南九州一の繁華街天文館に位置するビジネスホテルですが、「レム」を名乗るだけのことはあって、目覚まし時計で起こされるまで寝たという、私には珍しいほどよく眠れました。市電やバスが直ぐ前の道を走っているのですが、騒音も全く気になりませんでした。 １泊朝食付きでしたので館内のタリーズでいただきましたが、なかなかよくまとまった充実したものでした。ホットドッグ・パンケーキ・トーストからチョイスできました。

My wife and I really loved the Onsen with a view of Sakurajima as published. Onsen cleanliness was good too. Buffet breakfast was so complete with both Japanese and western style. Free shuttle is quite frequent although still took some time to get to town nonetheless. But overall we loved our stay!

Hotel can be accessed directly from the JR underpass, towards basement of hotel building. Tram station conveniently located in front of hotel. Hotel faces JR Station. Room is cozy with plenty of wall sockets. Good value for money. Room had lovely view of Mt Sakurajima.

100% convenient. You can reached via shinkasen on the last train and not worry about to catch the last bus or walk on quiet road to hotel. The hotel entrance is the same level on the exit JR platform. From the photo of entrance and exit of family mart , left is the hotel right is the JR. Less than 5 minutes from hotel check in counter to JR. Room is cleaned. I love the availability of 3 choices of bath salt. Self service.. just scoop the number of salt you want. Room is quiet and no sojnd from the JR or road. Only the breakfast is not muslim friendly. The room is not small. Just nice. Happy to stay and strongly recommend.

Superb location with shopping (Uniqlo, GU, ABC mart to name a few) and food (Mos Burger) located nearby. Clear view of Sakurajima, everyone enjoyed the stay!

Hotel Kyocera is probably one of the largest hotel in Kirishima. It has two buildings ( main and annex) and looks quite good architecturally. They are connected by a bridge on the 3 floor which has the walking escalator- and a display of the various places that have been listed as world heritage sites in Japan. Inside the main building, there is a glass church which is ideal for weddings. In the basement, there is a large onsen, and spa. It is certainly a good place for having a holiday. The overall condition of the rooms are good- and the rooms are of good size. My room faces the East and has a perfect view of sunrise! Incredible view out of our room! It was visible that the hotel is a bit old, however the room was very clean. Nonetheless, I cannot recommend going for a swim.. Close by there is a great area to go for a run. The Parking Lot was next to the hotel and costs 1000 Yen for 24 hours. Had a pleasant stay. Thanks a lot

Excellent service and location. Only downfall was the size of the bed, the small double really was a SMALL double. Very uncomfortable for a few nights.

海沿いの広大な敷地にゆったり配置された様子に惹かれてHPより予約。 夕方のチェックインでしたのでロビーは混雑して列ができていましたが サーバーのお茶やお水があり、とても喉が渇いていたので 案内待機時間に頂け助かりました。 離宮は廊下から旅館らしい落ち着いた雰囲気が漂い 入室したお部屋は噂にたがわず高級感あり、部屋の広さは十分、 窓からの松林越しに広がるオーシャンビューは宿泊時生憎の曇り空でも 十分満足できる景色で、ベランダに出て眺めることも可能です。 （但しベランダの位置が低く出た時に転びそうになりましたのでご注意を） 床の間に飾られたカサブランカの生花は見栄えがして素敵なのですが香りが強いので、 夫は苦手として和室にあまり近寄りませんでした。（下げてもらおうかと思いましたが そこまでしなくてよいとのことでしたので） 内風呂は予想よりもしっかりとした造りで、洗面台に置かれた雪肌精の化粧水は 女性にはとても嬉しいサービスです。 朝は新聞も頂けました。 ただどこの宿泊場所でも起こりうることですが夜ベッドで寝ていると、 上の階で子供が走り回る音や隣室で人が集まって大声で話す声が聞こえました。 幸いなことに23時以降は静かになりましたので良かったです。 普通の話し声なら隣室には聞こえないと思いますが これから宿泊する方はお互い気をつけられた方が好ましいと思います。 期待のお風呂は離宮からは近く内部は大変広く、お湯も長く浸かれる温度設定でしたが 温泉というよりは銭湯の大浴場のような感じがしました。 ちなみに夫によりますと男性露天風呂は明るい時間帯での利用は お控えされたほうが賢明とのことです。 お料理は森伊蔵1杯付黒豚しゃぶしゃぶをお願いしました。 掘りごたつ式で大人8人で使用できるような角のスペースにて ゆったりとお食事頂きました。 内容も大変豊富で食べきれないほど、 メインの豚肉は東京なら2～3人前はあろうかと思う量で大満足。 翌朝の和食もバイキングではないのでお膳で落ち着いてゆっくり頂け、 帰り際にコーヒーのテイクアウトもできました。 館内はとても広くゆったりとした造りで大勢の宿泊客がいるはずなのに 窮屈さを感じさせずのんびり過ごすことが出来ました。 おかげさまでとても気分よく滞在させて頂きました。 また指宿訪問の際はお伺いしたいと思います。 お世話になり有難うございました。

