Our stay at the courtyard in Beijing was honestly one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we arrived, the lady boss and her husband made us feel like we weren’t just guests—but part of their home. What truly stood out was how they went above and beyond in the most genuine way. She helped wash our clothes and even hung them to dry without us asking—something we didn’t expect at all, especially while traveling with kids. As a mom, that meant so much to me. She also took time to help with my children and even lent them toys, which instantly made them feel comfortable and happy. On our very first day, she even offered to drive us in her own car to the park—and not just drop us off, but wait for us too. That kind of kindness and effort is so rare, especially when you’re in a different country. What touched me even more was how thoughtful she was with my kids. She offered to help buy fruits for them, and when my daughter wasn’t feeling well (which usually happens to her when we travel abroad), she even helped us get the medicines we needed. That level of care felt so personal and sincere—it truly meant a lot to our family. Also, we have to mention how amazing the room itself was. It was so well-equipped with modern features—especially the comfort room, which had a heater and an automated toilet bowl (super convenient, especially in the cold weather!). The entire space was also very spacious, which made such a big difference for us as a family traveling with kids. We had enough room to move around, organize our things, and just feel comfortable overall. It really added to how relaxing and enjoyable our stay was. 💛 We booked this place hoping for a comfortable stay, but what we got was so much more—warmth, care, and genuine hospitality. I’m just so happy we chose to stay here. Truly unforgettable. 💛

This was the best hotel I have probably ever stayed in!! Everything was super amazing! I was here with my cousin for the weekend to visit Universal Studios. It was super convenient and close to the park. Most hotels I’ve been to, the air is quite dry and dusty and it gets my allergies going, but it was super clean. I also requested a non-smoking room and so it smelled very fresh in the room. The shower and bath were very relaxing, the soaps and shampoos provided smelled really nice too! They had lots of amenities in the room from toothbrushes, nespresso coffee, bath salts, a soft bathrobe, slippers and even a shoe horn to slip on your shoes! The room was very spacious and we were lucky to get a view of the park! The breakfast was also amazing! There were lots of food items to chose from! They had both traditional Chinese breakfast and English style breakfast items. I loved the pastries and salad bar! They also had fresh made juices that were very nice to drink in the morning, I loved the watermelon pear juice! There was also a central station where you could ask the chefs to cook noodles or your choice of eggs. Overall super satisfied!! The hotel service is definitely top tier. The staff were all incredibly friendly and kind. We weren’t sure on the first morning how to use the latte machine and the staff immediately helped us and brought it to our table. There was even a free shuttle to and from Universal studios, however they do pickup and leave the park a bit early, I believe around 8:40pm. I’m assuming it’s to avoid the traffic jam after the park closes. We ended up calling a cab both times because we were enjoying the breakfast too much! Even when we checked out of the hotel, the staff outside still helped us into our cab to the train station. The only real con I would say is that it was a bit hard to exit the parking area due to there being two weddings happening that weekend. Our cab drivers weren’t sure where to exit out from, but it wasn’t super hard to get out.  Overall, this was a great stay and I would definitely come back! The location is stunning and the room is well-sized for a family, modern and well decorated/ furnished in a luxury style. The gentleman looking after us was friendly, kind and helpful in booking a car, as well quick to respond to questions. The evening meal was delicious and he took us to an interesting restaurant for lunch. Hygiene was a big issue for us. The house was filthy inside and outside and needs to be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected by a professional company. The BBQ area was so dirty it was unusable and we cleaned the outside table 3 times ourselves before using. Floors inside were filthy and only a dirty, old mop used to move the dirt around - no clean, hot water or cleaning materials were used. I threw one of the floor mats outside - these must be replaced and cleaned between guests! This meant I had to use towels on the floor to prevent slipping, which got really dirty. Staff should not wear outdoor shoes inside the property! Cupboards have greasy fingerprints all over them. There were bugs in the shower and in the curtains. I saw hair around the indoor bathtub, but didn’t use it. A thorough clean with soapy, hot water BEFORE guests arrive is required, as it’s below the common standards in China that we’ve observed while traveling (including in some budget hotels). Breakfast was delivered to the property, but it was tiny and plain. We had just come from a budget hotel that had cleaner rooms and a more substantial breakfast provided. The ‘hot springs’ are from a water tank at the back. Showers are okay but would benefit from a water pump to improve the pressure. Beds are fine, if a little on the soft side for us, but that’s a personal preference. Overall, this could be a beautiful, luxury stay, and the gentleman was so helpful and kind. However, it is important that the hygiene and breakfast is improved, especially as the pricing is on the high-end, and so guests will expect more in terms of quality. We won’t return, unfortunately.

