酒店是一個古老修道院改建的，位於景區中心，出門300米之內就是圖拉真柱等各種古迹，到許願池羅馬斗獸場都是步行距離。酒店走的是小眾奢華路線，除了房間裏速溶咖啡略降檔次，冰箱裏備品一小瓶礦泉水2歐元，晚上有房間送餐服務，各種服務價格你把自己想成在迪士尼樂園中吃飯即可。但房間空調衹有製冷沒有制熱，因此4月停止供熱后很冷。

Excellent hotel. I stayed 2 nights and from the customer service, the room, the ambiance and food it’s was really enjoyable. The room was very clean and the amenities in the room was not just your average hotel. The bed was so comfortable and my room though not cold was comfortable enough to sleep well. I wasn’t sure what was nearby but I got out and walked and found many restaurants and shopping. The Trevor fountain was in walking distance very beautiful but extremely crowded. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We were two couples (friends) travelling in Italy and Hotel Locarno was our first stop. What a beautiful and elegant hotel it is. We had two suites, which were spacious and elegant and we felt very special, especially with the nightly turndown service, just lovely. The courtyard was fantastic for breakfast and cocktails and dinner, and even though it rained a lot while we were there, the retractible roof over the courtyard makes it always accessible. Unfortunately we were just that little bit early for the roof garden to be open for drinks but we could still access it as guests of the hotel. All of the staff was great, friendly and switched on about any issues we had. They also have great courtesy slippers in the rooms, very classy, although a little big for myself but a lovely idea. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and it was a highlight of our visit to Rome. We would all definitely stay at the Locarno on any future visits to Rome.

The location is perfect, near the Termini station which connects you everywhere you go. Termini station is not exactly safe as there are many homeless people camping and roaming around. We felt that the hotel was safe as the doors were locked and security guard is on duty to service the guests.

I am generally speaking an enthusiast of InterContinental hotels and like to try them all over the world when I can. I have been looking forward to trying out this new location in Rome and it was definitely a great experience. First of all, I only stayed one night but I felt like that allowed me enough time to be able to ”get to know” the hotel for the most part. As an InterContinental Platinum Ambassador (not as special as it sounds lol) we were given a very generous upgrade which was highly appreciated. Actually, better than almost all of the other InterContinental's I have stayed at (and it's been over two dozen) with the exception of maybe the Paris LeGrand. So right there I was very pleased. The hotel is very attractive in terms of decor, rather ”small” which lends a boutique-feeling and with a location that is right there in central Rome. Obviously prices are going to be competitive with other 5-star hotels in Rome so it wasn't cheap--that's for sure. Cleanliness was excellent, the windows did an amazing job of blocking outside noise (which is good as it's on a very busy street), and there was turn down service--which I consider a true marker of an actual five star hotel. (And something that unfortunately most InterContinental hotels no longer offer based on my experience.) Hotel employees were uniformly pleasant--especially the nice lady who checked us in and the young Polish/Italian man with glasses who worked out front greeting guests and helping them out of their car. (Wish I remembered their names!) The on-site restaurant, Scarpetta NYC, was also very good for both dinner and breakfast. (Although a tad too dark--I know they're going for a ”mood” but you can barely see in there! Next time I am in Rome I would happily stay here at the InterContinental and would definitely recommend it to others looking for a very comfortable ”oasis” in an otherwise very hectic city.

We chose Rhinoceros for a 2 night stay in Rome prior to beginning a Mediterranean cruise. We could not have made a better choice! Nestled against Palatine Hill near the Circus Maximus, this was a quiet oasis, with several ancient monuments just steps away, and a close scenic walk across the bridge to the Travestere neighborhood for numerous bar and restaurant options. Our ultra- modern suite was luxurious and the service impeccable and friendly. We especially enjoyed quiet continental breakfasts in our room, with a Nespresso machine, grapefruit and fresh basket of pastries/bread with jam and lovely views overlooking an ancient arch. For those wishing to cook, the clever hideaway kitchen was well equipped. The rooftop bar afforded beautiful views of Rome and refreshing cocktails. We took a short taxi ride to Colosseum area, but could have walked, and later walked back from the Pantheon, a bit more of a walk.

We spent our last night here, and had a wonderful time! First, we stayed here 5 yrs ago, but checked in later in the day and had such an early flight out, we weren't able to enjoy the grounds. This time around, we were able to get the full experience, and let me tell you, it was wonderful! The grounds are immaculetely maintained and beautiful. Our dinner was lovely (make sure to ask for patio seating when booking), Breakfast was just as nice and the people were so kind and attentive. The rooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated. My husband and I wished we booked for two nights! Thank you all for such a great stay! P.S.: I know someone complained that they arrived early, a couple of hours before check in and couldn't use the grounds before check in...pay the extra money, it is worth it!

We booked a triple room with park wiew, which means the location of the room on the floor above the first one, I think. I indicated in advance that we would prefer a higher floor, if possible. I didn’t receive any answer, although hotels usually answer, albeit something standard, like: “We will be glad to see you, we will take into account your wishes, but we cannot guarantee,” but hotels usually answer. When we arrived and checked in, at the reception said that we were upgraded for free. At first we were delighted, but it turned out that the room on the first floor, and the side one, the main window with a balcony overlooking the city, and not the park. And the bottom is not very loud, but still, something is noisy (apparently pumps from the pool) When we returned to the reception and said that we still want a room of the ordered category, but with a view of the park, they answered that there were no free ones. But there is a free suite on the top floor, you can check in there if you pay extra 400 € (husband asked again, twice the receptionist answered “yes, 400 €”) We agreed and went to see the room. We liked the room, decided to pay extra and take it. But at the time of payment by card, the husband saw that he had to pay not 400 €, but 4000 €! To which the receptionist apologized, saying that he simply confused “hundreds” and “thousands” in English This situation made me feel very uncomfortable! After that, the receptionist said that tomorrow we will change the room to the one that we booked, but did not say who and when will contact us or what time we need to go to the reception for this. In the end, no one contacted us and we stayed until the end in this room. It was an unpleasant experience. At the same time, the location of the hotel itself is magnificent, the interior is also very beautiful.
