Great stay if you are looking for a convenient location for public transit and clean amenities. Access to plenty of konbinis, cheap eats and shopping streets as well. The lockers were compact which made it challenging during our 5 night stay. Hope they will consider a packing stall area to make it easier when repacking. Also recommend a laundromat close by (Fuwafuwarando Omachiten Coin Laundry).
This place is a rustic ryokan with stories. While it is not luxurious ryokan, but I had great experiences. Room is rather small but that’s all we needed. There are public bath and private baths available. I enjoyed using public bath.
Dinner and breakfast were good. Not overwhelming but very tasty.
Staffs were nice and very attentive. At the last day, grandma came and greeted us during departure. The ryokan also offered to drop us off at the train station.
Cleanliness wise it’s very good and service is helpful! Price point is also very good if you are limited. But location wise, it’s 30 minutes away from sendai station, making it time consuming in just travelling to the city center. Many abandoned buildings and lack of lights in the location during the night as well.
There a was small earthquake in sendai during my stay and I can truly fill the shake, despite the small magnitude. Maybe because the building is quite old.
I had a wonderful stay at Ryokan Tsukasa in Sendai. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel at home right away. My room was beautifully designed in the style of a traditional Japanese house, and I had the unique experience of sleeping on the floor like a true Japanese. I also loved wearing the traditional robe provided in the room — it added an authentic touch to the stay. Everything was perfect, and I would highly recommend this ryokan to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience in Sendai!

KkaruizawaThe room is still relatively large, quiet and comfortable, the mirror on the wall is very chic, impressive, like the sauce soup for breakfast, typical Japanese ^_^
TTAI HONHotel location away from the train station is suitable for self-driving passengers, the room size is small, the health is OK, there is a parking lot downstairs but there are fewer parking spaces to park far away.
GGuest UserThe place is walkable distance from train station. Accessible food places and 7-11 store. Ishinomaki is quiet and cosy area to stay in. Morning breakfast is nice and check in and out is easy.

PPornthida Tansiri JohnsonNice traditional Japanese hotel. The room was conveniently located on the first floor.
The only things to keep in mind there as a foreigner (very broken English at best). Using a translation device or app in your phone is essential for communication. The room we stayed did not have a private shower. If a shower is needed it will be in a communal shower area. The room does have a toilet and sink though.
SSakusakkuuuThe locker was spacious enough to fit my medium-sized suitcase and a decent-sized backpack with room to spare. It was also tall enough to hang a long coat, which was a great help. The shower room, toilet, and capsule itself were all very clean. Just a short walk away, there's a shopping arcade, a park, and a famous kamaboko (fish cake) shop.
AAnonymous Userquite dated hotel, a lot of things are quite old/dated/worn, location is ok, <10min walk from station, convenience stores nearby, 10min walk to the ferry and eating places. mostly clean and neat, amenities available. for price, not bad.
walls are quite thin, so you hear next door noises. Shower water temp tends to be slightly not too stable.
no electric outlets near bed, not convenient
