El hotel no ha sido renovado hace mucho. Tiene una apariencia de los 80's. Un colchón era terrible; otro no llegaba a ”suficiente”. El costo de estadía, por noche fue muy barato. Sólo me arriesgaría a volver por el precio. La comida, sin ser destacable. Satisfacía.

Très bon rapport qualité-prix.stue a 20 km de l'aéroport sud.vous devez prendre le bus 10 jusqu'à san isidro, puis le 111 jusqu'à l'arrêt las eras( n' oubliez pas de presser le bouton stop).puis vous descendez tranquillement a pied à las eras.c est tout petit :un café sur la place et deux petites supérettes.l hôtel est au bord de mer.tres bon accueil.chambres petites,mais avec vue sur mer.bon matelas,mais lits un peu branlants.sanitaires et douches en nombre insuffisants.petite piscine et plage de galets.tres grand salon cuisine ou l on peut se relaxer,a l'air et avec belle vue sur la mer.cuisine super équipée.petit dej très copieux (vous pouvez même faire vos propres crêpes). personnel de bénévoles au petit soin.navette gratuite pour san isidro et el Medrano tous les jours a 10h.conseil: prenez en court séjour et si ça vous plaît, prolongez!

Just back after a weeks stay . I’ll start with positives . Room large and spacious with good sized balcony , we had a sea view which was lovely . Cleaners came in every other day and day before departure they changed towels only . Shower and bathroom had been upgraded by the looks and was very nice , products available . Staff very friendly and very hard working . Breakfast best meal of the day . Pool was a good size but Lanzarote has few heated ones so quite cold to go in in January , although some people did brave it . Location perfect , spar opposite and bars on the walk down to the ***** . Turn right to walk to the harbour , lots of shops and restaurants on the way . Turn left to the ***** , so ideally situated . Wines , beer , sangria , coffees and soft drinks all available in the restaurant . Small bar but variety of drinks and snacks bought out am and pm. Lift available to all floors . Now the negatives . Bedroom area very small in comparison to living area , could do with a re jig somehow ??? Doors to room are wooden and you have a key not a electronic entry system , they bang badly and the noise level is awful at all hours from this as is the noise of people scraping chairs around on the balconies at all hours also . The food let this hotel down , although items replenished frequently and quite a variety , food was quite bland and Luke warm . Parasols and sun beds tired looking and stained , could do with a refresh . Inclusive cocktails premixed and very watery . I wouldn’t stay here again based purely on the noise of the doors etc , you can close them quietly but people don’t and it’s disturbing . But location perfect and you go could do bed and breakfast or self catering as an option . I was unable to give a good rating as not the option so had to give average but I’d say it was a good hotel for 2*.

Nice and clean and great location. Street it is on felt a little dark and we were wary walking down it at night. Only downside was noise levels , everything seemed to echo so we could hear doors slamming, people walking and talking all night, shower from room upstairs etc Would recommend especially for price and value.

Great hostel in a rich area. The hostel is like two mansions teamed up. I stayed in December. I arrived to be greeted by Andrea (who is awesome) training two new volunteers at reception, who all kindly entertained my attempt at speaking Spanish. I did find it quite odd that 90% of the staff were incredibly good looking women. The breakfast is really good in a fantastic underground fancy cave like setting. They have themed food nights each night, while a little pricey for what you get, is a great way to meet some of the other guests. There is a really good Italian pizza place a few minutes walk inland nearby. And a park just over the road with a small calisthenics open gym area. My only note of improvement would be to ditch these squeaky clunky metal bunk beds and replace them with solid wood, maybe even more of a pod style type. Anyway thanks for the great stay

Just off the tourist streets so quieter but not far to walk to be in the hub Toilet clean Room clean Someone walking up and down to toilet regularly from about 1am then washed pans for about 15mins at 2am. Also up again running water for what seemed like ages at 4am I didn’t have earplugs so got no sleep . Appalling behaviour . Light from hall / toilet brightens room and curtain not big enough to cover window .

The hotel is very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They do serve delicious meals, loved the servings of their breakfast, and being a coffee drinker, they have the most delicious one there. The location in the Center of the city, the beach is 30 minutes with the public transport 5 minutes walk from the hotel. By car it’s 10-15 minutes. A perfect spot to go for evening walks. The area feels very safe in the evening, the city Center is very lively even during the week days. The area is Perfect for people travelling alone and couples or even families.

Всё соответствует описанию и фотографиям, чисто, уютно, персонал отзывчивый, рядом магазин, ларёк с экскурсиями, автобусная станция, пляж (волны, постоянно красный флаг), можно дойти до городского пляжа с бассейнами, природа очень красивая, все супер.

Die Anlage ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und hat leichte gebrauchsspuren, aber alle Geräte haben funktioniert, alle Türen und Fenster ließen sich öffnen und schließen und das Bett war bequem. Das Personal an der Reception war freundlich und sprach auch ein passables Englisch, so das eine normale kommunikation möglich war. Die Ausstattung des Apartments ist ewas minimalistisch ausgelegt und wirkt bunt zusammengesucht.

