Hotel 3 Bintang di Chiapas, Mexico

I had a very pleasant experience in Tapachula and would recommend it for a friendly getaway for couples. The hotel San Francisco was clean and comfortable. The restaurant has a limited menu but food was good.

Un hotel limpio, cómodo y bien ubicado.

En general estuvo bien, pero si hay cosas a mejorar. No nos dejaron ninguna toalla el primer día, el segundo no dejaron la de pies. La capacidad de espacio para desayuno en algunos horarios no es suficiente. El extractor de vapor del baño no sirve. Son cosas que no he tenido problema en otras ocasiones y ahora si.

Cuando me retiraba entregue las llaves de la habitación 09, me dijeron que checarían el interior de la habitación y si podía esperar, a lo que accedí y tomé asiento. Posteriormente una señorita del turno matutino, me dijo que hacía falta un tapete de baño y que si podían revisar mi maleta, a lo cual al principio si me molestó porque sé que no llevaba nada. Revisaron mi maleta ella y un encargado de la limpieza, no conformes de ver qué no había nada en mi mochila insistían que regresara el tapete. A lo cual ya tuve que exaltarme y decirles que no tenía ningún tapete, aún así el de limpieza intento abrir un cierre donde solo entran identificaciones y dinero, fue donde le dije que no se les ocurriera abrir ahí, porque llevaba mi dinero solamente. Posteriormente, solo me dijo una persona de sexo masculino, que se encontraba en recepción que me retirara. La verdad muy muy molesto les dije que era última vez que me hospedo ahí. Se me hace de mal gusto, que me incriminen de esa forma y frente a todos en el lobby; ya que deberían tener protocolos para hacerlo, no de esta forma tan denigrante y prepotente, ya que solo demuestran la ineptitud de su personal y falta de profesionalismo.

Hotel sencillo con pequeña piscina. La habitaciòn amplia y limpia, el hotel dispone de una nevera con varias cervezas a 35 pesos (1,5 euros) y una terraza muy agradable para poder consumirlas. Buen aire acondicionado en la habitaciòn. Toallas rotas, muy desgastadas, solo dos sobrecitos de jabòn como amenities. De la ducha tarda en salir el agua caliente, con muy poca presiòn y caudal. No muy recomendable si quieres dormir más de las 8.00 am, pues a esa hora ponen la música muy alta, ya sea fin de semana o no, si vas a madrugar, sin problema. No permiten el consumo de alimentos en las habitaciones. Nos hicieron el cargo de la habitaciòn sin avisar y sin requerir ninguna firma en la tarjeta de la reserva, lo que nos supuso una comisiòn de nuestro banco. No recomendable contratar el desayuno, junto con la habitaciòn, pues entienden por desayuno continental dos biscotes, mantequilla, mermelada, fruta y café; si quieres algo más tiene un recargo. Nos ofrecieron unos huevos a parte por 35 pesos (1,5 euros) pero al día siguiente nos dijeron que eran 50 pesos (2,1 euros), mejor solicitar la carta en el momento. En su web indican que por más de 2 noches de alojamiento el traslado al aeropuerto es gratuito; nosotros les preguntamos en varias ocasiones durante semanas y no obtuvimos respuesta hasta el día de antes de viajar, por lo que ya teníamos contratado el transporte con otra agencia.

Overall a not so satisfactory stay without any frills. There is no fridge in the rooms which even far cheaper hotels provide in Tuxtla nor is there any noise isolation. The sheets smelled really nicely and it looked inviting. Looked! I found a spider,very small and 2 ants crawling unimpressed over my bed but I evacuated them gently.I guess their maintenance isn't existent and it shows. Nor is pest control. Glad the scorpions and serpents avoided me...just joking.maybe...The housekeeper was yelling around at 8 am. Fortunately I was already awake. The building is really old with another huge building next to this one. Bed factory I am normally fleeing from...The view was terrible at a wall although being diamond elite ihg. So this was their upgrade? I got my reasons I don't frequent holiday inns much. And I was right again. The safety box was dying the moment I tried to closed it,so they actually changed the whole thing instead of changing the batteries (we don't have batteries) ... the guy to,d me literally he wasn't feeling like being sent over to the mall buying new ones so he returned with a new safety box later. What a hotel! The rest wasn't much better...it's like traveling back to 1975, apparently nothing ever changed there since then. The restaurant looked awful with its lights that would be more appropriate for lighting up an airport hangar or an international border crossing than a place where you eat but ok... their strange waiters that got so much more to do on their cellphones than caring for guests. No tip for you! There are hotels that shoul ho torn and flattened just to make space for an exciting new parking lot. Would I return to this one? Definitely never !

No hay agua caliente en las habitaciones, y no te advierten hasta que estás a medio baño te das cuenta, los recepcionistas sin la capacidad de dar soluciones, me comentaron que yo viera otra habitación de otras personas para que se bañaran ahí terminó diciendo que si quería me subía una cubeta y una resistencia, No es opción si llevas gente de la 3a edad; baños sucios y si reportas te dicen que no es verdad. Camas sucias, la llave se bloquea todos los días, las Camaristas atentas. Definitivamente no es 3 estrellas, lástima de instalaciones porque el hotel es bonito, la administración malísima.

