Our stay in Huangshan Bai Yun Hotel was amazing. The hotel is clean, has everything you need when you do hiking in Huangshan, the service is great, the food is good and all the staffs are very friendly and helpful especially 小黄. She took care of us very well, give us a lot of information about activities and what to do. She made sure that we are comfortable and all our needs are taken care off. She went extra miles by giving us some fruits and snacks, the specialities from Huangshan. When we were tired from hiking, she made sure we can have a relaxing rest by having afternoon tea. She took care of us and made a huge difference during our stay. Hopefully we can come back to Huangshan and meet with 小黄 again, thank you for everything.

We had a lovely stay at Yujian No.8 in Huangshan Tunxi Old Street. The room was very spacious and beautifully designed with an artistic and elegant touch, creating a warm and unique atmosphere. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Tunxi Old Street. It was very convenient to simply step outside and enjoy walking along the historic street, exploring the shops, local snacks, and the charming surroundings. The butler service was excellent. They kindly helped us arrange transportation to Huangshan Scenic Area and also to the railway station, which made our travel very smooth and convenient. They also provided great recommendations for delicious local food. Their warm hospitality truly made our stay more enjoyable. Overall, it was a delightful experience and a perfect place to stay while visiting Huangshan.

This guesthouse is just amazing! The rooms are clean and tidy, the beds are comfortable, and there is a beautiful garden and private beach. The staff is friendly and helpful, and recommended many local delicacies and attractions to us. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserThis was my first time staying at a Mercure hotel and I was not disappointed. This new hotel opened in April. I usually stay at less expensive hotels but I was attending a festival at Luogang Central Park and wanted to find accommodations nearby. It was a short walk from the hotel door to the festival gates. I could see the stages from my room. The service at the hotel was the best that I have ever encountered. I was immediately greeted by the guest services agents. Sally, the front office manager, assisted me as I checked in. She speaks excellent English. Sally assisted me by entering the hotel address and room number into *******. The food was delivered to my room by robot. Sally and the staff at the front desk made sure that everything about my stay was as perfect as it could be. On day two, I ordered ******* again. The food never arrived. As I do not know any Chinese, Sally helped me by talking to the vendor and delivery driver. She spent two days (even after I had checked out and gone home) to make sure that I got a full refund from *******. For some reason, I could not rent a phone charger from the machine in the lobby (that is a problem on my end not a problem with the machine). One of the guest services agents on duty rented the charger for me and I paid her when I returned the charger. My room was beautiful! I had a corner room with windows on two sides. I enjoyed a long soak in the tub each day. The toilet came with a remote control that I translated. There were a few minor things about the room that could be improved. 1. The refrigerator was stocked with free beverages. However, there were no sugar free sodas. The water bottles are smaller than what I am used to and there were only two bottles of regular drinking water in the room. The maid and front desk were happy to supply me with more when asked. 2. The telephone sits on the bedside table that is in the far corner of the room. You have to walk around the bed to reach it. The phone would be more accessible on the side of the bed closer to the sitting area. I don't usually use the hotel phone but you do get a call when the robot comes to your door. 3. To open and close the curtains, you press the button next to the bed. The corner room has large windows on both walls. There is no way to only open the curtain on one side of the room. The morning sun was too strong from one window so I used a chair to prop open the curtains on the other window. 4. There is a lack of foreign programming on the television. Other hotel chains that I use have a free English movie station like HBO or Cine-Max. I travel with a USB stick that has some movies saved on it in case the hotel does not offer such programming. However, the original TV remote is not supplied in the room and there is no way to change the TV input from their satellite box to the USB port. I did not have my laptop with me. I inquired with Sally at the front desk but there was nothing that she could do. There was an option to order pay per view movies. 5. The next problem is my error. I put the paper do not disturb sign on the door. I did not realize that there was also a button on the light switch that turns on a green light outside of the door when you want the room cleaned. I accidentally turned on the light. The maid walked in on me without knocking first. She was very kind and apologetic. I did not use all hotel amenities. I did enjoy the wine, coffee, and snacks in the front lobby. I also ate breakfast in the hotel restaurant each day. There was a nice variety on the breakfast buffet that changed daily. I found the laundry room to be clean and comfortable with a small sitting area. It is located near the fitness room and restaurant. I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again if I am in the area. The small issues that I mentioned above are just minor inconveniences and nothing that can't be corrected or worked around. Based on my stay here, I would also try other Mercure hotels when traveling.

GGuest UserThe location is okay for concerts, about a 30-minute walk. However, there is construction nearby, which makes it noisy. The renovation is probably quite old, and some of the design is not very reasonable. There is no full-length mirror, and the sink does not have a trash can. Also, people will slip small cards into the room at night. The room itself is quite large.

