The check-in process was quick. The reception staff on duty were very friendly. The room was quite okay and clean. Facilities are minimalist. Daily rooms housekeeping are available. The location is quite close to Komtar.

That said, if you’re planning a long stay or value spaciousness, you might feel a bit cramped. 🚗 Complimentary Parking A rare plus in central Penang—parking is free for hotel guests. The Cititel Express shares a secure multi-story car park with St. Giles Wembley, and parking comes with no charge for Cititel Express guests  . Do note, though, that a few guests have mentioned occasional hiccups with the parking ticket system, requiring a quick stop at reception to get it reissued  . 👍 Service, Cleanliness & Value Most reviews highlight friendly and helpful staff, comfortable beds, strong value-for-money pricing, and acceptable cleanliness standards for a budget-friendly city hotel    . While the facilities are basic, guests didn’t mention major complaints beyond the room size     . ⚠️ Noise & Thin Walls Light sleepers should be aware: the rooms tend to have minimal soundproofing, and sounds from neighbouring rooms or the corridor can be noticeable   

It is a value for money experience for me. Stay short and continue travel. I arrive the hotel after mid night. Frontdesk staff processed my reservation quick. I recommend an advance email notification for late arrival. Good location. 10 mins to Penang International airport.

For business traveller, the food is good and nice and the location also very a lot of hawker stalls. Will check in again in future time.

Strategic hotel , walking distance to most favourite nasi kandar , nasi kandar kg melayu ! Hotel boombastic , luxurious vibe. Good service, amenities, and bed. plenty of parking. comfort and yess will repeat again

The location is great with nearby food stall. In front of hotel got a very famous Nasi kandar and mamak stall. The room is clean but bedsheet got some stain, check in also quite easy but only 1 access card is given. I travel with my family and we go out or go back at different timing is a bit hassle with only 1 access card. The building is for office, residence and Airbnb use so security level not high.

This is great for business travellers. With the price, location and cleanliness. All staffs are very friendly and helpful. Would suggest to include healthier food selections for the breakfast menu like more proteins & vegetables. There were too much carbs served in the breakfast although it tastes nice.

What a hip hotel in a gorgeous location, and the room is so cute and comfortable! Had to catch a red eye back so stayed around the hotel reception area, and also not feeling well. Chris, one of their hotel staff/manager opened up the coffee shop which has closed already, and let me stay in there for the air conditioning and to help me make some hot medication for me. Such fantastic service. Absolutely love the hotel - highly recommended and will definitely be coming back ❤️

Location: The apartment experience this time is excellent. The same building as the Courtyard Hotel is the biggest highlight. You can see the sea view by pushing the window and the view is wide and comfortable. The apartment has complete facilities, the sofa feels soft and comfortable, the height of the selected floor is suitable, and the daily living is convenient and comfortable. Dining: The surrounding area is very convenient Apartment management specifications: professional reception process at the door, gym and other public facilities are also available to meet the basic needs of life and leisure. The fly in the ointment is that the luggage storage point is located in the surrounding supermarkets, the charge is high, the large suitcase is 16 yuan/day, the small suitcase is 8 yuan/day, but the price can be negotiated. The reception staff at the entrance of the apartment was friendly and the communication experience was good. On the whole, this is a very satisfying stay, and the next trip will be preferred here.
