Hotel Romantik di Macau

Keya and Jim at the front desk were exceptional. We had a new born baby travelling with us and Keya was extremely well mannered by coordinating bell service and walked with us in to our beautifully baby-prepped room and showed us key amenities to enhance our stay -eg baby bottle warmer, kids towel, slippers, kids dental kit, shampoo/shower gel etc. The shopping arcade in the Galaxy Promenade was absolutely stunning, so clean and grand. Food selection was great and there is a huge Apple Store inside. Galaxy hotel also has a top tier hotel-guest only kids play area which is one of the best in the area. As a bonus, Galaxy hotel is located not too far from traditional old city streets with lots of top street food and historical building to take pictures （Rue de Cunha and surrounding areas). This is a great place to stay for all families. Our family felt so well taken care of and we will be back next time.

Kemudahan: Walaupun hotel lama, tetapi ia dijaga dengan baik, bersih dan selesa. Bilik sangat besar dan luas, cuma nak tutup lampu sebelum tidur kena berjalan jauh. 😂 Perkhidmatan: Semua kakitangan sangat baik. Cik Lilia di kaunter hadapan sangat profesional dan bersemangat, membantu mengatur daftar masuk awal, dan bagasi boleh dihantar terus ke bilik. Kami juga boleh menyimpan bagasi selepas daftar keluar.

Very beautifull stay! We where celebrating our wedding anniversary .  We stay 3 nights.  The hotel  its well located, near all the monuments ( plaza del senado )  - the staff was wonderfull.  The breakest very good , Our guest realionship ( ANN ) was wonderful at all times.  She help us with  the reservation of the shuttle and the ferry to Hong Kong !  Very nice person  We will come back for sure next year !

I stayed at Hotel Metropole Macau and unfortunately had a mixed experience. The biggest issue was the condition of the room. It felt quite old, and there was a strong cigarette smell throughout… from the hallway all the way into the room. The odor was persistent and uncomfortable, and it actually triggered my allergies. If you have rhinitis or are sensitive to smoke, I would strongly advise against staying here, as it can really affect your comfort and overall trip. On the positive side, the location is excellent. The hotel is very centrally located, with many major attractions within walking distance, and it’s easy to get around the area. Breakfast was simple but filling… nothing fancy, but enough to start your day. Overall, the hotel has great potential because of its location, but improvements in cleanliness and eliminating the cigarette smell would make a big difference. Until then, it may not be the best choice for travelers who are sensitive to odors.

4 Stars — Great Location and Excellent Staff We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Sintra. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, which made our visit feel welcoming from the start. The location is truly outstanding — we were able to walk to the Ruins of St. Paul’s, the historic Macau district, and even Fisherman’s Wharf, which is about a 30‑minute walk away. There are plenty of restaurants and shops in the area, and New Yaohan department store, with its convenient supermarket, is only a two‑minute walk from the hotel. The free shuttle buses to the Londoner, Parisian, and Venetian were also a great bonus. The only drawbacks were related to the building’s age. Our room’s sink was cracked, and some of the finishing felt dated. There are only two elevators serving 14 floors, so they can get busy during peak times. Also, there are no free shuttle buses to or from the airport or the TurboJet terminal, which would have made arrivals and departures more convenient. Overall, Hotel Sintra offers excellent value thanks to its unbeatable location and warm service. With a bit of updating, it could easily be a five‑star experience.

We got upgraded to Junior Suite (not sure what's the name in trip.com maybe deluxe twin suite with a double bed and a twin bed Overall good in terms of price and size due to the upgrade! Here are some remarks: Bathtub water out is very quick, sufficient toilet stuff. However, the second toilet without bathtub is VERY LOUD all the time (make water noises?) which kinds of disrupts sleeping even if the door is closed. The aircon blowing towards the twin bed and single-person is very cold if I want to sit there About the swimming pool, U MUST WEAR SWIMMING WEAR INCLUDING **SWIMMING HAT** TO SWIM, I didnt know that so we paid MOP$66 for one at the reception. Showers and changing room are inside the swimming pool area and good hair products and hair dryer is provided!! About the lobby, there are not many seats provided and the lobby toilet can be smoky. Luggage storage is free!

I booked a twin room with breakfast. Pros: 1. Check in was quick and easy, had to pay $300 deposit, 2. The room was big and spacious, 3. Shower room was nice and modern, 4. Beds were large single so could fit my wife, child and myself pretty comfortably, 4. AC was good. Cons: 1. Sound insulation between the shower room and bedroom is essentially non existence, especially when someone flushes 2. Water leaking from shower to bedroom 3. Check out was pretty slow, maybe due to a large crowd checking out at a time as they had to specifically check each room for beverage consumption.

Upon entering the room, it smelled damp and moldy. This was the main concern that I had. However when I turned the AC off that smell and feel eventually went away. Overall it was an decent stay, good location, but nothing else much to write about.
