A beautiful hotel that's more or less right next to Shin-Yokohama station and within sight of Yokohama Arena. You can find a 7-11 on the ground floor, next to the elevators, while a direct link to the Prince PePe shopping center leads you to some eateries and a supermarket. It appears to be mostly frequented by business folk, at least when we visited in late November. Checking in was a smooth process with the friendly, English-speaking concierge. You'll want to grab some amenities such as washcloths, cotton pads, and shaving cream before taking the long elevator ride up to your room. We had a nice view overlooking the city seeing how we were past the 30th floor, though said view gets better once you head to the top for teppanyaki or the lovely lounge. Visit the latter at dusk to soak in the panoramic sight and count passing trains while you sip on house cocktails and savor their beef tagliata. Or maybe treat yourself to a dram of Hibiki 25 -- you deserve it. The double room is more business than leisure, though clean and comfortable enough to relax in after a long day out. There's a safe and a mini-fridge, as well as an air-conditioning remote mounted on the wall, and a room control panel by the bedside. There's also a table right by the TV that could pass as a work desk (with accompanying chair) if needed, though I much prefer the sofa by the windows so I can ruminate on my choices while at the Shin-Yokohama Ramen Museum. I should also mention that the housekeeping staff are incredibly warm and friendly should you cross paths. It's these little things that make a stay enjoyable, you know? Excellent value and a definite return should Yokohama ever be on the itinerary again.

Citadines HarbourFront Yokohama is a very clean and sleek looking hotel, with the train station just below! The room has all the necessities and even has a mini-kitchen including a microwave/oven and a refrigerator! We would most definitely stay here again if we were to visit Yokohama again.

Nice location, just exactly right in front of ext3 Bashamichi station. Amenities are plenty for you to pick up as you needed right at lobby floor such as iron, combed hair dryer, bath salt, etc. the hotel are a little outdated but fully functioned. The staffs are helpful and good at english communication and breakfast tastes pretty :)

Impeccable service, rather smooth communication and good location within Hakone. The hotel gives off a really relaxing vibe~so if you’re finding somewhere to just chill and soak in all those “zen-ness”, this is it! Just a little tip, the hotel is rather far from the train stations so do arrange for the free shuttle service in advance!

２回目の利用でした。朝食の大根餅が美味しかったです。10年上海で暮らしていたので中華粥も懐かしかったです。お昼は上海豫園で蟹粉豆腐と蟹粉小籠包を食べてとても満足しました。

安くて良いですね。バーベキュープラン、フレンチプランで2泊しました、13000円で宿泊できて、何と駐車料金無料。これはありがたい、中華街まで歩いて5分、山下公園まで、5分、港の見える丘は目の前、景色は良いし。 宿泊は事前清算で、飲み物や追加料金はチェックアウト時に清算します。車は、土日祝日以外なら、チェックイン前からも駐車料金無料で駐車できます。部屋は昭和の名残が最高ですね。サービス、部屋の調度品を求めるなら不向きです、保養所と割り切り、コスパ重視の人には良いでしょう。

First and foremost, the hotel is just a road across the Yumoto station and bus stations towards all places in Hakone and is extremely convenient! The service was excellent and took my request in swift and prompt response. There is even a souvenir shop that gathers almost all kinds of souvenirs of the area. You can pay a little more to book a private onsen bath for yourself or your family. Will visit again if I come back to Hakone again.

The Japanese rooms are almost to small to house two people with luggage, mattresses very thin, no Aircon available (only air clean). Room was run-down, the entire hotel is in dire need for make-over. It surely has seen better days. Therefore, it is overpriced. On the plus side: Food was good and so was the Onsen. But one would find similar Onsen standards nearby, in fact, next door. The nicely sized swimming pool closes at 5pm, can’t tell it’s quality. Massage service available, good service.

The location of this hotel is fantastic. It is just a few minutes walk to the Hakone shrine and tori gate on the water and about 15 minutes walk to the town by the water. From the town you can catch the pirate ship or ferry to the base of the cable car and head up the mountain to other attractions. The hotel grounds are lovely and full of pathways lined with Rhododendrum. The rooms are a great size and all have a view of the lake. I stayed on the third floor and in my opinion rooms on the third and fourth floors have a better view but the second floor rooms have a balcony and the first floor rooms have patios. The hotel provides yukatas and all toiletries you might need. The hotel onsen is small but nice and also has an outdoor bath. The hotel spa is very relaxing with a variety of services. I did not have dinner at the property but breakfast was very good. Every staff member I encountered was extremely professional, courteous and friendly. My only complaint is the mattress was very firm and I prefer some thing softer but that is a personal preference.

