Very nice hotel, clean, tidy and plenty of attentive staff. We used as a base for exploring Jersey so didn't really use the hotel facilities - except the breakfast which was excellent - although for us it would have been nice if breakfast had started a little earlier maybe 7:30am? (it ran from 8am to 10am which was OK). Late on the last evening when packing we found we couldn't open the room safe as it had malfunctioned, it was after 11pm, but it actually showed the hotel staff in a very good light as the receptionist tried her best to help, the restaurant manager said opening the safe was the priority, and eventually after about twenty minutes the porter did manage to open the safe (”mechanically” - but that's another story!), so all was good ...... the problem was the electronic device - hotel staff were excellent and problem was solved! Overall very good, would stay again.

Excellent hotel, front staff very friendly & helpful. Room was clean & everything you would need, ( a fridge would have been handy)
10-15 minutes walk to town & sea front. Breakfast fine & plenty of choice, good evening menu.
Spa was excellent with infinity pool, jacuzzi, cold plunge pool, sauna & steam room at no extra charge.
Would definitely recommend.

非常到位的服務，前台很熱情，客房服務也很到位：
1.每次打掃房間後都會幫忙摺好睡衣，補充水和食物，並留下打掃者的姓名
2.前台接電話很快。我們遇到了三個問題，都在5分鐘之內解決。
3.地理位置極佳，距離bus station衹有3分鐘路程，背後就是市中心（central market），距離所有網紅餐廳都很近（除Oyster box等在海邊的餐廳外）
4.酒店很乾凈，客房大，設施新，尤其是衞生間，配套設施很足且用的Th White Company套裝。

Had a lovely time - the room overlooking the bay provided the best view and it was a dream to wake up to the sound of waves every morning. Can't beat the location and there are several restaurants nearby as well as the hotels own which was really convenient for drinks in the evening and for a quick lunch between beach sessions. Everything was clean and quiet and service was friendly and even called to tell us our room was ready earlier than planned.

酒店在島的西南方，位置很絕，從機場打車很方便。從酒店打的士很方便，公交車的話有點麻煩，晚上路很黑。酒店環境很好，小但是挺高級的酒店，服務沒話説。還可以租ebike，騎車注意安全。很早的飛機也有早餐可以送到房間。（圖都為實拍，無濾鏡）

I got the superior room with the sea view which was refreshing. The location is probably the best for the most part of a tourist- close to the city centre and bus station (for going to tourist attractions outside town which would be too expensive with a taxi) as well as very close to the harbour for the Condor Ferry (if you want to visit the other Channel Islands like Guernsey in same trip)

GGuest UserOnce again an excellent stay at the Somerville Hotel, over Christmas. This hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent and the location cannot be beaten. I can’t wait to return, for another visit, around April 2026.
Thank you to all staff, for making my visit so memorable, once again.

GGuest UserGreat hotel. The location is superb and we very glad to have a sea view. The breakfast was a bit pricey, but was good quality. The room was spacious and well maintained. The staff were always friendly and helpful, especially towards my five year old son. Due to a travel problem we ended up having to check out a few hours late and the staff were very accommodating.

WWolfeHad a fabulous stay at the Royal Yacht, our Gold Twin room was really spacious and very clean. The food was excellent especially the breakfasts and the staff were really attentive and helpful.
Perfect location for accessing the local buses and tourist information. Would definitely stay here again.

DDarayrayThe hotel is in the south west of the island, the location is very good, it is very convenient to take a taxi from the airport. It is very convenient to take a taxi from the hotel. The bus is a bit troublesome and the road is dark at night. The hotel environment is very good, small but very high-end hotel, the service is nothing to say. You can also rent ebike and pay attention to safety by bike. Very early planes also have breakfast to be delivered to the room. (The pictures are real shots, no filters)

GGuest UserThe room is large. The toilet flush button is not easy to use, and the heating is not on at night, so it is quite cold. The service attitude is very good, the breakfast is not bad, and the restaurant environment is elegant and comfortable.

GGuest UserVery good service, the front desk is very enthusiastic, and the room service is also very good:
1. After each room cleaning, they will help fold the pajamas, replenish water and food, and leave the name of the cleaner
2. The front desk answered the phone very quickly. We encountered three problems, all of which were solved within 5 minutes.
3. The location is excellent, only 3 minutes away from the bus station, behind is the city center (central market), and it is very close to all the Internet celebrity restaurants (except Oyster box and other restaurants on the beach)
4. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are large, the facilities are new, especially the bathroom, the supporting facilities are sufficient and use Th White Company suits.