GGuest UserJiuhua Mountain comes as soon as you think of it! Before coming, I did some homework. There are old hotels on the mountain, and many design B&Bs have also grown up. And this one is the most emotional. As soon as the order was placed, the butler contacted us on WeChat and arranged for a car to pick us up when we reached the mountain. We ”rejected” the housekeeper's kindness and walked all the way into Jiuhua Old Street. When we were about to get lost in the dotted alleys, the B&B suddenly appeared in front of us. ”Alley”, as its name suggests, is hidden among alleys. The afternoon sun was just right. When we walked in, the snow that fell last week had not completely melted. The white walls and green tiles, a small courtyard, and a big tree shone in the warm winter sun. After getting familiar with the terrain, I found that the location of the B&B is very good, with major temples, the cable car to the Centennial Palace, and the bus to the rooftop for transfer all nearby. What also left a deep impression on me were the three young girls in the B&B. They were full of laughter, very cute, and felt like family.

Plus, you can catch both the sunrise and sunset from Aoyu Peak, and it's quite close to Bright Summit. Since all the trash and drinking water are manually carried, it's clear we're guests in a natural environment. Therefore, we should especially cherish and protect this natural heritage. I hope everyone tries to produce less waste, always disposes of trash in designated areas along the way, and refrains from smoking. Let's preserve this beautiful natural landscape for future generations and the small animals that live here.

ZZaihaibian.The room is fully equipped, even with a mini-fridge, and it's very clean. The in-room facilities are all smart, with plenty of lighting, and the shower is a big plus with multiple nozzles – it's so convenient, just like being at home! Disposable bath towels and toilet seat covers are also provided, which is great. But the most important thing is the hotel's service, which is truly excellent. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Huangshan. They offer pick-up and drop-off to the transfer center, which is a huge convenience. Plus, the hotel provides hiking poles, and on the day we went hiking, there was a light rain, so they even gave us raincoats and a map – so thoughtful! It's also very close to dining options, making everything super convenient and quiet. Highly recommended. If you're heading out early for a hike, you can even store your luggage here.

GGuest UserDuring the Guangxi 'March 3rd' holiday, I met up with friends and brought our children specifically to climb Tiandu Peak, which we learned about in school. We wanted to experience the famous Huangshan pines and unique rock formations firsthand and immerse ourselves in the beautiful scenery. We arrived at Huangshan Hidden Realm B&B tired and hungry from our journey. Luckily, the B&B's food was authentic and delicious, full of southern Anhui flavor, and very reasonably priced. Our room was comfortable and cozy, allowing us to shed all our fatigue. After a strenuous day of hiking up and down the mountain, the B&B thoughtfully provided shuttle service to and from the mountain base, saving us a lot of trouble. The next day, when we were leaving, the owner even proactively helped us book a car to the high-speed rail station. The entire service was meticulous and heartwarming. Our stay was fantastic and I highly recommend it!

MMskypThe soundproofing wasn’t great, as I could hear noise from outside and even people showering in nearby rooms. However, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The red jacket provided by the hotel was especially useful—it kept me warm and dry during the rainy weather. The window view wasn’t as good as I expected, and the room was quite small, but the overall cleanliness was acceptable. The room was very warm thanks to the heater, which made the stay comfortable. I had originally booked this hotel to watch the sunrise and sunset from the mountain, but unfortunately, the rainy weather didn’t allow me to experience that, which was a bit disappointing. Considering it’s one of the most affordable hotels at the top of the mountain, it’s still a reasonable choice. The evening performance was creative and enjoyable. I also appreciated that the staff allowed me to check in a bit early and didn’t rush me when I left. Thank you!

Facilities: We received a free room upgrade, and the facilities are excellent. There's a hot spring on the first floor, which was incredibly enjoyable after hiking! I heard there's also an outdoor pool on the fifth floor in the summer. Cleanliness: The cleanliness was good. Service: The service was very attentive. We initially went to the wrong place, and they even drove us to the transfer center. They promptly provided any items we needed, and on our departure day, they even packed breakfast for us to take with us.

GGuest UserIt locates near the lake, so there's awesome and gorgeous view. I can see very beautiful lake on the balcony in my room. There are several big hotels around the lake. This Novotel has the best lake view. The distance to the Chaohu Lake is not far. Renting a car is the best choice. This location is nearly the edge of service areas of the shared electric bicycles. There are many merchants near this Novotel. It's very convenient to buy food and daily supplies. It's really an unforgettable travel. Next time I would select this Novotel again.