I read great reviews about Hakone Pax Yoshino. It's an older hotel in a tourist town and appears quite nice. My room was OK, large and could use some updating. My traditional dinner and service was spectacular, hence my 3-star rating. What tainted a one-night stay is I was traveling with a vegetarian friend and not only was she shut out of a dinner she paid for, but the front desk agent said they couldn't accommodate her, there would be no refund or substitutions, because we were traveling as solos we couldn't sit together - so many ”couldn'ts” that were simply not true. This tainted my stay and I went alone to dinner - plenty of room for another person - which was great. I was embarrassed that I had picked this hotel for friends to stay separately and upon arrival was told that our plan didn't include meals, which they sure did. So, at the front desk for about $300 per night, everything is ”couldn't”. Breakfast was just OK compared to dinner. I loved wearing the yakata and having hot spring water in the room's tub (which could use updating) was nice. In the morning, I was told to reserve a spot on a shuttle to the train station for what reason, I'm not sure. When no shuttle showed up for me, my friend and others waiting - and waiting - and waiting - we were then told that the shuttle doesn't always show up. Why the reservation for something that doesn't happen? The front desk could not request a cab, another ”couldn't”. Since most of us leaving had trains to catch and tours scheduled, we walked the 15 minutes or so to the station in the rain. I saw other guests I met while waiting also drenched at the station. In short, I'm not impressed though so much of Japan has impressive accommodations and kindness. Hakone Pax Yoshino falls short. For that reason, I wouldn't stay again and don't recommend it. Too bad, because the traditional dinner and restaurant serving staff are top notch. I'm sure the chef - and a dinner this good has to have a chef - would have said to serve a vegetarian rice, vegetables, desserts of which there were several as well as a large drink menu and other dishes - and the experience would have been better. Unfortunate that the front desk person we had could only say no, you don't have, we can't. Well, I think they could have. Very sad.

子供も楽しめるような客室露天風呂付の宿を探していたところ、 こちらの宿を発見。 ファミリールームを選択しました。 価格的には比較的リーズナブル。 私のプランには入湯税が別途取られたり、夕食時の酒類サービスが付いていないので 後払いしていますが、2杯以上飲まれる方は、1000円払っての飲み放題が良いかと。 お部屋的には、遊具のある部屋の窓の先に客室露天風呂があり、 小さいお子様でもそこで遊ばせながら露天に入ることも可能かと思います。 露天自体はそれなりの大きさで、大人二人入るには全く問題無し。 天然かけ流しではないが、こちらは硫黄泉で、硫黄の香りのするよい温泉で、 湯あたりもしない良い温泉でした。 露天は林が近くにあるからか、よーく壁などを見てみると、足の細長ーいよく見ないと分からない 足の細長い白っぽいクモがいましたが、湯船の中などに枯れ葉など入った際に取り除くための網で外に退治しました。 家内が虫嫌いなので、明るいうちにチェックしましたが、それ以外で気になる虫は見かけませんでした。目ざとい家内が入浴時に特に騒いでいなかったので、問題無かったと思います。 夜中は明かりをつけると誘引してしまうかなぁ？と思いましたが、 特に虫が寄ってきて騒ぐような事態にはならなかったのは良かった。 部屋については、大人がくつろぐにはちょっと物足りない大きさ。 子供たちは遊具施設で満足そうに遊んでいましたので、 子供に手をかけずにゆったり出来る時間がとれたのは良かった。 この部屋の難点は、あちこちに角と段差がある点。 コーナークッションのようなものを張り付けてあった痕跡はありますが、 はがれている部分あり。 2段ベッドの1階部分の布団を敷く場所を囲ってある木枠は本当にちょっとした段差ではありますが、木枠でない方が良いかと思うのと、もしそれなら面取り、角取りしてあれば良いのにと思う。 2段ベッドの階段件収納スペースの括り付け家具も、角張っており、 ここで大暴れすることは無いと思うが、0～3歳くらいの子には注意が必要かな。 スタッフの方々は、物腰柔らかい感じで、すごく良かったです。 あとは、ファミリールームは2階にありますが、エレベーターが無いので、 お子様の荷物が増えがちなご家庭は、荷揚げが大変かと。 スタッフに言えばやって頂けるのかもしれませんが、チェックインで込み合う時期は難しいかな。 そんな感じ。

Very decent and clean hotel, with polite, helpful and friendly staff. The breakfast buffet was very good, love the smoothie a lot! The room is cozy, spacious and clean. Perfect for couples, families or friends!

Right next to lake Ashi the hotel boasts very good views and location. The food we had was very good but we were part of a coach trip so the menu was tailored to us. The breakfast was however a delightful surprise as it was better than expected. The staff were as always for Japan very pleasant and accommodating. The morning presented us with great pictures of Lake Ashi with Mount Fuji in the background.

