukau. Walaupun sudah beroperasi bertahun-tahun, ia kekal seperti baru, tanpa sebarang tanda usang. Perinciannya halus dan di samping itu ia mempunyai sejarah yang menarik, suasana mewah yang sederhana membuatkan seseorang ingin berehat dan tinggal lama di sini. Ruang hotel dihiasi dengan teliti, seolah-olah berada di koridor masa, dengan suasana yang sangat memukau. Selain itu, yang patut dipuji ialah layanan kakitangan yang mesra dan selesa, perkhidmatan sepanjang masa yang teliti dan penuh perhatian, menjadikan pengalaman ini sangat hebat. Satu-satunya kekecewaan kecil ialah sedikit kekurangan dalam perincian pembersihan, beberapa sudut tidak cukup bersih, sedikit mencacatkan pengalaman. Namun, kualiti keseluruhannya sangat baik, kekurangannya tidak menjejaskan keindahan keseluruhannya. Ia tetap menjadi tempat berharga yang patut dikunjungi berulang kali, dan saya berharap agar perinciannya dapat diperbaiki lagi pada masa hadapan.

We arrived and our room wasn't ready but the reception staff were very kind to extend us a late check-out instead. Not only that when we came back after a long day of shopping and dining, Wendy shared her wechat and was most helpful in guiding us as we explored the city and needed reservations at restaurants. When we checked out, they also offered us drinks to-go as we were driving to HK. Highly recommend Crown Plaza at Futian for its stellar service and proximity to malls such as Coco Park and PA by MixC.

For me as an older foreign backpacker the check in on line was a bit difficult (because I had never dun that before). But luckily the Chinese guests were very helpful . For the rest i was happy with the atmosphere and facilities.
