"We were most disappointed that we could not fulfil our booking with Vibe due to the Middle East conflict and also due to our Travel Company cancelling our trip through no choice of our own. The decision was taken out of our hands by the World Travel Safety Restrictions. We tried on many occasions to explain this to Vibe but they showed no concern what so ever in our predicament to refund our booking costs. We did ask for a credit as we fully intend to do this trip when travel restrictions are lifted , again refused!  We understand that the booking was made with no refund option but  we had no intention of cancelling our booking and we’re only informed by our Tour Company 3 days before travel. it had been at all possible to fulfil our booking we would have certainly have done so as we were so looking forward to visiting family. As I have said, the cancelling was not of our decision but due to our flights etc being cancelled by the tour company as being UNSAFE TO TRAVEL.  All our other hotels etc rn route showed total understanding in our predicament which was caused through no fault of our own and we were fully refunded by them. Very poor treatment from Vibe showing no concern for the safety of travellers finding themselves in such a situation through no fault of their own."

"Overall a great stay. Rooms weren’t serviced every single day which wasn’t too much of an issue since we were there over the Christmas period. But seeing as there were 3 of us staying, they only gave 2 towels every time - again not too much of an issue as we just asked reception! The room itself was clean and tidy, spacious! 3 of us fit on the bed (13yo, 9yo & myself), in our 1 bedroom ☺️ which was great since our room sofa wasn’t too comfortable to sleep on. Has everything you need - dishwasher, washing machine & dryer etc. Great location, close to mall, shops, train & dialysis centre (all walking distance) Would definitely stay there again 100%. Thank you Quest, Midland!"

"The room is spacious. The decor doesn't quite feel like a Ritz, but it definitely has an Edition vibe, which I actually quite like with its natural wood style. The location is excellent, with many restaurants nearby and even a delicious ice cream shop right outside. The Chinese staff are all very enthusiastic, especially a young Chinese waitress at the bar who was very pleasant and knowledgeable about wine. The only minor letdown was the hotel's '***** new year' decoration, which clearly wasn't for Chinese New Year. I've been to many small towns on this trip, and even a small restaurant in Kalbarri had 'CNY' written up! It made me wonder if Korean management has taken over the hotel."

"The first night's room had at least four lights out, the bathroom ventilation was old and had a strong odor, but they still let guests check in. I only discovered this when I returned to the hotel to rest that night. Even late at night, staff came up to check. The next day, after several discussions at the front desk, I requested a room change, which thankfully was possible. The staff remained friendly throughout. The second night's room was larger and everything was fine. If it weren't for the terrible first night, I might have given it a higher rating."
