Hotel 4-Bintang di Valle Del Cauca, Colombia

My friends and I stayed at the Faranda Cali on a friends trip to Colombia. The Faranda is located in the historical center of Cali, close to the boulevard and other historical sites, like Iglesia Ermita. Check in was relatively smooth and the hotel is relatively modern, given its surroundings. The area around the hotel is not the best, but they don't reflect the inside of the hotel. The general vibe of the hotel is Art Deco. I don't know what that has to do with Cali, Colombia, but that's what the Faranda was giving. There's one small elevator for the hotel, so if you don't mind stairs, I would advise using them at least to walk down. There's also a bar on the top floor that gets very loud when there's an event. So again, if this is a problem, request a room on the lower floor. I also wouldn't count getting any kind of workout in their ”fitness room” which is a tiny room with ancient equipment and no ventilation. The bar staff also randomly come and go, so if you go to get a drink at 8:00 p.m. there may or may not be a bar tender at the bar in the lobby which is the first thing you see when you walk into the place. On the positive side, the room rate seemed to be excessively reasonable. Breakfast was pretty okay and security is very tight at night, so you can feel pretty good about staying there. It was good to try but I think I'll pay a little bit more and stay somewhere with nicer amenities next time.

Hotel Es moderno , tranquilo súper cómodo y limpio , el personal bien amable servicial y muy trabajadoras , le doy gracias por sus servicios y amabilidad , ofrecen desayunos bien deliciosos and light . Gracias por todo , yo regresaría aquí de volver a Cali . A la derecha del hotel sirven los mejores desayunos caleños y delicioso pan de queso, Cerca está el Parque del peñón o más conocidos Parque de los Gatos que puede ir caminando , así como restaurant Obelisco donde podrás comer las mejores empanadas de Cali . Ya les digo recomiendo este hotel

Decent rooms, great staff, clean facility , good restaurants. Overall a very good value for money in cali. Centrally located and easy access to good places to eat and party. Like the vibe of the staff, I would recommend this to anyone visiting cali for a short trip

This hotel follows a strict covid 19 protocol. Excellent service, everything is clean, awesome location! One block away from Chipichape mall, and one block away from a big supermarket (La 14) It's on the North side of the city which is very convenient for traveling.

Imagine, if you are in a foreign country and after travelling on a bus for 4 hours and finally reached the destination and the hotel you booked a few month ago to secure a room in the busiest season has no room available for you. What do you feel? That was exactly happened to me and my husband yesterday. It was 9 pm, one of the busiest time in Cali. I booked a room through *********** months ago knowing it’d be hard to find any room in Cali. I had a confirmation email but the receptionist didn’t even have a close look at the email, nor checking with manager and just told us they had no room available at all. Her explanation was we needed to pay before hand but all in all we were shocked by her attitude. My comment here is just for getting attention from the management of the hotel, as we didn’t have a chance (or energy) to talk to them yesterday. Errors and issues are happening no matter how you prepared and we know that. However, she didn’t even give us sympathy, trying to offer a help, support, suggestion, nothing. I do not put her name here, but if the management likes to know please reach out. I don’t think we will stay in Carlton hotel, especially in Cali, unfortunately.

Everything was good, the room, the employees and the amiability of the hotel personal was so good The hotel needs to offer others breakfast options and better house kipping services Thanks for the good way to take care of us

Juan Jose.. You cannot come to this hotel without checking out Juan ... Best bartender in the city very energetic and very helpful... By the way he speaks English.. Helped us with translation as well directed us to great area in Cali.... The cocktail was awesome

buenas tardes señores hotel Obelisco primero no estaba aqui en el pais y ahora al e contrarme con este correo y mensaje la verdad no queria contestar ninguna encuesta de ustedes por que la ultima experiencia fue terrible y supremamente mala en todo. si no quieren poner atencion a este correo o mensaje eso sera problema ya de ustedes y al que corresponda la verdad ya creo que no volvamos mas a este hotel despues de lo que paso y si quiere leer esto espero que le ponga tencion a todo esto que nos toco vivir y es muy pero muy grabe y desagradable ojala que no le pase a otras personas como a nosotros. y si ustedes no le dan la importancia que se necesita y no le ponen atencion o a su empleados y la mala atencion que tuvimos y el trato que nos dieron y eso que pagamos anticipado todo como las veces anteriores y fuimos tratados como si estuvieramos pidiendo limosna eso no se hace con clientes como nosotros ni con nadie por que nada es regalado usted todo lo cobrar. para a ver recibido este trato tan feo y desagradable despues de haber sido clientes de ustedes por 6 años con este ultimo que fue en diciembre y siempre nos hospedavamos alli. pero como ya dije antes este sera la ultima ves y ya quedo el informa completo con la agencia de aviatur de como fuimos tratados. y nadie le dio importancia todo siguio como si no hubiera pasado nada. desde el primer dia que llegamos que fue el dia 20 de diciembre y en semejante aguacero nos mandaron a mi y a mi tio para una habitacion matrimonial la cual n unca habiamos pedido siempre habia sido con dos camas y esto para nosotros es una falta de respeto luego nos enviaron a una abitacion con 4 camas no habia televicion ni radio reloj no habia nevera todo esas camas estaban sucias no tenia nevera como nadie nos fue a tender tuvimos que llamar a reccion de nuevo como en la primera habitacion que nos dieron en el piso 5 que el señor en cargado de las maletas o el de la porteria nos dejo alli como si no le importara nada. nos dejo hay con las maletas que teniamos que llamar a reccion y pedir una nueva habitacion por que esto no era problema de el y nos dejo alli como si no pasara nada y luego de este momento tan maluco nos enviaron a otra habitacion de dos camas que era super oscura y terrible y por ultimo ya al ver que no habia nada mas que hacer nos dieron una habitacion con balcon donde no habia nevera no habia radio reloj como en años anteriores y no habia televicion y muchicimas mas cosas pasaron en estas vacasiones que solo me quedo un mal recuerdo y pero tuvimos que pagar un dinero de mas el cual no era por nuestro error si no error de ustedes como hotel sin envargo a pesar que era culpa de ustedes tuvimos que pagar la diferencia todo esto se lo dijimos a la agencia de aviatur y ellos tomaron por escrito todo este informe que les dimos no se si ya les informaron a usdes o de pronto ya no los van mas tener mas encuenta despues de esto que pasamos nosotros. ya esta la ag