Love the private outdoor bath on the balcony! The food was good. We had both Western and Japanese dinners, but I'd go for the Japanese set if we only had one day. Breakfast was plentiful. Parking was easy. The room looked a little aged, but it was clean and well maintained.

There has air conditioner which was cool enough , good! only the drawback is some far away to take 20 minutes to JR station but very near the walking street. Bath room a bit of narrow. Appreciated even though medium size hotel but it has car packing lot itself ( located on the hotel's back street with staff to assist you ), so great indeed !

地図ではわかりずらいですが電車通りに面しており、立地良好です。市電の高見橋電停そばで、JR鹿児島中央駅までも徒歩数分です。辺りにはイオンや飲食店も多く便利な立地です。 ホテル室内はリノベーションされておりとても綺麗です。客室の備品やアメニティ類も充実しています。 男性のみですが、地下に大浴場があります。朝食も種類があり、十分満足できます。 ツインに一泊しましたが、朝食付のプランでコストパフォーマンス抜群でした。

I stayed 2 nights at thesunflex. The location is excellent with decent sized rooms and our deal included breakfast You can choose from 3 types. You will have to pay for parking i believe tobe 900 yen.not far from the hotel is an excellent bakery called sumomo whichhas tasty products which are 110 to 160 yen so fantastic prices. The staff are excellent and very helpful. Easy walk to the sakurajima ferry and many bars and restaurants within walking distance.

Good value, staff is helpful, there’s a small area to walk up (10 mins) to see some really tall cedar trees. There are 5-6 types of onsen (iron, salt, sulphur) onsen with outdoor onsen to try. There are men and women mixed onsen where at certain period of time, only women is allowed in that area. Food is served individually on the table (not buffet) with local delicacies. As I need to take a bus the next day, they will stop you off at the bus station which is about 10 mins walk from the hotel

We stayed 3 nights in a lovely room with our own private onsen tub in the balcony. A sakura tree was still in bloom right outside so we woke up to a really pretty sight every morning. The room was well decorated and very spacious and there was a toilet, fridge and washbasin, but no in-room shower. We had an outdoor shower which was by the tub which was fine, as it wasn't too cold when we were there. The dinners and breakfast that came with the package were excellent and sumptuous. The riverside onsen was really lovely - you will need to make a booking as it's a private area with 2 pools, overlooking the river that runs right next to it. Take note that it's downhill so there is a bit of a walk to and from the riverside onsen. The hotel is not too far from the Kagoshima airport but about an hour and a half away from the city. Several places of interest are nearby and just a short drive away, including the Kirishima shrine, open air art museum and there's also a waterfall about 5 minutes away. Service staff were friendly and helpful, even though they didn't speak much English.

