Hotel 3-Star di West Sumatra, Indonesia

I was very disappointed. I booked a room for my parents and grandchildren. I booked a room which is written 24m2 with balcony. I had stayed there before, that's why I know it's supposed to be spacious room. But they only get small room 17m2 not as mention in the details just because of the name not ”grand deluxe” but I paid more than ”deluxe price”. The same price with the published rate for ”grand deluxe” directly in the hotel. And there is no ”grand deluxe” In the room choices in Trip. They can't ask for extrabed because there's no space. And also when 1 adult with 2 kids having breakfast they still ask for extra fee. I know this rule but i just felt not fair to pay after overpriced for the disappointing room

Very unique accommodation but it's quite far from the parking area to the receptionist counter which around 200meter. I need to carry my own luggage from the parking area. No hotel staff entertained or welcome me. This hotel not suitable if you travel with old folks. Some of the architecture was run down. The top room not suitable for many people as the ladder very stiff.

We had a pleasant experience overall. The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient to explore the surrounding attractions and enjoy the charm of Bukittinggi. The cleanliness of the hotel was well maintained, and the rooms were comfortable and welcoming. One of the highlights of our stay was the breathtaking mountain view, which created a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, especially in the mornings. I would definitely consider staying here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with beautiful scenery in Bukittinggi.

The hotel is near to Jam Gadang. About 5 minutes of walking, Breakfast is OK. Service is great. The rooms are clean but a bit dated. A bit of climbing the stairs to get to the reception area.

It’s just interesting to stay in the old Dutch building, which is a historical building in the centre of the town. If you’re interested in the topic of UNESCO, that’s a must place to visit around Padang area. The hotel itself is just fine. It has nice cafeteria outside where they serve breakfast and you can eat at other times. The biggest issue that I had was sounds coming from outside, the road, and then early morning siren calling for pray. But that’s part of the experience and I was during Ramadan.

Very friendly service, strategic location, spacious parking, clean room, quite big, there is a balcony, just staying this time, no toothbrush and toothpaste, if you can come in front, there is always a toothbrush and toothpaste

The foods of breakfast must be improved...the chicken was overcooked and hard...the coffee only has sugar...no creamer or brown sugar as optional...pastries are perfect and yummy...

The location is excellent very close to the beach, just right in front of the hotel. The room truly matches the price of a 4-star hotel..What I loved most was the pillow..it was very comfortable and softer compared to other 4-star hotels I’ve stayed at.. Just one criticism Trip.com should double-check with the hotel in the future about the actual check-in time at Ocean Beach Hotel Padang. That said, the Trip.com staff were very helpful in handling the confusion

This hotel is so-so with enough size of bathroom. The only one shocked me is when I need to wait as waiting list for check-in by leaving my ID and booking to receptionist then sit on the waiting area, this even happening on check-out. The coridor is ”smokey” stink. May be guests allowed to smoke here, but this is very disturbing for me and family that asked for non-smoking room. Other than this, everything is just good.
