Hotel 5-Star di Normandy, France

My friend and I are traveling around France for a couple of weeks. We picked this hotel based on reviews and price. It was a good location to drive to Omaha Beach and the surrounding area. We each had a room with a king size bed, a very large bathroom with a wonderful shower and separate large tub. Free Coffee, tea and water provided in the room and a small refrigerator with snacks and drinks available at a modest price. Beds were very comfortable and room temp was great. Very quiet location and free parking. The best thing was Julia, the front desk staff person. Extraordinary service and assistance with everything we needed including ordering Thai food from a local restaurant because the restaurant was closed on Sunday night and Monday night, the two nights we were there. She deserves a GIANT Thank You and a Gold Star! I would definitely stay there again if I ever return to France.

The biggest hotel in the town! Very beautiful. The rooms are provided with the unique design elements. It was just a lovely stay!

Nous avons séjourné deux nuits avec mon fiancé et tout a été parfait. Nous avons eu la chance d’être surclassés, une très belle attention. Le personnel est adorable, accueillant et toujours aux petits soins, on s’est sentis vraiment bien tout au long du séjour. Le spa est excellent pour se détendre et le terrain de tennis est un vrai plus. Un hôtel chaleureux, élégant et reposant, idéal pour un séjour en couple. Nous avons adoré et reviendrons sans hésiter.

En dehors d’être un hôtel merveilleux, il est merveilleusement entretenu et tenu par des merveilleuses personnes, on s’est occupé de nous d’une façon exceptionnelle et je peux vous dire que ce sont des personnes qui sont vraiment formées à leur métier comme il y en a existe rarement en France, cet hôtel mérite cinq étoiles

I don’t agree that this property can be listed as 5 star premium Location is excellent Room is 4 stars Amenities (sauna,steam room,pools…) are 3 stars Facilities are 3-4 stars

Encore un excellent séjour au Royal Barrière ! L’accueil à la réception est très professionnel et courtois, avec une attention particulière pour l'objet du séjour des clients. La piscine extérieure chauffée constitue un véritable atout avec une ambiance très paisible. La chambre Deluxe est spacieuse et dispose de toutes les commodités nécessaires.

The service was fine. The configuration of the room was not. The toilet was right next to the bed and the bathroom (sink, shower) was all the way down the hall. It was very unpleasant. However, the bed was very comfortable, the robe was very cosy and the Illy coffee capsules were excellent.

Amazing French Chateau Hotel situated in a peaceful and lovely countryside in Normandy.

We arrived at Pontorson station by train and planned to take a taxi, but there is no Uber here, and we were kindly welcomed. Everything was very hospitable and delicious, a wonderful place, I would recommend it to all my friends.