This hotel is a bit hard to reach by public transport. There is a bus that stops closeby, but there is also a train, however, after that you have to walk for 20 minutes and the road can be quite steep in some parts. In the vicinity, there are some convenience stores and restaurants. The town of Hakone is beautiful and located close to mount Fuji. We had a lovely ryokan-style suite with twin beds. Everything was very clean and comfortable, including the pillows. Breakfast is buffet-style and offers both European and Asian food. There are both a public onsen and a private one. Staff is very friendly and speaks English very well.

　昨年と同じ1月５日に宿泊しました。部屋はいつも通り低層階の部屋。低層階は葉の落ちた庭の木々の間を通して、月や星、朝日が見えます。高層階は木々に邪魔されず周囲の山々の景観が楽しめます。４階以上は宿泊したことはありませんが、冬の低層階の景色は寂しさと、清々しさが感じられ、味があると思います。私は、もし、最初の宿泊が、YouTubeで見た山側の部屋だったら二度と来ていないと思います。春以降は木々の葉の中、森の中の温泉宿のような雰囲気で、また、別の味わいですが、私は冬が好きです。今回、Aiphoneを新型に変えたら、夜、庭と星が上手く撮れました。全体的には相変わらずの素晴らしさで満足しています。そんな中で敢えて気になったことを申し上げれば、毎回、食事の写真を撮っているのですが、受付時のお茶菓子は昨年と同じもの(もちろん満足してます)でした。事前に館内着のサイズを要望していて用意してもらったのですが、丹前?が小さく着れず、昨年はチョッキのような(何と言うかわかりません)館内着の上に着るものもなく(農民みたいにみえるからか?)、昨年、売店で買った館内着の最大サイズにはピンク色ぽい館内着を買ったのですが、部屋に用意された館内着は同じホワイトグレー?でした。(昨年も同色なので、男女で宿泊予約しても同色かもしれません。又はサイズにより数がない?)　年末に箱根湯本の他のホテルに泊まった時も同様でしたが、夕食の料理が、昨年より、小さかったり、量が少なくなっていると感じました。昨年宿泊時の写真と比べると、どうしても気になってしまいます。宿泊料金も昨年より上がっているような感覚で、料理が小さくなるのが気になりました。良かった点は、各所のスタッフさん達は相変わらず対応が良かったです。ノンアルの飲み物もエレベーター脇のところに多数あり良かったです。事前にSNS等で低い評価もありましたが、確かに、客がいるのに、スタッフ同士で小声の話し方で同僚に対する不満を言いあってるスタッフがいたり、食事処でスタッフ人数を絞っているのか、呼び鈴ボタン押してもすぐには来てもらえなかったりしましたが、私には許容範囲でした。私は、ここでSNSに乗っていたような目にはあったことがありません。今後も利用していきたいと思いました。最後に、ここで昨年買った館内着ですが、他の同じ共立リゾートだと「盗った」と思われそうなので着れませんが、他のホテルで使い、外国人観光客等に評判でした。他の温泉旅館等に泊まる時は常用しています。できれば常時各種サイズの色を揃えてもらいたいです。次回宿泊した際には、海外のお土産用に色があれば買いたいです。

子供も楽しめるような客室露天風呂付の宿を探していたところ、 こちらの宿を発見。 ファミリールームを選択しました。 価格的には比較的リーズナブル。 私のプランには入湯税が別途取られたり、夕食時の酒類サービスが付いていないので 後払いしていますが、2杯以上飲まれる方は、1000円払っての飲み放題が良いかと。 お部屋的には、遊具のある部屋の窓の先に客室露天風呂があり、 小さいお子様でもそこで遊ばせながら露天に入ることも可能かと思います。 露天自体はそれなりの大きさで、大人二人入るには全く問題無し。 天然かけ流しではないが、こちらは硫黄泉で、硫黄の香りのするよい温泉で、 湯あたりもしない良い温泉でした。 露天は林が近くにあるからか、よーく壁などを見てみると、足の細長ーいよく見ないと分からない 足の細長い白っぽいクモがいましたが、湯船の中などに枯れ葉など入った際に取り除くための網で外に退治しました。 家内が虫嫌いなので、明るいうちにチェックしましたが、それ以外で気になる虫は見かけませんでした。目ざとい家内が入浴時に特に騒いでいなかったので、問題無かったと思います。 夜中は明かりをつけると誘引してしまうかなぁ？と思いましたが、 特に虫が寄ってきて騒ぐような事態にはならなかったのは良かった。 部屋については、大人がくつろぐにはちょっと物足りない大きさ。 子供たちは遊具施設で満足そうに遊んでいましたので、 子供に手をかけずにゆったり出来る時間がとれたのは良かった。 この部屋の難点は、あちこちに角と段差がある点。 コーナークッションのようなものを張り付けてあった痕跡はありますが、 はがれている部分あり。 2段ベッドの1階部分の布団を敷く場所を囲ってある木枠は本当にちょっとした段差ではありますが、木枠でない方が良いかと思うのと、もしそれなら面取り、角取りしてあれば良いのにと思う。 2段ベッドの階段件収納スペースの括り付け家具も、角張っており、 ここで大暴れすることは無いと思うが、0～3歳くらいの子には注意が必要かな。 スタッフの方々は、物腰柔らかい感じで、すごく良かったです。 あとは、ファミリールームは2階にありますが、エレベーターが無いので、 お子様の荷物が増えがちなご家庭は、荷揚げが大変かと。 スタッフに言えばやって頂けるのかもしれませんが、チェックインで込み合う時期は難しいかな。 そんな感じ。

