Hotel 3-Star di East Java, Indonesia

Our 2nd time staying at this hotel. It was in a good neighborhood (many street food vendor at night). Good service (fast check-in/out), suitable parking space. Overall a great stay for us.

This is actually a VERY COOL hotel. As someone who LOVE vintage things, I really appriciate this place. From their historical front building, their vintage styled room, all took me back to the 90s to early 2000. The NOSTALGIA 🥺. When I was little, my grandpa and grandma used to take me travel and stayed at hotels. So hotels like these have a special place in my heart. Unfortunately, it looked like they really cut down the budget. Although they gave a very cheap price for their room (not more than IDR 250K including breakfast), on WEEKENDS?? But the towels were not white anymore and felt thin (not like other hotel towels), the sheets had tough spots, and no shower cap. But I loveddd the lemongrass soap and shampoo, and they were in dispensers so less plastic waste. The breakfast was really sad. It was nice when I stayed here around a couple of years ago. But this time it was worse. Not too many options and looked empty. Really felt like they didn't put much effort. Well, what do you expect for that price? And I understand they might be in a very tight budget. I noticed they added a ”Mini Zoo” signage. A staff warned me that there were not many animals yet. But I decided to go see it. Turned out it was located in the side of the parking road (but outdoor), there were fishes and a big avian animal (like chicken but different, I don't know what it was). And some parakeets in two separate cages, they were all dead 😭😭 I told a staff and they quickly removed the dead birds. Good idea but poor execution. But anyways, location was top. Just a few meters across the street, there was a bus stop and you can hop on the Suroboyo Bus to go anywhere. And the hotel itself was in a main street of a hot destination (Old Town Surabaya), with historical buildings complex, also with the chinatown nearby. I really hope they can survive this economy storm. I really love this hotel 🥺.

One of the good hotels to try. Because there are many strategic places that sell cheap food and sungi because the location is in the middle of housing. The weather is cool and there is also a swimming pool. Suitable for families and couples for weekends or long holidays

Like an old hotel that's been renovated. The bathroom was a bit dirty and had a very damp smell. The room also smelled damp. Breakfast was still all right though.

We had a great stay at Bobocabin Ijen. The location is perfect, surrounded by nature and very peaceful, especially if you want to relax before visiting Ijen. The cabin was clean, comfortable and well maintained, and the whole place had a really nice atmosphere. The only downside for us was the food. It was quite limited. Overall, we still enjoyed our stay and would recommend it for the location and the unique experience.

Whiz Prime Hotel was perfect for me. The location was fantastic where i want go restaurants and places to see near by. Thank you kindly to the wonderful staff for making my stay truly special.

The hotel boasts truly stunning views, and I took so many incredible photos from the balcony of my room – it was breathtakingly beautiful. It’s also very close to Mount Bromo. The only downsides were that the room was extremely hot during the day and freezing at night. They only provide a small heater, which wasn't very effective. I confirmed with the hotel manager that they don't have air conditioning due to a local government policy for environmental protection. My main complaint after checking in was the cold showers, which were quite an experience! It seemed like the electric water heater wasn't very stable, and taking a cold shower, especially at night when the mountain top is chilly, was pretty awful. Otherwise, everything else was really good. Breakfast was just okay, nothing special, and there were a lot of flies, but I guess that's just how it is in this area, so you can't expect too much. Having seen some of the other hotels, I still think this 'influencer-friendly' hotel is quite good.

I had an unexpected overnight stay and requested a non-smoking room. When I checked in around midnight, the service was quick, and I was immediately given a room. Thankfully, the room was clean and didn't smell. The next morning, check-out was also swift, so the online taxi waiting for me didn't have to wait long.

The hotel is good, the breakfast is quite complete and worthy of being a star **. The location is in the middle of the city near the campus, it is only located in an alley not a protocol road, the reception service is good, only the hotel technician's response to complaints about TV channels is lacking. Overall good

📍Location (+) Located in the city center, convenient access to many tourist spots in Surabaya. There's Indomaret next to the hotel, which makes it convenient too. Wisata Rasa, a recommend place to buy edible souvenirs (like almond crispy), is also nearby. (-) I expected very walkable distance to Tunjungan Romansa, but it is apparently further away than expected. Still walkable but will take quite some time, and only walkable at night. Walking in the day is not very feasible due to Surabaya hot weather. 🏠 Room Facilities (+) TV, desk, 3 electrical outlets, wardrobe with hangers, storage cabinet, safety box, air dryer in the bathroom, and electric kettle are available. Water gallon for refills is available outside the room. (-) The lights in the room are dim, which makes the room unsuitable for work. Toilet issue is of low quality. No fridge. Cuttlery are provided with charge. 🏨 Hotel Facilities (+) Great breakfast with various options, including local delicacies like lontong balap. There are board games, mini pool table, and foosball. PCs are available in the lobby, not sure if it works though. Can store luggage in the receptionist after check out. Toilets are available in the lobby. (-) The hotel only gives 1 access card per room, even if I book a room for 2 people. Was excited to see congklak game but apparently the seeds weren't enough. 👥 Service (+) Friendly staffs. Could ask for extra towel. Could request for specific housekeeping cleaning time.
