Hotel 5-Star di Banten, Indonesia

The hotel is nicely located. Has a nice pool as well. Staff is helpfull and friendly. We stayed for a total of 3 nights here. 1 night at the arrival of our vacation and 2 at the departure. The breakfast is really good. For the two nights at the departure, we were offered an upgrade (from garden view to lake view). The room we booked was a kingsize bed but we got a twin room instead. So it wasn't really helpfull for us. Also the airconditioning in the room was a bit off. Only could do mega cold but since we we're away a lot, It didn't really bother us. All in all it's a nice stay, but the upgrade didn't make sense.

Very spacious room. However, room was along to main road and rather noisy at night for a light sleeper. Dinner option at restaurant does not meet expectation Was told that there is no ayam and bebuk.. This morning at 5.30am, when i wanted to return room key, staff was not enthusiastic in assisting me. He was busy meddling with incoming flowers.

I believe that the hotel was a local's favorite as the booking was quite full during Eid al-Fiṭr despite its relatively high price. The hotel was full of family and kids and there is no tranquility. Unlike other comparable hotels in the area, the hotel was not directly connected to the so called private beach. The so called private beach is not private at all and was occupied by many other non hotel guests. The non hotel guests can even park at the hotel carpark and use the ”private beach” and pool for free. Hence the ”private beach” was very full as those street vendors would charge people using the public beaches. So many non hotel guests just flooded in and the staff couldnt care less. So basically hotel guests are stripped off the privilege in using it, and you could never find any space. No towel was provided at the ”private beach”, the pool was like a mud swamp. No locker, only three btoken huts for toilet and changing, and no towel provided. As for the pool in the hotel main building, there is no control as well and seems anyone can use. Only several chairs and pavilions were available but all were occupied by people who did not dress like hotel guests (who would bring their clothes for changing at the pool if they are hotel guests?) Staff was non existent and no one offered to help you find some empty seat. As to other services, the dinning part is fine and food were reasonable. For the room and hotel, while the overall maintenance is ok given that the hotel is pretty new, maintenance was needed as well as cleanliness. The water at the outdoor bath was not hot. No hair conditoner and body lotion. Service-wise, the front desk people are good and tried their best to help. Hope they would not ring guests up at 9am asking them if they want to clean up room. Overall, view from the hotel was stunning, but not even close to 4-star services and facilities.

Upon arrival the porter came out with a big smile and a luxurious covered hotel trolly. It was unique and eye catching. The front desk staff greeted with a biggest smile and gave us room we booked. The whole process till our room didn’t take 5minutes. Superb service!! Our room was COLD with AC On and the porter came right up. After unpacking we head down to the swimming pool and the view and water temperature was spot on. Our family had a great time. Because BX mall was connected we could go shopping and eat various food and snacks that we craved. In the morning the breakfast was amazing so much food to choose from and staffs there wouldn’t leave the empty used plates alone. Hahaha they were very polite and pleasant. Our toddler son wanted an fresh orange juice and just by hearing this he even made one for free. It was just a one night stay but the time flew like an arrow. We are definitely going to stay here again. Splendid job Double tree Bintaro!! Two thumbs up!!

Great staff, but I need to wait until around 3.30 to get my room ready. But they provide the free flow snack and pastry while waiting for the room. I got corner room and the view is directly to the pool which is nice.
