I had an excellent experience at a&o Hostel Firenze Campo di Marte. The place was very clean and well-maintained, making it comfortable throughout my stay. The location is perfect, close to transport links and easy to reach main attractions. The staff were friendly and always ready to assist, which made the service outstanding. Amenities were also excellent, providing everything needed for a convenient and enjoyable stay. Highly recommended for solo travelers visiting Florence.

The location is excellent. It's just a 10-minute walk from the train station, and most attractions are within easy walking distance. I stayed in a 6-bed female dorm room, which was quite spacious and had two bathrooms.

- Easily accessible by car
- Very strategic location for tourism, just 100 meters from the tram stop that takes you directly to the city center in just a few minutes
- Excellent telephone communication with the property manager
- The woman who welcomed us (Barbara) was very attentive and punctual to our scheduled appointments
- I would say, therefore, that there is nothing to complain about for those of us who wanted to spend three days visiting the wonders of Florence; it was an excellent base camp for us.

It's winter now, but it's usually cold at dawn because it only turns on the heater in the evening, but it was really warm because it turned on in the evening and turned on the heater again when it was cold at dawn. When I arrived at the hostel, I wanted to drink hot water, so I needed a coffee pot, so I brought it right away, so I could eat really warm water well, and the bathroom was clean.
It was located right away from Pisa Central Station and the bus to Pisa's Leaning Tower was right across the street, so I was able to go comfortably.

I rarely write reviews, but I simply *had* to this time! After checking out, I discovered my car wouldn't start – I'd foolishly left something on and completely drained the battery. Within just 5 minutes, the amazing ladies at the front desk found the incredibly resourceful Alessio for me. He first brought a battery charger, but when he realized it couldn't reach, he immediately drove another car over to use its battery to jump-start mine. The entire process was completed within 10 minutes, and it was absolutely free! So, a huge shout-out to [Hotel Name] for such outstanding service, big thanks to the front desk team (both the ladies and gentlemen), and a special, massive thank you to Alessio!

The room was beautiful, full of fragrance, especially clean and bright. Although the hotel staff did not speak English, they patiently used translation software to talk to us. The communication was also very pleasant. The unexpected discovery of the room also had a small balcony, as well as a yard and swing. It was very suitable for enjoying the journey.

The place is squeaky clean. Thoughtful and friendly owner who provided us with loads of information when we arrived. The shared bathroom is huge, bright and spotless. Hair dryer, mouth wash, tooth paste, cotton ear buds etc you name it are all provided. However the shower cubicle is quite small. Conveniently located within 10 minutes walking distance between the airport and railway station. City centre is about half an hour walk away. The room is air-conditioned. All in all a very nice place. I would recommend it.

It should be an ancient building for a while, and the landlord’s own house uses the upper floor as a hotel. There are not many rooms, full of retro style. The facilities are old, the street is a bit noisy, and everything else is fine. The landlord is enthusiastic to help with luggage. It is good to drink tea in the small garden.

Я останавливалась на три ночи .Пешком до Санта Мария Новелла минут 20.Хозяева приятные люди ,встретили ,все рассказали .Завтрак был включен в стоимость ,вкусно .Кофе 👌Но общий душ и санузел ,имейте в виду.Я вставала рано утром ,в 7.00 примерно ,проблем не заметила.Wi-Fi тоже порадовал и большой новый телевизор (поддерживает видео с телефона).Выдали тапочки ,халат и полотенца .Под фен розетки подошли .Благодарю за гостеприимство.

AAliizaiiinI guess im lucky to book this one on florence, the location is just 10 mnts from s.m novella station, very calm at night, clean room & bathroom also they have a bidet is a plus. the one thing important to me is they have swimming pool and sauna cause i came there its so cold. Trust me you spend your money at the right place

TThe.snacking.gypsyI had actually stayed at a different safety property in Naples and thought this was the same one and thus booked it but to my rather surprise this was nothing like that.
While the staff were really nice and quickly helped me with checking in and the rooms were not too small I felt like the bathroom was from a different dimension altogether as the shower cubicle was so small that while I was making my way out of it I hurt my back really badly And it was very painful to imagine the same happening to anyone else and that’s too on holiday also when I just opened the shower which was fixed overhead little bit of brown water seem to come out from it and I do not know what that was all about but it was rather disappointing however There was lockers in the room and quite a peaceful stay as well so I guess it’s fine for a night, but if only they had the day not so much behind the door that it is positioned in a very weird manner maybe it could have been better and also the flush was not working properly.

GGabuPlace is beyond.. beautiful old convent. Room is large, confy bed, powerful hot shower. Kitchen and common area is huge and beyond just functional.
Loved it.
PS I am not selfie, photo ******. Regretted not taking pictures as it is really beautiful.

The sin is mainly about the services, almost absent and a problem found in our room: because after the shower the bathroom, having no window, began to spark a very unpleasant smell by forceing to breathe The room was opened (not the maximum, not the temperature of the best).

FFionFionIt was a very pleasant stay, although I didn't get to spend much time in the hotel as I was just in Florence for one night, breakfast was nice with variety of choices, staff were friendly and can speak English, room was clean, AC was working perfectly, everything including the duomo was in walkable distance (only like 10 mins walk to the duomo).
I had to leave the room key to the reception everytime
I leave the hotel which felt a bit strange at first, however apparently this is a norm there as my brothers who were staying at another hotel at the time had to do the same as well.
Last but not least, you can have a fantastic view of the city at rooftop of hotel, especially nice to see the sunrise!
Will definitely stay here again, highly recommended!

JJangusFirst of all, unbeatable price and location. It’s about a 10-minute walk from the Firenze Santa Maria Novella station. I was greeted by a lovely receptionist who showed me the amenities and to my room. On the next day, there was another receptionist who was equally as helpful. She took the initiative to recommend as many sights, food, and even the oldest pharmacy in the world (circa 1221). I have attached what she highlighted to me.
If you’re a no-frills traveler who needs a convenient and comfortable place to stay, this is what you’ll be looking for.
One tip when locating the hostel, don’t expect a large sign; instead it has a nondescript door with other tenants on other floors.

GGuest UserHello everyone. The room matches the photo, I arrived alone and they put me in a room where there was no one else, which was very comfortable. I arrived before the check-in time and they met me halfway and checked me in earlier, which is also a plus. There is a gym on the territory, it is included in the price of accommodation, but there are not many exercise machines, which is understandable because it is not a professional gym) The room itself is very spacious, the rooms are cleaned by a maid. I would also like to mention the administrator Karla. The girl is very kind and does her job well, it was pleasant to talk to her. I will come back again if such an opportunity arises.
