The grill staff are some of the most amazing people I have met they went above and beyond for us and gave us memories we will cherish for the rest of our lives and if any one wants to go to this hotel make sure to go to the grill

First of all, the staff have been amazing. Phenomenal. Rodrigo at the front desk has been going above and beyond to try to make magic happen. Regino in the restaurant became family, really taking care of our family and making my son feel extra special for his birthday. Missael at the beach club was beyond amazing and even gave my son his own keychain toy for his birthday, it is his favorite and he carries it everywhere. Edith is an angel with children and did the arts and crafts. Xochitl and Fabiola gave me the most unbelievable spa and massage experience. The golf cart drivers (I forget their names) have been SO fun and made every ride a funny and exciting drive for our kids. We have a 3 and 5 year old who have been having the time of their lives. The pools are clean and perfect temperature. Housekeeping does an amazing job and even set up a birthday surprise for our son too. The issues we’ve had are mainly with a broken AC in our room that has been a challenge every single day. This is an older resort that Marriott bought and the staff struggles to keep it functioning. They’ve done everything they can to help but we are so unhappy with how hot our room has been. The food is average, not bad by any means. I think our only negative experience was the teppenyaki restaurant - food was bland. They said you can have a choice of protein but what that meant was they mixed all the chicken, steak, and shrimp together which gave the whole thing a shrimp taste. My husband doesn’t eat shellfish and couldn’t eat any of it. Overall, I would absolutely recommend it just for the pure joy the staff has given us. The nearby towns are safe and wonderful for children too. I wish we had more time to explore!

I would give 5 starts just for “The Nest” restaurant. Special mentions and a big thank you to Nazly, Daniela, Andres, Julio, Roberto for their excellent service. Family-like service with a smile and always ready to accommodate requests. I’d say everyone who worked here made us feel welcome and we ended up frequenting the restaurant just for the service, food and views. 5/5 for the breathtaking views and the delicious Mexican meals. The reason for giving a 4/5 is for the overall family selection itself. While it’s definitely better than the rest of the resort. Pros: access to a nice beach that isn’t crowded, pools are nicer and good small perks / conveniences. Carlos (the butler) made us feel welcome and was always ready to serve with a smile. Room cleaning frequency is way better (by a mile compared to the regular) - thanks to Belen our tireless and excellent cleaner. Cons: Other restaurants (outside of Nest) are nearly impossible to get a reservation on the App, when we managed to talk to someone and get a reservation, we realized the restaurants aren’t even 50% full. It’s not easy to get a hold of folks on the phone from the room, but when you meet them face to face they are ready to help. Non-family selection areas: Before we upgraded we had constant badgering from the palladium attendants who wanted us to do a walking tour to get some free spa coupon. Service at the regular resort (not family selection) was minimal - tough to catch a hold of anyone and SO crowded so we felt the need to “have to” upgrade.

Excelente atencion por parte de la Gerente, nos brindo informacion de lugares a visitar, nos ofrecio el servicio de transporte y para hacer grata nuestra estancia en la playa nos dieron silla playera y sombrilla. cerca de la playa con restaurantes cercanos todos con muy buenas opciones y precios accesibles. frente a la bahia. precio adecuaco. Agradable hotel, muy familiar y confortable, limpio, habitaciones amplias y camas comodas, la alberca con agua caliente que te hace relajarte y disfrutar la estancia. El restaurante del hotel tiene deliciosa comida, todo es muy rico, con porciones muy bastas.el personal muy amable.