When you go to Puerto Rico you know it’s a canyon so expect to spend time walking on hilly terrain and take good trainers for all the hills . The good thing we found about Montebello is there are access gates and different levels of the apartments this really cuts out some serious up hill walking . The room was equipped with everything we needed for our stay and the very generous sun terraces/balcony’s are excellent for more private sunbathing if desired, but please note there is NO air conditioning this was a challenge for us as it was so hot, fans can be supplied if required at a small daily charge. The pool area(with free sun loungers) and bar which are spotlessly clean are lovely, the drinks and food were reasonably priced. The on site mini market was great for getting essential items without carrying them from the main centre. All the staff were super friendly and helpful . The apartments are only about a 5 min walk to the main shopping centre . Lots of bars and restaurants . We really enjoyed the Mogan centre which is the new shopping centre with every shop you can think of and excellent restaurants, The Tipsy Bee gastro bar has amazing food I would recommend the Ribs and homemade wedges . The main bus stop is a 5 min walk where we got the bus to Puerto de Mogan (Little Venice) which is a stunning place to visit . We would recommend the Montebello to anyone looking for a clean place handy to the shops. Please keep in mind the air conditioning as we stayed in Nov/Dec it wasn’t too bad but would be very challenging in peak summertime .

El hostal tiene una muy buena ubicación, a 7 min del aeropuerto, tienes un bus desde el aeropuerto que te deja a 2min andando del hostal,la linea 3. Y ademas tienes las cocheras como a 5 min andando que salen muchos bus,para diferentes lugares de la isla. La playa esta a 6 min andando por el puerto,las vistas maravillosas . Y decir, el hostal muy basico, habitaciones con nevera y ventilador, amplias,estan bastante bien calidad,precio. Pero hay limpieza que eso es importante. Para mi lo mejor los recepcionistas,el señor de la mañana y Samanta, la chica de por las tardes, super atentos y encantadores. Repetire,me he venido com muy buen sabor de boca.

I stayed here for 6 nights in February 2023. Normally I would prefer my own place but they are at a premium in Arrecife and there is no way I would stay in a soulless purpose built resort. The main reason I chose this place apart from the location was the fact that the rooms have fridges. It's not a five star hotel but for what you get the facilities are pretty good. The staff are lovely and the rooms well appointed with comfy beds, a well appointed bathroom and of course the fridge. The pictures also showed a kettle but this was missing but they said it was fine to take a small one from the communal kitchen. The kitchen too is well appointed with everything you need to cook and prepare meals and there are several supermarkets close by as well as ATM's. The location actually is brilliant - a few minutes from the lagoon and the shopping area, 10 minutes from the bus station and maybe half an hour to the beach. The terrace is lovely for relaxing and reading. The only problem really was the fact that the walls are so thin - some of those who stay here seem to be long term residents and the couple next door made an awful racket getting up in the morning with music blaring our and doors slamming. You can hear almost everyone in the corridors. I left after 6 days and went to La Graciosa for the weekend and then spent one night in a room without its own bathroom which was much quieter and had a small balcony. In some ways this was better although I do prefer my own bathroom. All in though it's a good place to stay for those on a budget.

El hostal tiene una muy buena ubicación, a 7 min del aeropuerto, tienes un bus desde el aeropuerto que te deja a 2min andando del hostal,la linea 3. Y ademas tienes las cocheras como a 5 min andando que salen muchos bus,para diferentes lugares de la isla. La playa esta a 6 min andando por el puerto,las vistas maravillosas . Y decir, el hostal muy basico, habitaciones con nevera y ventilador, amplias,estan bastante bien calidad,precio. Pero hay limpieza que eso es importante. A 5 Star place !! All was just perfect: very responsive host, all needed information was provided on a video. Easy check in/out. Very clean room and other facilities, possibility to make a hot drink, comfortable bed and pillows. A bit out of the city, you will need a car to access. Thank you very much, we had a pleasant and relaxing night:)

We have been coming to this hotel for 18 years and have visited over 20 times last time in June of this year and have always left a positive review and have Never left a bad one but not this time. I am not sure if it has changed hands since June but has gone down hill massively. We always request a room along the road which there are about 20 + but was put in a room facing the total oppisite direction and away from the road which they said is because the rooms were full which if fine but then we see 3 other couples that day get one of the many rooms on the road which we had asked for and when we got speaking to them they had not requested any room. We also was told we could not check in until 3 pm when we arrived at 11 am but then see others check in from 11.30 for the rest of the week, so was lied too and requests are not looked at or they do the opposite to what you have requested. Anyway our aircon leaked and had to put towels down on bedroom floor, freezer door had been broken off inside fridge so couldn't use, had a army of ants crawling along kitchen worktop from the moment we got in room, every night when we got in we would have 10- 15 cockroaches in kitchen area and would run back under fridge when lights went on, even see 3 in the fridge, our beds were not changed the whole week and 5 nights in asked if they could be changed at reception but 1 bed sheet was left on the sofa the next day folded nicely with a cockroache bedding down on it so never got changed and ended up washing bedding myself in kitchen sink.People obviously smoke in the rooms as the fabric sofa stunk of smoke so we used blankets in wardrobe to put on sofa so we could sit on it and not smell like a ashtray but they also smelt and had what looked like half a dinner stuck and dried onto it so they are not cleaned either,. Sitting in the room this morning at 5.55 am with door open and a boy of around 18 years old walked in, don't think he see me sitting in corner and when I said to him what are you doing he kept putting his had to his mouth like a smoking action so think he panicked and made out he wanted a cigarette as he did not speak English or Spanish, i don't smoke so told him no. People were out waiting for sunbeds at 8. 50 am and beds are not unchained until 10 am with only a handful of umbrellas so if you stood a chance of getting a sunlounger you were waiting for a good hour before the padlocks were unlocked!!! Caleta itself now feels very unsafe and was approached many times for money, cigarettes and if I wanted to buy ***** which has never happened before, we are only in our 40's so would feel very intimidated if i was older. Definitely will not return as gone down hill so much especially the hotel, shame. Going home today luckily and never felt like that before in 18 years.