This hotel is situated on top of a hill. We were warmly greeted with help to move the luggage . Check in was fast and efficient . The room came with twin hard beds that we slept on so soundly . Room was big , wifi adequate. There was an attached bathroom though the bathtub was quite deep in . The highlight of the stay was the private onsen situated in the middle of the forest . What an amazing experience . We could not get the day slots so we were given the night slots at 730 pm . Do book early . The management will liase with you via email to book the onsens . Dinner was kaiseiki - lovely food with hotpot for vegetables . Breakfast was Japanese adequate . Overall a wonderful stay .

I stayed with wife at this highly disappointing hotel after flying into kagoshima. They say on their website free parking if available They do not tell you thete are only 5 or 6 free spots then you have to pay for parking next door which will cost at least 700 yen The young man at the desk was not helpful after I asked about where to park the car with their free parking The room was supposed to be a twin but was extremelysmall and the beds were very hard The shower pressure was non existant and made a sound like a mosquito

スタッフが親切に対応してくれました。 郊外型のゲストハウスではありますが、オシャレで清潔感があります。 レストランが併設されていて、イベントで使用されるゲストも多いようでした。

さくらさくら温泉は、鹿児島県霧島市霧島田口（かごしまけんきりしましきりしまたぐち）にあるホテルだ。天然泥温泉が特徴になっている。 2021年11月14日、この日は霧島神宮（きりしまじんぐう）に参拝した。 そこから車で、さくらさくら温泉にやってきた。駐車場はとても広い。この日宿泊する本館に到着。内部はこんな感じ。チェックインは母屋で済ませて、ここに移動してくるシステム。 部屋は2階なのだが、なんとエレベーターがないという(汗；)荷物が多い我々には、つらい状況だ・・・新型コロナウイルスのせいで、係員は手伝ってくれないので年寄りには大変だ。この日は、213号室に宿泊。8畳の和室だ。窓からの景色は、こんな感じ。設備は冷蔵庫と湯沸かし器。テレビとクローゼット。洗面台。トイレは温水便座。 さっそく温泉に入ってきた。ここは天然泥温泉が特徴になっていて、泥パックがあった。さらに美しくなってしまいました（笑）ツルツルでしょ。夕食会場に向かう。温泉も夕食会場もいちいち母屋に行かないといけないのが、かなり面倒。雨とか冬の寒い日とかは、つらそうだ。ライトアップはキレイだ。夕食会場に到着。鍋料理だ。豚しゃぶだという。鶏のつみれ。黒豚だそうだ。その他にも刺身などが来た。もちろんビールも（笑）締めのフルーツ。 翌朝、ふたたび母屋に移動。朝食会場に向かう。この日は肌寒い。結局、母屋まで5往復だ(汗；)夕食と同じ場所で朝食をいただく。バイキング形式で納豆などをチョイスできるシステム。これで13,000円は、ちょっと高めかな。チェックアウトし、車で先に進んだ。

位置很好，就在霧島溫泉市場旁邊。 早餐很豐盛，房間不大，夠用，榻榻米房間，進門時店家已經把床鋪鋪好了。 屋裡有衛生間，但是淋浴就要去樓下的溫泉了。 樓外還有兩個室外的溫泉，都是自己拿鑰匙去，可以幾個好友一起去，這樣其他人也不會進來了。