Todo estuvo muy bien, solo no me gustó que ya no incluye el desayuno como antes de que cambiaran el nombre del hotel

I use to be a regular guest of this hotel. At least 3 times a year I did stay there with my family, In October last year I stay for 4 days. Left my 600 dollars watch in the room and as soon I check the GPS in it I call the manager of the hotel to keep it safe until I could send for it, There was no doubt I left it in the room. The manager told me that she will call in a few hours to let me know if housekeeping found it or not. She never calls me back so I call the following day. But that time the GPS on my watch was turned off. So when the manager finally answer my call told me that the watch was not in the room. Is very sad that a hotel is willing to lose a customer over a watch that obviously was stolen for a staff member bat what is even worst is that the hotel manager doesn't care.

Wi-Fi需要去衛生間坐在馬桶上，手機信號也是，床上大概裝了信號屏蔽器！前台胖娘們是個*** ，你定的什麼都給你破單人間，一定要確認你定的房型是否和她給你的房型一致！簡直是矇混過關型的！房間設施很OK，門衛大爺很友善！

La atención del personal es muy buena, la relación precio calidad es equiparable, entiendo que estén remodelando y por eso algunos pequeños detalles en las instalaciones, por todo lo demás, no me queda más que felicitarlos, definitivamente mi hotel favorito en este destino, lo recomiendo

不讓抽煙很煩

A decent, centrally-located hotel with spacious rooms. However, there were many little things that added up to a negative experience for me and I won't stay here again. PROS Pool, air conditioning, very close to central park (Parque Miguel Hidalgo), good pillows, big rooms, restaurant on-site CONS The pool was full of screaming kids most of the time. The first room they put me in was 103 and the door opened directly onto the pool. The noise was atrocious so on my second day I asked to be moved to a quieter room, which the staff did quickly and with many apologies. They put me on the third floor, room 301, but because the pool is in an open-air section in the center of the hotel, the noise echoed all over the property. Quieter, but definitely not tranquil. The bed gave me a back ache. It only had one sheet and a very thin plasticky coverlet. The air conditioning had two settings -- FULL blast or off. So I either froze or roasted. The shower couldn't maintain a steady temperature. Towels were scratchy. No hand towel. There was no bottled water in the room and no agua pura dispenser in the lobby. This is something I've seen often at other hotels in Mexico and I missed having access to drinking water. There is an OXXO convenience store only steps away though. STAIRS -- this hotel is not mobility-friendly. There is a big set of stairs even to get to reception. Avoid if you have knee problems. Summary: there are better hotels in the same area. Skip this one unless you have kids and want a pool for them.

Tuve una buena experiencia en este hotel hace un año por lo que decidí volver este mes. Fue la peor decisión, convirtieron el hotel en un lugar desagradable lleno de extranjeros con poca higiene quienes se mantienen en la entrada y en el loby del hotel sin cubrebocas, fumando y sin zapatos , Subiendo los pies en las mesas y sillones en donde uno “toma el desayuno” . Los protocolos contra el COVID no existen en este hotel y esos hombres me hicieron sentir insegura todo el tiempo con sus miradas y sus actos . Para cerrar con broche de oro , llaman damas de compañía por las noches para obtener servicios dentro del hotel (inaceptable) !! Y la habitaciones ni como rescatarlas , Las sábanas tenían manchas amarillas dudo mucho que hagan una correcta limpieza y los huéspedes de al lado se encargan de azotar las puertas todo el tiempo. El desayuno pésimo , dice ser buffet pero en realidad no lo es y deja mucho que desear . Todo fue espantoso y lo peor es que al personal esto le parece totalmente normal , sali enferma de este lugar! Mucho OJO.

Excelente atención de los colaboradores de este hotel

El lugar es bonito. Si no eres 100% amante de los animales no lo recomiendo. Hay varios animales no muy agradables rondando el hotel. Y hay bastante ruido por las noches las habitaciones tienen bastantes insectos como hormigas son las que no pican pero se suben a tus cosas o ropa. Recomendaría al lugar fumigar las habitaciones de ahí en fuera tienen una zona de alberta bastante bonita. Para salir del hotel tienes que pedir un taxi o llegar en carro.

Leider Minuspunkte wegen unerträglich harten Matratzen und Kissen, Zimmer unpersönlich und nackt, Blick aus dem Fenster auf Maschhdrahtzaun..... Pool klein und nett, wenige Liegen vorhanden. Restaurant übersichtlich, freundliches aber überfordertes Personal.....es gibt Bier....und dann nicht mehr viel, Essen fad.... Für 1-2 Nächte aber ok.

Qu'il y a t'il de plus fantastique que d'arriver dans notre hôtel cerné par des cris de singes hurleurs et survolés par vols de arras rouges (guacamays escarlates) en bonne voie d'extinction par ce cher être humain. Très bel hôtel avec quelques symptômes tout de même de la difficulté d'entretenir de si grand édifices. Agréablement bien situé à 5 min en voiture du centre de Palenque au calme. Chambre confort lit king size, clim, TV, wifi, 2 belles piscines et services restaurant/petit déjeuner . Personnel très sympathique. Bon rapport qualité-prix. Je recommande++

Very restful. Great beds, sheets, pillows, hot water, towels, complimentary water/shampoo/etc. I travel quite a bit, but I know many do not. For the neophyte/uneasy traveler I'd say, ”You'll be very comfortable here.” Very easy access to the Palenque ruins. The AC works great. Staff has been wonderful. We had a minor problem and it was addressed immediately. It really is a nice place to stay (and it has it's own restaurant). I believe I need to be mindful of my fellow travelers priorities and say that I found the pool a disappointment. It's very nice in location/construction, but my observation on this trip has been that ALL the hotels I've stay edat use their pool filters only part of the day. I regret that this pool is so cloudy that (I think) a good 'shock' treatment is in order as well as a thorough cleaning.