Service was exceptionally excellent. The front office staff were extremely helpful. I really enjoyed the hotspring. The food was great. I am looking forward to my second trip back to the hotel. One night was not enough.

Couldn't have picked a better hotel for this trip – no complaints at all! The room was super clean, the bed was perfectly comfortable (not too soft, not too firm), and I slept like a baby. The front desk girl saw I had heavy bags and helped me carry them upstairs without even asking. When I checked out, she handed me a bottle of water for the journey – those little touches really made me feel taken care of. Loved everything about it. Definitely staying here again next time, and already told my coworkers about it

Bilik keluarga yang kami tempah adalah sangat besar, dan ia agak selesa untuk dua orang dewasa dan seorang kanak-kanak. Terdapat seorang yang berdedikasi untuk mengarahkan parkir. Hotel ini dibina di atas gunung, dan jenis bilik yang berbeza tersebar di seluruh gunung. Perkhidmatan ini sangat baik dan mereka boleh membantu mengangkut bagasi. Dari bilik kami ke taman permainan kanak-kanak dan restoran, kami terpaksa berjalan naik dan turun banyak anak tangga dan jalan untuk ke sana. Kanak-kanak suka bermain di taman permainan kanak-kanak. Kami pergi ke sana tiga kali dalam dua hari, dan kemudian kami pergi mendaki Tembok Besar. Sebagai ibu bapa, saya berkata kaki saya patah kerana berjalan.

Wonderful Stay at Beijing Champs-Elysees Hotel – Perfect for a Special Celebration! I had an amazing 6-day stay at the Beijing Champs-Elysees Hotel, and it was the perfect place to celebrate my son’s second birthday! The hotel is conveniently located near the Panjiayuan Shilihe Subway Station, making it easy to explore the city. The rooms were spacious, modern, and comfortable, offering excellent value for money. It truly felt like a home away from home. What made our stay even more memorable was the exceptional service provided by the front desk staff—Chi Chi, Chi Linfeng, and Henguan. They were all incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to ensure we had a great experience. A big thank you to Chi Linfeng for his assistance in booking tours to the Temple of Heaven and the Great Wall of China, which were highlights of our trip. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special occasion. The hotel’s attention to detail and the wonderful service from the team made my son’s birthday even more memorable. 這次去了懷柔的雲端蓮馨谷，回來就忍不住想寫個好評，住得是真舒坦。 先説位置，藏在山裡麪，跟着導航走稍微遠了一點，但一到地方就覺得值了。空氣特別新鮮，能聞到青草和泥土的味道，一下子就把城裡的燥熱給沖散了。院子裏種了好多綠植。孩子一眼就看見了兩個無邊泳池和周邊的網紅鞦韆，非要去玩，我就躺在旁邊的躺椅上刷手機，風吹着特別涼快，也特別自在。 最讓我驚喜的是他們家的手工活動。本來以為就是隨便糊弄一下，沒想到真的有活動老師，還有明確的活動內容和活動時間。下午有免費的京劇髮箍活動，我和孩子一起做了一個，沒想到我們能做出這麼完美的作品。五點鐘還有個付費的手工diy披薩活動，我也給孩子約了一個，價格好像是88塊錢，不算貴。做完等老師烤，烤好了就能直接吃了，不得不説真的挺美味的！哈哈哈 我們的餐基本都在民宿解決的。當天晚上是點了個188炒菜套餐，其中那個虹鱒魚真的絕了，特別新鮮。他們説是養在泳池旁邊的池子裏的，都是現殺現醃現烤的。早餐有中式和西式可以選擇，是包含在房費裏的。第二天中午我們是單點了一些菜，也都挺美味的，給廚師點贊。 房間更是符合我的心意，因為我喜歡泳池邊上的房間，前台小姐姐就給我調到下面了。而且他們這邊客房服務也很到位，我們晚上發現投影遙控器沒電池了，給前台發了條微信，兩分鐘就送來了。 總的來説，不管是帶娃來玩兒，還是幾個朋友約着來喝茶發呆，或者公司搞個小團建，我覺得都挺合適的。我們這次玩得好吃得也好，性價比真的高。下次想來摘栗子的時候還住這兒，已經收藏了。

It’s such a cute little place to stay at with awesome views. The owners are so sweet! We checked in late because of a missed train and they helped us despite the late hour! Excellent food and cool animals on site. 10/10 would return the next time I’m in Beijing! 🤩

房間在景區旁邊，我們定好了以後給前台打了電話，告訴了我們哪個停車場更近一點，確實挺近的我們停在了一號停車場，走過去十分鐘就到了，房間很乾凈，走到景區也就三五分鐘就到了，接待的小姐姐很盡心，房間裏東西也很齊全，非常滿意，以後會推薦朋友來入住！
