Hotel Mountain view di Beijing

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.everyone went out of their way to assist us, always with a warm smile. Their genuine hospitality really made a difference. The location is excellent, especially for visiting Mutianyu. It’s very convenient and allows you to explore the area without the rush of traveling from Beijing city. We also had lunch at both their Western and Vietnamese restaurants, and the food at both was excellent—definitely a highlight of our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a visit to Mutianyu, particularly if you prefer a more relaxed and enjoyable experience.

Great value for money in terms of what one gets vs what we've paid for -- trendy design hotel, nice, spacious room, there's even a fridge (usually for this price it's not provided), nice lobby, adequate size breakfast area with nice ambience, good service all round. Good design and layout in room with comfortable beds, adequate powerpoints and charging points. I like that the basin area has a huge top so I could put all my toiletries (I've got a lot) Thoughtful little stuff that I like : torchlight-like light by the beside and mugs with rubber base to insulate the heat. The toiletries in the bathroom smell really good too! Breakfast has good variety -- different types of porridge, some steam dumplings, sweet potatoes and corn, etc, rice, different dishes, there's a noodle station where you could customise your noodles to a certain extent, eggs, there's also bread and some sandwiches (ready-made and can DIY too), fruits, milk, juices, coffee, soya bean milk. I feel that the options available is not bad for a hotel of such a level. Actually my booking didn't include breakfast but was advised by the staff (when I check-in) to join the hotel's membership for RMB$99 so that I can get free breakfast. Hotel lobby also serves water and orange juice - another nice touch. Hotel staff's service was very good all round. Offered to help send my luggage up when they saw I had lots of luggage and was alone (some hotels at this level wouldn't volunteer to do so). Was able to answer most of my questions re nearby malls, where to get stuff like fruits, milk, nearby attraction. House-keeping staff was good too. A big thank you to the 2 reception staff that was on night shift on 6 Apr who had helped me out re a delivery mistake made by ******* platform. They even had to look at the CCTV of the hotel to find out what really happened and it took a long while. They were very nice and patient throughout the whole drama. They also helped me speak to the customer service of ******* to try to resolve the problem. When the problem still could not be resolved that night and I was without what I required urgently like the charging cable for my phone, they staff lent me the hotel's. They also gave me a small fruit pack and a pack of milk and bread (complimentary) as I needed it the following morning to bring outdoors for the day. In addition, they had briefed their colleagues on the next shift re my case so that they're aware and could help me should I require more help. Excellent service! Re location, it's a little far off though but it's really near to Beijing Garden Expo Park (北京园博园) and the accompanying Garden Museum (园博园博物馆) . It's a really nice park that's really huge -- that is made up of little models of different style of parks (from Jiangnan to Lingnan to Beijing) It has pavilions, water features and other Chinese architecture and landscaping that usually adorn such traditional parks. Great for photoshoot. Best of all, there're very few people there! There's a small little mall about 700-800m away from the hotel, that has mainly food there with many different types of value for money eateries, coffee, a supermarket and some other shops for daily necessities that local residents need. For a real mall, head to one call 长安天街, that's about 5km away - you can get there quite easily within 10-15mins by Didi (the online platform where you could get a cab I really enjoyed staying here cost it's almost like a resort - a little remote but so quiet and spacious and there's no crowd at all -- very relaxing! I would really want to come back here especially when i want to be in a place where I can feel really relaxed without breaking the bank.

Check in and out was easy. From bus station, I had a leisure walk for 10mins to the trousim checkin building (The only way to enter Gubei Wtown). They gave free entrance ticket to Gubei because my hotel provides. If your hotel stay is outside, you will need to buy another ticket everytime you re-enter this area. My hotel is a 20mins walk from the Tourism checkin building so make sure you talk the free shuttle. They have luggage delivery but be warned they may take long hours to deliver during peak season. Deyuelou is nice to stay, simple. my Kang's room has a window to see a river. The aircond is also a heater. Easy to use once I Google Translate the buttons.

Stayed for 2 nights in Oct 2024, planned for 1 night to visit around the town itself and another night for the Simatai Great Wall. 1. Location - Inn is located within Gubei Watertown and it is necessary to go through the watertown to visit the Simatai Great Wall. By booking an accommodation within the town gives you discounted entrance price into the town and since we planned to visit the great wall and explore the town itself we have decided to stay for 2 nights (also partly the cost and time to travel there from Beijing). Inn is located near the main square where some performances are held and near a shuttle service stop (free shuttle services within town if you’re staying in an accommodation within town. Overall a good location within town. 2. Room - Booked a family room for 4 (2 single beds in each level). Room is mostly made of wood hence its not really a modern feel and its not really sound-proof which the staff has notified in advance. Room is spacious and bathroom is big. Stairs that goes up to the 2nd level is stable but can be a little steep for seniors. Overall the room is decent. It comes with tomatoes, peanuts and tea as welcome gift. 3. Luggage - There’s a luggage service whereby you can arrange for your luggage to be transported to your hotel from entrance, and from hotel back to entrance. This is definitely needed as the ground in the watertown is not a smooth surface and can be hard to carry your luggages around. 4. Services & breakfast - Staff’s services is really good and efficient! Breakfast is simple but has good variety. There’s the buffet portion which consists of small dishes for porridge, bread, bun, drinks etc. And there’s an alacarte portion where you need to order in advance the night before such as bacon, egg, sausages, noodles etc. i think its a good initiative to avoid wastage. Overall a very good stay and would recommend if you are visiting Gubei Watertown and would like to stay in a more traditional feel.