We were blown away when we last visited Myoken Ishiharaso, but somehow, our stay last week was even more magical. From the enchanting settings to the Onsen quality to the incredible kaiseki cuisine to the professional, friendly and attentive staff, this is genuinely one of the iconic Onsen ryokans in all of Japan. One nice bonus - location wise, it's a mere 15 minutes by taxi from Kagoshima Airport, which is served by four domestic carriers and is a mere 2-hour flight from Tokyo Haneda or an even shorter 75 minute flight from Osaka Itami. Yes, you can easily do an overnight trip to Ishiharaso - just make sure to get there by 2PM (check-in time is an hour earlier than most ryokans), as you'll definitely want to maximize your time there. The thing we learned on our second trip had to do with the Onsen quality. We already knew that the hot springs at the property came straight from the nearby source, all baths were free-flowing (and overflowing), the overflow onsen were discharged and never recirculated. While it's not uncommon to have ryokans offer such quality, many of the high-end properties do provide it, and even in the rooms, like Ishiharaso does. But the goodness does not stop there. While many places call their onsen ”authentic,” Ishiharaso takes things a bit further: the precious hot springs nutrients are never diluted by adding tap water (which is often the case as a means to cool down the hot springs), have no exposure to air/oxygen until it runs into the bath, Alfa Laval (a French company) heat exchangers are used to control the temperature - it is a system that takes only thermal energy using mountain water. For these reasons and more, the onsen is distributed as it is from the source without being in contact with the air or adding a single drop of water to the hot springs. It's pure goodness at Myoken Ishiharaso. Also, the size of the bathtubs everywhere - in the rooms, in the communal baths and the rental baths (that can be rented privately by guests staying at the ryokan) - are determined based on the advise from experts based on the principle of one turn per hour - in order to meet hygiene standards for bathtubs. In other words, a bathtub that fills up in an hour is ideal. If you make a bathtub bigger than that, you will need to dilute it with water, circulate the water, and chlorinate it. Therefore, the size of the each of the onsen baths at Ishiharaso was decided according to the amount of onsen it can pipe into each bath. Finally - the in-room onsen are drained, meticulously scrubbed clean, and then refilled after each group of guests depart each room. They do the same daily for the communal and rental onsen baths as well. Myoken Ishiharaso's hot springs are called ”Bijin no Yu” (spring of beauty) thanks to bicarbonate spring (hydrogen carbonate and carbon dioxide) and metasilicic acid (a form of silicon dioxide, aka silica.) I write this in the midst of the great pandemic of 2019-2022 ? I was fortunate enough to squeeze through the stringent Covid protocols to enter Japan for a brief period of time during December of the year 2021. I had always wanted to see Southern Kyushu, and so we were looking for a centrally located place on the southern peninsula. The Iwasaki Hotel looked fantastic on the brochures and website but was at a much lower price point than the more opulent Ibusuki Hakusuikan. We booked a triple room on the 5th floor of this curvy retro futuristic behemoth and settled in to its aging but comfortable rooms. Looking more like a hotel befitting the coast of Kā‘anapali, there is definitely a Hawaiian vibe to the meticulous tropical landscaping and room appointments. Devoid of tourists, the emptiness of this vast hotel was a little spooky. In its heyday one could imagine hordes of happy Japanese vacationers taking in the endless venues for activities like black sand “bathing” golfing, huge natural looking pools surrounded by tropical foliage and a HUGE arcade of noisy, brilliantly lit games of every sort and color. There is a virtual shopping mall in the basement with locally produced omiage and clothing shops to suit any taste in fashion. There is even a full sized bowling alley ! The weird part was that despite every shop being fully staffed, there were absolutely no customers. Each time we would walk by, the staff looked eager even if we took a passing interest in their wares. I almost felt sorry that I couldn’t load up my suitcase with useless trinkets just to give them a sale. The vast dining room was beautiful. With a extensive wall of windows facing the sea, the views were spectacular and the staff very attentive to our every need. We had a very nice yaki niku dinner with a wide assortment of Kobe beef and seafood. The Kirin Ichiban was icy cold. Sure this place is showing it’s age. I’m not sure how long they will be able to stay in existence without a serious influx of money and tourists, but it was a very interesting time capsule of Japan’s opulent heyday of excess. It’s definitely worth a stay unless you’re fearful of long dark hallways of empty rooms, rusting spiral staircases, and spookily silent bowling alleys. PLEASE go visit this place. The grounds are gorgeous, the staff are attentive and the rooms are clean with beautiful views toward the sea. This place won’t be around for long unless YOU come to visit !

