Hotel 4-Star di Uusimaa, Finland

Plus: The room is very nice size, very clean and near the railway station. The reception is very friendly and helpful Minus: They claim my booking does not include breakfast but I did book with breakfast. So I have to contact Trip.com to sort this out. Waste of time. No kettle in the room. I requested for one and they say EUR5, but they waived the charge. It’s nice but then why is it so difficult to have a kettle? The soap dispenser is filled with hair conditioner! I told the receptionist. He is super nice and gave me a small travel size for the night first. Super kind. Next morning, they changed but this time again they filled in the wrong bottles haha. I gave up. The breakfast is very nice, good variety and quality.

As the hotel is not circled around lunch and restaurants I would’ve appreciated better opening hours and more lunch options in the cafe at the hotel. Seems like it as a hotel mainly for partnering firms where they was served food all day but for the rest of us it was a bit off. Great view that I had been looking forward to but after a booking mistake I ended up in a street view and the wheelchair adapted rooms. I got annoyed by every service request was followed by a charge: checking in 30 min early - charge. Changing room to a regular room - charge. Changing room to a sea view - charge. I’m used to more flexibility…

Tilat olivat erittäin hyvät ja siistit. Lisäksi yhteiskäyttökeittiö oli mahtava, jossa pystyi käyttämään leivähpaahdinta se älä airfryeria. Myös televisiot yhteisessä tilassa olivat mukava lisä, koska niitä ei ole huoneissa. Check-in ja -out olivat helppoja. Asunto oli sopivankokoinen ja sijainti erinomainen.

It was the best hotel I’ve booked, tha breakfast was amazing. The hotel is quite close to the train station if you are getting by train from the airport, the customer service is 10/10 , all the staff is willing to help and they did. The amenities are also close, if you want to walk it is 10 minutes by foot to the cathedral, old market, etc. The room is quite and all was very clean.

We stayed here for just one night and the location is near the railway station and most of the tourists attractions in walk distance. The rooms is quite spacious except the towels smell like long time no change.. can’t find the phone in room to contact the front desk but they did reply through email as a timely manner. The hotel is quite big so needs some walk inside to get to the room, no bellboy to handle your luggage. And suitcase storage is a room with lock but without any tag attachment service. Guest just put the suitcases themselves in and the space may be not enough so some of the suitcases need to be put outside the room with no particular person to take care of. Overall, good to have a short stay here. The breakfast choice is various and food is good

Wonderful hotel we booked on a trip.com deal. For a 1 - 3 night stay the hotel is perfect, very elegant entrance and clean throughout. The beds were comfortable, the washroom was modern, and the room even had a tiny kitchenette. I have to say the room was slightly smaller than I was expecting but for a couple + a toddler on a short stay, it suit us quite comfortably. The breakfast was rich in variety too. Hightly recommend, would stay again! One side note, the hotel pool/sauna was only open until 10AM in the morning, closed during the day, then open again after 5PM, not a deal breaker but it's nice to know ahead of time. Enjoy!

Stayed at Scandic Helsinki Aviapolis, a convenient airport hotel near Helsinki-Vantaa Airport. Overall, it was a good stay, ideal for transit travelers and short visits. The hotel is just a few minutes from the airport, with a free shuttle service running every 20–30 minutes. It is also within walking distance of Aviapolis train station (about 15 minutes), making it easy to reach Helsinki city center. A major plus is the Jumbo Shopping Mall nearby, offering a variety of restaurants, shops, and a grocery store—perfect for those needing last-minute essentials or an alternative dining option. The room was clean, modern, and functional, featuring comfortable bedding, a work desk, and a well-maintained bathroom with a walk-in shower and essential toiletries. The breakfast buffet starts at 6 AM, offering a great selection of fresh bread, cold cuts, hot dishes, and Finnish specialties. For those with super early flights, a light breakfast is available from 4 AM. Due to time constraints - I briefly checked out the gym and sauna in the basement which appeared well-maintained. The staff was friendly and efficient, making check-in and check-out smooth. The overall atmosphere is modern and practical, making it a great choice for travelers catching an early flight or needing a short, comfortable stay near the airport.

This is my third time in the same hotel. Excellent location with Tripla Mall and railway station. Only one stop to Helsinki center. We are quite big/tall, so X-bed rooms are perfect. Good breakfast.

The location is excellent, just a few minutes walk from the central train station and within walking distance to all the city's popular attractions. The room layout is spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is excellent with a wide range of dining options. The service and staff at the hotel are very friendly and welcoming! We especially enjoyed the hotel's restaurant, which was open until 10pm, allowing us to enjoy dinner at the end of a day of sightseeing, and the food was delicious. We ate in the restaurant three times during our three night stay at the hotel, as the food was really excellent and the very professional staff there, Carina, was very friendly and welcoming. Decent hotel in a good location. Shopping mall attached with some good food options. Breakfast at the hotel was passable. Nothing fancy. To have a kettle in your room you must pay an extra $20 a night. Which we found so odd. We just ended up buying coffee from the mall. The smell that comes from the bathroom was horrendous. Make sure you keep the bathroom door closed
