Hotel 5-Star di Central Java, Indonesia

This is a beautiful property with clean well appointed rooms. The gym has good equipment and the pool is great. The only thing that I was not happy with is the hotel changed their policy about using the sauna and steam rooms. I have been visiting this hotel every year and this is the first time I was denied entry because I booked a superior room instead of a deluxe room. I believe this is a bad policy.

Amazing place. Very beautiful territory, the hotel has designer interior, comfortable rooms, helpful and hospitable staff. Delicious and varied food. Great view from the windows.

I love this hotel so much, the staff are amazing and helpfull, the bed and pillow are really comfy. The room accros mine at 10pm was open their talked loudly and i complained to front desk,and the staff immediately asked them to closed their doors so i can sleep, thank you ciputra hotel.. and the location also the best

Breakfast a la carte is very very nice, fresh fruit is also great The room is made up twice, very friendly staffs The location is amazing as you can see Borobudur from the Patio restaurant (where you will have breakfast) Amenity is truly lacking: no gym of its own, instead need to go to its sister hotel : Plataran Heritage, the shared gym is a dusty small room with one treadmill, one workout dumbbell set The spa also looks quiet old, we ended up going to another hotel for spa

Needs improvement in cleanliness. Sofa, beds and carpets were stained. Water pressure was low and also experienced disruption in water service due to maintenance. When water resumed, brown water flowed out of the shower head and sprayed directly at my body. Quite a lousy experience for that. On the good side, hotel offers a good spread for buffet breakfast.

Its a beautiful hotel with wonderful ameneties and room. The entire stay from check-in to check out went so smoothly, we didn't have to worry about anything after a long car trip! I also want to give a warm thank you to Kak Ida at front office who is so friendly and helpful when we were checking in. Had an incredible stay! Will be coming back here in the future.

I had booked and stayed for 2 nights with my wife and parents, everything (such as service, location, atmosphere, the condition of the room, etc…), we were very satisfied. So we have decided to prolong one more night, and we were very happy. Last year my wife, I, and my parents stayed at Tentrem in Jogjakarta, and we were satisfied. Last month my parents with my siblings also stayed there (Tentrem in Semarang) for their trip and they were satisfied as well. If I really have to put something a bit pity: - The ‘entrance’ of the basement parking is a bit small for the car - The air condition (the temperature) during the breakfast was a little bit hot. Beside those two, we were very satisfied 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Really breathtaking scenery, friendly and supportive staffs, tasty foods, and surrounded by natures...many good points they have. You can enjoy chill time there. Each room has bird's name in local language which is very cute. As the place is quite far from the city and the road is very narrow and bumping, if you easily get car sick, it's better to take medicine for that before head to there.

We had a nice experience staying at Grand Mercure Solo Baru! The location was perfect and reachable to all around the city. The room was really cozy. Cleanliness could be slightly improved as we could see signs of aging, including at the gym. But overall, we would come back!