指宿到着予定時間が、夕方だったので、町営の砂風呂が閉まってしまうかも⁉️と、思い、ホテル内に砂風呂を併設しているこのホテルを選びました。 サザエさんのオープニングのように、海の景色を見ながら砂風呂❣️と、思っていましたが、意外と視線は、真上😅目の前は、夜の海で真っ暗。砂風呂をゆっくり堪能しました💖 コロナ禍で夕食も空き部屋だったり、レストランだったり細かく割振りされていて、ホテル側の苦労が偲ばれます。 翌朝、5階の展望風呂で、御来光🌄をゆっくり眺めながらの入浴♨️で、少々湯当たりしました😅 砂風呂に入る前に更衣室で着替えるのですが、区切られていたパーティションの向こうは、室内プール❣️九州に住んでいたら、夏に海・プールと温泉。家族でなんでも楽しめるし、リーズナブルな価格だったから、何回も来てただろうなぁ〜と、思いを馳せました。

今回初めて利用させてもらいましたー 従業員皆さんも良くて満足でしたー 砂風呂までの移動が少し時間かかりますか、身体の芯まで温まって最高でした また行きたいです

Stayed 1 night. The hotel is located at the end of a residential street on a low hill with a magnificent view of the beach. This is an old hotel but has been well managed. Everyone we met were hospitable and polite. The hotel had an inhouse onsen which was very clean albeit small. Dinner comprised Keyseiki and breakfast was a wonderful set served on a tray. I stayed in a Japanese style room. Beds comfy, strong WiFi and aircon was good. No complaints.

初めての鹿児島指宿旅行でこちらを選びました。 ●ホテル・部屋 ホテル敷地が広大です。ホテル自体もですが駐車場もかなり広いです。ゴルフ場があるのでしょうか？ 団体受入れ用にはもってこいのホテルです。実際、私が泊まった時もどこかの修学旅行生が泊まるため貸し切りのような張り紙がありました。 ホテルは全室海が見えるように造られているので、窓からは海と背高い南国の木、下を見下ろせば海沿いを走る指宿枕崎線が見えます。海沿いを走る電車とヤシの木のコントラストは見慣れないので不思議な感じがしました。宿泊した時は10月でしたが、天気が悪く、海も大荒れでした｡天気がよければ部屋からすごい絶景が見れたのにと思うとすごく惜しい気持ちになりました。 部屋は和室でしたが、畳が古く年季が入っています。部屋の扉、お風呂とトイレも掃除がきちんとされており、綺麗ではあるものの昭和感がプンプンしました。 ●食事 食事会場は朝夕、大広間でした｡足の悪い人にも優しい低座椅子なのでとても楽でした。夕食は鹿児島の郷土料理がいろいろ出てくるので結構凝っていると思います。熱燗の芋焼酎をこちらで初めて飲んでしばらくはまりました。配膳係の従業員が鹿児島独特のイントネーションで料理の説明をしてくれるのでああ、鹿児島に来たんだなあとしみじみ思わせてくれました｡配膳係の人は皆地元の人でしょうか、感じのいい接客をしてくれます。 ●風呂 部屋から大浴場まで何百m歩くの？というぐらい離れています。 大浴場はだだっ広いです。脱衣所もお風呂も｡露天風呂は屋根も岩で南国の木に囲まれているのでジャングル風呂のような、植物園のような雰囲気でした。雨が降っていたのですが、南国の10月とは言えど露天風呂は寒かったです。露天風呂の奥に砂蒸し風呂施設がありました。ホテル外の砂蒸し風呂体験をしたのでホテルではやりませんでしたがホテル内で砂蒸し風呂も体験できるようです。 お安く泊まれたし、料理も美味しかったのですが、部屋の古さがどうしても気になってしまいました。私の中では南国離島の一昔前のホテルというイメージです。評価は☆3.3ぐらいです。