Biliknya bersih dan sangat baik. Ia sangat dekat dengan pintu masuk Tembok Besar, mudah untuk berjalan kaki. Bagi warga asing yang tidak faham bahasa Cina, mungkin agak sukar untuk mencari kerana papan tanda hotel dalam bahasa Cina, jadi anda perlu melihat dengan teliti. Saya ingin mengatakan bahawa anda harus mencari lokasi bertentangan dengan jambatan yang menghala ke gerai tiket Great Wall.

Bilik bersih dan bersih. Adalah sangat disyorkan untuk tinggal di hotel selama satu malam apabila membawa orang tua dan kanak-kanak mendaki Tembok Besar Mutianyu. Kenderaan boleh memandu terus ke kawasan pemandangan, menjimatkan masa beratur untuk bas ulang-alik. Lebih-lebih lagi, terdapat sangat sedikit orang yang memanjat Tembok Besar pada sebelah petang. Anda boleh menaiki kereta kabel tertutup sekali pada sebelah petang, turun sebelum jam 6 untuk berehat dengan baik selepas makan malam, dan menaiki kereta kabel yang tidak ditutup lagi selepas sarapan pagi keesokan harinya. Seronok sangat nak naik naik skuter turun. Kakitangan meja depan hotel dan restoran sangat bersemangat. Secara keseluruhannya, hari pertama di Beijing adalah pengalaman yang sangat baik!

We stayed at Bolo Hotel for one night after a long day visiting the Great Wall, and what truly made our stay memorable was the outstanding service provided by Liam. From the moment we arrived, Liam impressed us with his initiative and professionalism. As soon as we stepped out of the car, he immediately helped with our luggage and insisted on carrying our bags. While all the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful, Liam stood out by a mile because of how proactive he was in anticipating guests' needs. We had purchased some fruits from a nearby local market, and without us even asking, Liam offered to wash them and later presented them beautifully plated in our room. He also offered to assist with our laundry, consistently going above and beyond what would normally be expected. What impressed us most was that his attentiveness never felt forced. On the morning of our departure, despite having worked late the previous evening, he personally came by during breakfast to check that everything was going well and that we were enjoying our stay. At checkout, he had already noted our departure time and, without any prompting from us, proactively asked whether he should come and help with our luggage. His service was truly second to none. Liam is a tremendous asset to Bolo Hotel and embodies the very highest standards of hospitality. He sets an example that many in the industry could learn from. We are extremely grateful for his kindness, initiative, and genuine care throughout our stay. Thank you, Liam, for making our short stay such a memorable one.

Commune by the Great Wall berada di lokasi yang sangat bagus hanya kira-kira 30 minit dari bahagian Badaling di Great Wall. Kakitangan di sini sangat membantu, terutamanya bagi seseorang yang tidak banyak berbahasa Cina. Kawasan ini agak jauh dari mana-mana perkhidmatan atau restoran lain, jadi melainkan anda mempunyai pengangkutan sendiri, kebanyakannya anda akan makan di hotel. Nasib baik, makanannya benar-benar lazat dan disediakan dengan sangat baik di restoran yang ditawarkan oleh hotel. Ia juga berada di kawasan semula jadi yang indah dengan banyak kawasan hutan yang bagus untuk diterokai betul-betul di luar bilik hotel anda. Yang sangat membantu dan membantu saya mendapatkan tiket dan teksi ke Tembok Besar Badaling.

My stay was wonderful to say the least! The calming environment was soothing after a long day. All the staff members (especially Stephanie and Bruce) were kind and attentive at all times! I would highly recommend staying at the hotel, to anyone who wants to make use of the great facilities there are to offer or just relax in one of the beautiful serene rooms.

The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was beautiful and tasty. Laoban was super friendly and did everything to accomodate us. He really made us feel welcome and granted us every wish. We used the hot (very hot) spring. The entrance to the great wall is just across the street. The restaurant is just next door and open most of the time. I defenetely recommend this hotel. What a pitty that we only planned to stay one night here. We were sad to say goodbye. (I also took a picture of the room with private courtyard. This was not our room. But we want to book one next time.)
