This is a very fun trendy little hotel if you want to stay in a hutong. Downside is that you'll be doing some walking in and out each day and taxis are hesitant to stop on the nearby street. There's a subway relatively nearby which is a plus, and the laundry room is also convenient. The cats are a great distraction for kids to play with. The breakfast was ok, nothing to write home about, but solidly good. Heated floors are good until the room is hot enough you need to crack a window to moderate it. The beds and pillows are absolutely a dream to sleep on. With the outdoor patio, this would be an ideal summer spot to stay. A small map of various shops in the nearby hutong would be convenient.

服務熱情周到：前台接待服務熱情且細緻耐心的囑咐注意事項，本來是兩份早餐還贈送了一份。總之這次居住我們都感到非常舒適

My fiance and I just left and we LOVED it! The room was clean and the staff was VERYYY nice!! The workers made sure we were comfortable and recommended we sit and chill in the building with the pond with Coy fish during down time. They served us complimentary tea as well as we sat. It was a very nice atmosphere in there. Down the walkway is a restaurant that serves DELICIOUS food! I wish we had of tried them before our last day in Beijing because we would’ve been there everyday. If you stay and see a mid-aged lady asking you to try her restaurant, do it..you won’t regret it and she’s really nice as well! Again, the staff and room was fantastic!

在環球影城的旁邊，早上也有兩次班車，我們偷懶睡了懶覺，自己打車去的環球，打車大約十分鐘左右就到環球影城了，很方便。民宿環境很好，是我們喜歡的風格。房間乾淨，兩張床的設計也滿足了我們兩大一小，兩家人的需求。我們飛機到的比較晚，居然還能點到吃的，非常驚喜！下次去環球，還住這裏。

Was a nice experience staying in a siheyuan. The location was great and just a 3 min walk to a bustling food/shopping street.
Breakfast was good with western and Chinese options. Chinese breakfast was yummy with dumplings and noodles! The outdoor dining was nice and beautiful.
Service was good as well. Small touches like daily fruits and desserts was nice. The cats were cute and made the kids happy. The bathtub was huge and the kids enjoyed their daily bath in it.
The AI in the room made it convenient to control the lights and aircon.
Overall it was a great and comfortable stay. A small boutique hotel that has little people and privacy.

Excellent service and warm hospitality. Staff are highly accommodative as long as it is within their means. Morning breakfast delivery upon request to suit your morning skiing schedule. Walking distance from Nanshan ski resort and can enjoy ski gears rental discounts from the rental shops located along the path to the ski site by citing your stay with ”Xiaozhu”. Highly recommended and will definitely stay again if I were to ski at Nanshan ski resort.

I liked the hotel very much. So close to Universal studio. Very clean and comfortable. There are many nice places to take photos. Even the pick-up service from the airport is cheap. Imagine that they picked me up in a Tesla car and brought me to the hotel. And I can't forget the breakfast. It was very tasty and cheap. Good luck to your colleagues who offered friendly service and low prices.

I liked the hotel very much. So close to Universal studio. Very clean and comfortable. There are many nice places to take photos. Even the pick-up service from the airport is cheap. Imagine that they picked me up in a Tesla car and brought me to the hotel. And I can't forget the breakfast. It was very tasty and cheap. 房子很新很乾凈，空間也很大，家庭房裡有登山爬梯，二樓閣樓上有個跳床，還有一個榻榻米可以睡兩個人，設計的挺浪漫！房間裏面有地暖還有投影機，我和兒子重新把哈利波特1看了一遍，酒店離環球十幾分鐘的車程，最主要是去環球不用開車，提前和房東説好時間他們把早餐提前買好，然後開車給送去，下午又開車給接回來，我説這服務簡直是太捲了，然後這附近有很多飯店，醫務室葯店小超市，早上起床能聽見鳥叫聲，個人感覺比住在環球裏面那種硬生生的酒店要好，可以感受當地居民的熱情還可以吃當地本土的菜，推薦附近這家清真，裏面的烤魚太好吃啦，我的媽！今天走的時候還打包一份帶走哈哈哈

AAbi05The room we stayed in was spectacular. They have a variety of food options, western and Chinese. The only disappointment was that they said the pool had water in it and when we got there it didn't. If the pool was fine, I would go back to the hotel over and over again. A really good place to get away from the city to relax.

KKesley RoseMy partner and I stayed two nights in the double bed room. We are bicycle travelers but wanted to take a day to visit the Great Wall - this location is close enough you can walk to the wall (25min). The mattress was so comfortable (memory foam) we asked the owner where they bought it to see if we could get one shipped to the United States. The room was exceptionally well thought out optimizing space and convenience. The shower works really well, the automatic curtain offers plenty of privacy, the mini couch is a nice place to sit and fresh towels and extra bedding are ready for you on arrival. The hostess also gave us fresh apples each day and we were able to do laundry for 10yuan as well as order dinner for a reasonable price that was freshly made for us and delicious! As foreigners with little Chinese, the hostess was very patient and helpful as we translated messages back and forth with whatever questions we had about the stay. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an accessible place to stay near the Great Wall!

LLT NgUnique accommodation that carries vibes of ancient China, mesh with slight modern facilities, both interior as well as external features. Service was very good from kitchen staff, receptionist to cleaning ladies. They were friendly, cheerful and extend their help to us all the time. Shout out to the service crew, 筝筝，欣然，志勇 - excellent service, very warm greetings whenever we walk pass, and they voluntarily helped us with our heavy luggages up the stairs. Keep up the good work!

Bed was comfortable and cafe outside was cosy too ) two sweet doggies live there and you can enjoy petting them any time you wish ) the view from the roof was amazing and you could enjoy watching the Great Wall while sitting on the chair among the water on the roof 🥰 Shuiguan Great Wall was just 5 minutes away from the hotel ! I enjoyed climbing it , there were almost no people and It gives you an amazing feeling of being one -on -one with the nature and the wall! ❤️ the only thing I didn’t like - there was a smell in the bathroom . And when man in the next room started shouting in the evening - I could hear it very well! Because the walls in the hotel are sin. Nice guy in the reception immediately helped me to solve this problem - he wrote to my neighbours and they stopped creaming 🙏 all in all I liked this place and hope to come back one day ! thank you for the wonderful stay ! 🙏❤️

SSCOTTIt's all about the location. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the cable car entrance or the footpath taking you up to the Wall. Booking into the hotel means that you can drive all the way up to the hotel and parking is free so you don't have to get on the shuttle bus. You can visit the Wall by night which is more much comfortable and less crowded than during the day. Alternatively, as you are right at the entrance you can get up early and avoid the crowds. You can buy tickets for the cable car at the hotel (CNY20 each) and entrance to the Wall if you're walking up is already included in your room rate. The hotel itself is spread over a number of buildings and there is a decently maintained kids playground in the complex. The reception staff were very helpful when it came to getting tickets and so on. Rooms are basic but big enough and clean enough. Breakfast was typical for a hotel at this room rate. Overall, excellent value and with the playground and how easy it is to visit the Wall, a great choice for families. Lots of steps between the buildings, so bring a couple of small suitcases instead of one big one.

PPollarinaDON'T BOOK IF YOU'RE A FOREIGNER! Our host was so terrified of being punished for something due to us being not chinese citizens that we hat to hide and communicate in a very specific way. The host tried his best to be helpful but it was really hard. Location is fine, apartment layout also, but it was truly dirty: dust and hairs, ventilation looked like a fury creature. Would recommend to non foreigners. The view from the bed is scary beautiful:)
