八海山醸造所の魚沼の里で勧められて日帰り温泉へ行きました。日帰り温泉の受付が15時まででぎりぎりに入れました。折角なので、混浴露天風呂へ行きました。脱衣所や洗い場は別々の混浴で、源泉掛け流しの内湯の岩風呂は少々熱めの気持ち良い湯で8割くらいが竹の壁で仕切られています。混浴になったところから出られる大露天風呂はとても広い上に屋根がなく、折しもちらつく雪のためか、湯口近くでなければちょっとぬるく感じました。大露天風呂と仕切られた小露天風呂は温泉掛け流しを活かした丁度よい湯温でした。ロビーもいかにも温泉宿という雰囲気で満足できました。

Hotel has good heating so perfect for winter stay. Nice fireplace area and nice holding area before stepping out into the cold. The hotel is down a hill from the main thoroughfare. A bit slippery downhill when it becomes icy. Run like a hotel so maybe a bit cold compared to a bed and breakfast. Onsen bath seems a bit dirty with things floating in there compared to other hotels we stayed at. We needed to move to another hotel which is 2km away and the guy offered to drive us there for 2000 yen! Just 1 luggage each and no skis. So on the whole just cold. Breakfast was 1000 yen seemed simple so we skipped and opted to eat in town instead. Probably won't stay there again.

其實這家旅館不差，只是負責人的回應讓我們體驗不好！😔 ❌訂了四人床（加錢了，兩人入住），但是只給了雙床我們，而且協調時不給我們解決，硬要我們找trip的客服，重重難關/溝通才給我們原本應有的東西我們。因為這樣，耽誤了我們2個小時的滑雪時間！ ❌門鎖壞了，又要換房間，又耽誤時間了 ❌放鑰匙的密碼形同虛設，每個房間的都一樣 ❌圖片顯示的是有床架的，事實確實榻榻米 除了負責人的問題，其他一切都很好： 👍衛生做的很好，雖然是公眾浴室、廁所，但很乾淨 👍有飲水機、微波爐 👍旅館管理的阿姨人很好，會耐心幫助我們 👍有乾燥室放雪具 👍走去雪場只要2-3分鐘 👍房間有小陽台，風景很不錯 ⚠️房間的暖氣5pm-10am供應 ⚠️沒有睡袍、毛巾，需要自備

Keiko was a lovely host. She was super friendly and welcoming to the area. She was available for any questions we had and was also able to provide a freshly cooked breakfast/dinner at a very small cost. There was free parking behind the accommodation which was great as we had our own entry/exit after hours. The room was spacious, but while the heating wasn't very strong, the bedding was extremely warm and comfortable. Would be more than happy to stay here again any time we're in the area!

The host is very nice! And the location is close to where we ski (石打丸）but pls noted that there won’t be and dinner provided and you need to prepare it yourself (the supermarket is 10mins apart), it better bring your own dinner before arriving the hostel. They provide gear rental services and the price is quite fair.

An old hotel with a small car park but extremely wonderful views and fabulous food. Great care taken during the COVID-19 time to protect their clients. Right next to the beach and the bath that has a great view of the Japan Sea. Our room 1002,had amazing views and the rooms are huge, really huge with a fridge, TV, kettle, large bathroom and toilet. They even provided a relaxing CD to listen to on their room CD player. Staff were great and very attentive. Go, you will enjoy it!

It was very affordable and the service was extraordinarily good. They gave us seagull food with which we could feed the seagulls, that they would come very close to us. Furthermore they took us around by car and the man showed us a shrine and a temple on Sado Island. You should be able to speak Japanese though.

6we had a lovely stay in this comfortable lodge run by Takako-san and Shunichi-san. lodge. Our room was warm if a bit small for two big Aussies am with lots of stuff. It also has a tv! Breakfast was delicious. We even had dinner here one night which was tasty and convenient. The hosts offer coupons for discounted ski tickets. They also made a reservation for us at an izakaya down in the lower Myoko village. We stayed here 3 nights and had our own car. They offer a shuttle service to the main resorts and up the hill to Akakura onsen for dinner. I’d stay here again.

We enjoyed the food there. Our host and hostess were very courteous and friendly. I needed to do our laundry after a week of traveling and they showed me how to operate the washer. If you plan to visit that region, do not miss out this place to stay!

Highly recommended. Clean traditional rooms with comfortable futon beds. The onsen downstairs is lovely after a day of skiing and staff are extremely kind and helpful! No frills here but everything you need for a comfortable stay.