Very decent and clean hotel, with polite, helpful and friendly staff. The breakfast buffet was very good, love the smoothie a lot! The room is cozy, spacious and clean. Perfect for couples, families or friends!

Right next to lake Ashi the hotel boasts very good views and location. The food we had was very good but we were part of a coach trip so the menu was tailored to us. The breakfast was however a delightful surprise as it was better than expected. The staff were as always for Japan very pleasant and accommodating. The morning presented us with great pictures of Lake Ashi with Mount Fuji in the background.

This hotel is a bit hard to reach by public transport. There is a bus that stops closeby, but there is also a train, however, after that you have to walk for 20 minutes and the road can be quite steep in some parts. In the vicinity, there are some convenience stores and restaurants. The town of Hakone is beautiful and located close to mount Fuji. We had a lovely ryokan-style suite with twin beds. Everything was very clean and comfortable, including the pillows. Breakfast is buffet-style and offers both European and Asian food. There are both a public onsen and a private one. Staff is very friendly and speaks English very well.

　昨年と同じ1月５日に宿泊しました。部屋はいつも通り低層階の部屋。低層階は葉の落ちた庭の木々の間を通して、月や星、朝日が見えます。高層階は木々に邪魔されず周囲の山々の景観が楽しめます。４階以上は宿泊したことはありませんが、冬の低層階の景色は寂しさと、清々しさが感じられ、味があると思います。私は、もし、最初の宿泊が、YouTubeで見た山側の部屋だったら二度と来ていないと思います。春以降は木々の葉の中、森の中の温泉宿のような雰囲気で、また、別の味わいですが、私は冬が好きです。今回、Aiphoneを新型に変えたら、夜、庭と星が上手く撮れました。全体的には相変わらずの素晴らしさで満足しています。そんな中で敢えて気になったことを申し上げれば、毎回、食事の写真を撮っているのですが、受付時のお茶菓子は昨年と同じもの(もちろん満足してます)でした。事前に館内着のサイズを要望していて用意してもらったのですが、丹前?が小さく着れず、昨年はチョッキのような(何と言うかわかりません)館内着の上に着るものもなく(農民みたいにみえるからか?)、昨年、売店で買った館内着の最大サイズにはピンク色ぽい館内着を買ったのですが、部屋に用意された館内着は同じホワイトグレー?でした。(昨年も同色なので、男女で宿泊予約しても同色かもしれません。又はサイズにより数がない?)　年末に箱根湯本の他のホテルに泊まった時も同様でしたが、夕食の料理が、昨年より、小さかったり、量が少なくなっていると感じました。昨年宿泊時の写真と比べると、どうしても気になってしまいます。宿泊料金も昨年より上がっているような感覚で、料理が小さくなるのが気になりました。良かった点は、各所のスタッフさん達は相変わらず対応が良かったです。ノンアルの飲み物もエレベーター脇のところに多数あり良かったです。事前にSNS等で低い評価もありましたが、確かに、客がいるのに、スタッフ同士で小声の話し方で同僚に対する不満を言いあってるスタッフがいたり、食事処でスタッフ人数を絞っているのか、呼び鈴ボタン押してもすぐには来てもらえなかったりしましたが、私には許容範囲でした。私は、ここでSNSに乗っていたような目にはあったことがありません。今後も利用していきたいと思いました。最後に、ここで昨年買った館内着ですが、他の同じ共立リゾートだと「盗った」と思われそうなので着れませんが、他のホテルで使い、外国人観光客等に評判でした。他の温泉旅館等に泊まる時は常用しています。できれば常時各種サイズの色を揃えてもらいたいです。次回宿泊した際には、海外のお土産用に色があれば買いたいです。