We came to experience the hot sand bath they have here. The hotel was terrific, we were on the top floor in a huge room with a full room length window looking at the ocean, it was quite stunning. Two huge beds and lovely lounge chairs to sit and take in the view, it was nice to see ships going by. Wifi worked well, we had dinner and breakfast in a dining room also looking out at the ocean, it was smorgasbord style, eat as much as you want, the food was lovely and fresh all very tasty. The main reason for the trip here was to experience the hot sand bath, this was a first for us. Basically they give you special clothes to wear , dig a hole in the sand, lay you in it then cover you with the Hot sand, only your face is exposed. Quite hot, very relaxing and comfortable, the longer you stay there the hotter you become, 15 minutes is the recommended time, we did a few minutes more it was Soo nice. It was a long way to go for the experience but well worth it, if you get a chance do it. The whole package at this hotel was lovely. Highly Recommend

すべてにおいて細かやな配慮が感じられ、素晴らしいお宿でした。何よりお食事がとてもおいしく、今回の旅行が素晴らしいものとなった一因でもありました。担当の中居さんの笑顔も素敵で、チェックアウトの際には駐車場まで見送っていただき、車が見えなくなるまで手を振っていただきました。娘二人がまだ幼いころ住んでいた鹿児島を二人の結婚を機に再訪し、思い出を再確認する旅でしたが、こちらのお宿のおかげでまた思い出が一つ増え、素晴らしい旅となりました。お食事をする部屋も娘の名前にちなんで選んでくださり(めずらしい名前なのでたぶんご配慮いただいたものと思います)感動しました。旅行が好きでいままで多くの宿泊施設に泊まりましたが、上位３本の指に入ると思います。機会があればまた訪れたいお宿でした。

ホテルの施設等は年季が入っていましたが、感動した事は部屋からの景色です。目の前には錦江湾が一望でき、朝日が昇ってくる様子が目の前でみえる事に感動しました。また砂風呂の施設が１階の大浴場の隣にありますので、砂風呂用の着替えを済ませ、タオルを首辺りに撒いて入浴しました。思っていたよりも砂が重く、十数分我慢するのがやっとの思いでした。入浴後は隣の大浴場でシャワーを浴びた後に入浴できるので有難かったですね。良い経験をする事が出来満足しました。

以前は「コーラルビーチホテル」という名前だったようですが、現在は「ホテル翔月」になっています。名前の変更はホテルの前の護岸工事のせいなのでしょうか？今回はJTBのツアーで宿泊しました。3名での参加だったのですが、ツインルームにエキストラベットと思っていましたが、角部屋にあるツインベットのある洋間と和室のある広い部屋にしていただきました。通常のツインルームの2倍以上の広さがあるのでとても快適でした。部屋からの眺めはバルコニーの全面に鹿児島湾が広がりますが、目の前の海岸は護岸工事中なのが多少気になりました。早朝には美しい夜明けの風景が広がるので、天気が良ければ早起きは必須だと思います。指宿温泉と言えば砂風呂が有名ですが、このホテルにはその設備が無いので、20分おきに出るホテルの送迎バスに乗って近くの「砂楽（さらく）」という市営の砂むし風呂に行くことになりますが、これも又面白い経験です。夕食はホテルの宴会場で同じツアーの方と一緒ですが、テーブルはグループごとでテーブルの距離は話しかけられないほど離れています。料理もおいしくて十分な量がありましたが、追加できびなごの天麩羅や刺身、カツオのたたきなども注文できます。どれも美味しいし800円程度で地元の味が楽しめるのはありがたいです。指宿の焼酎も置かれているので鹿児島を満喫できました。朝食も同じ会場でしたが、女将さんが挨拶に来られて丁寧なホテルだなと思いました。ホテルの温泉はナトリウム泉で大浴場も広くて快適でした。小規模のホテルなので混雑することも無いのが良かったです。
