Hotel 2-Star di Braga District, Portugal

On Trip.com one of the amenities listed for this room is a bathroom. All rooms over some sort of bathroom, no hostel will not give access to a bathroom. So when you list it as an amenity it usually means it is attached to the room. Nowhere in the description did it say this was a shared bathroom and the photos make it look like its part of the room offering. When I arrived I learned it was shared. I also had a strange noise in my room and called the number given and was told someone would come check with me the next day but nothing happened and no one contacted me again. The room was generally clean, not as nice as it looks in the photos, with a strong smell, but not a bad one just strong, and the walls are really thin so you can hear the TV and talking from the neighbor. Overall it was fine but not at all what I was expecting based on how it was presented on Trip.com.

I found there weren't enough bath towels for two people, and the breakfast wasn't great, but otherwise it was perfect. I would gladly return.

Great hotel near the station. Small room, but has everything you need. Cons - uncomfortable pillows, there were 4 to choose from and all with lumps inside. There is a restaurant on the first floor, you can see the menu in the elevator, very good and relatively inexpensive.

Très bel hôtel bien situé au cœur historique de Guimarães. Il manquait juste un petit réfrigérateur dans notre chambre. Accueil parfait.

We were very well received at the reception by Bárbara and had dinner in the restaurant where Mr. António showed a lot of friendliness and kindness. At the end of our stay we had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Adelaide, a very friendly and welcoming lady. When we go to Gerês we already know where to stay.

O hotel é limpo e o café da manhã é simples, mas é bom. O quarto era silencioso, porém tinha cheiro desagradável de cigarro. Eu reservei um quarto de não fumador, Conversei com a atendente e não tinha mais quartos disponíveis para a troca na primeira noite, porém na noite poderiam fazer a troca. Acabei por não trocar porque só iria ficar mais uma noite.

Location near a noisy route, the doors of all the neighboring rooms are very noisy, constantly waking up from noise. The room is clean, but not comfortable. No fan. A comfortable bed, but it was impossible to sleep because the windows were coming out of the road.

In general, I found the accommodation very good, it's easy to get by car, it's a way to the beach of the Quinta da Portelada, the way is quiet and very beautiful. In relation to the structure of the accommodation, we (I, husband and friend) were in a room with 2 belts, were cottage beds, comfortable, available bedroom, coat, edredom, face towel and body. The negative point is that beds do not have gardens to make it private, as we only stay among friends was not a problem, but if people who are unknown to you can divide the room, it may be a problem. The individual light of each bed disturbs the beach in the next door. The bathrooms were clean, the pressure of the showers was very good, and they have bath gel. The noise of others hosting in other rooms can disturb a lot. The breakfast was enough, if there were eggs, it would be perfect for me. The reception has cup noodles, and that's what saved our dinner 🤣 owns a garage. We are pleased with the service, with the overall structure. The location is very beautiful, with great views.
