Hotel 2-Star di Texas, United States

We booked a handicap room for my husband who is wheelchair bound, but the layout of the room and bathroom were not easily accessible. We were excited to learn that they had a free shuttle from the hotel to the airport and that we could leave our personal vehicle there for $10 per day vs. at the airport which was much more expensive. The shuttle was there on time and was wheelchair accessible which was fantastic! Upon our return, however, the shuttle was NOT wheelchair accessible, and the hotel denied having a wheelchair accessible shuttle (I guess we dreamed our departure). I ended up having to leave my disabled husband at the airport, ride in a dilapidated van and go alone to the hotel to retrieve my personal vehicle and return to the airport to pick up my husband. The hotel employees were very friendly during our stay but were very rude upon our return and belligerent when we requested a wheelchair accessible shuttle for our return to the hotel to pick up our vehicle. They even went so far as to tell us we didn't stay with them, even though I still had our reservation documentation/confirmation. That was very disappointing.

The room is larger than several other hotels at the same price, the toiletries are basically not mentioned, and the toothbrushes are definitely not available in the United States. The service is OK, there is a shuttle bus that needs to be reserved. The gym is also a little bigger than other hotels. There is a Denny's next to it, it is convenient to eat, there is a gas station behind, and there are basically small supermarkets inside. Anyway, the hotel in the United States of America is about 200 dollars. The worst in the world is the United States Hotel.

The room was neat, quiet and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast included omelets and meat patties, and the yogurt and milk were of good quality, which was considered good among American breakfasts! But the room smelled of perfume or aromatherapy, which was not very accustomed to! The location was in a small alley, and there was a bar on the corner, so I was a little worried about going in and out at night. It was about an 8-minute walk from the river walk, and there was a popular BBQ restaurant along the way. It was about a 13-minute walk to the Alamo Museum. A very cost-effective hotel!

Me and my fiancé loved the experience with tru they were very nice and the room was very clean and comfortable we will definitely be coming back and bringing our other 2 kids ❤️.

Very close to the airport, outside the arrival hall, the airport bus stop to call the hotel, and it will be there in a while. The hotel is very warm, the lobby on the first floor is very comfortable, the breakfast is very convenient, the room wall is brick-style, and the staff is very friendly. There is a swimming pool and gym. There are shopping malls around. It's just too hot.

Hotel location was okay. Parking is free. Very near the stockyards. Breakfast was okay, free coffee throughout the day and night.

The motel is located conveniently near the airport. They have free shuttle to and from the airport. The place is pretty old but it was clean. If I had to stay due to layover, I would stay again.

overall was a pretty good stay. the room was spacious. However my window only has 1 light layer of curtain, and not the light-blocking/thicker one. when i phoned the receptionist, she basically ignore my complaint by saying there is one (there wasnt, i even showed her the photo there was only 1 layer instead of 2). she said will ask someone to check the next day, but there wasnt anybody checking nor added. im still giving 4-star overall for the location, parking, and spacious room.

Holiday Inn, owned by InterContinental, has always been the first choice for working families to go on vacation. The breakfast, bedding, hygiene and service are quite satisfactory. Fortunately, I was able to enjoy the bar concert in the ventilation duct for free for 2 consecutive nights, which was full of Mexican flavor! However, the deposit has not been returned after 2 weeks!

This hotel is almost perfect for an overnight stay in McAllen. Below are the reasons: 1) Close to airport, less than 4-5 minutes of walking, hotel facing terminal and you can see it. 2) A huge mall within walking distance from hotel, 5-8 minutes, with eateries, food court and shopping. 3) Rooms are clean, with a fridge and microwave. 4) There is a pool and gym facilities. 5) Staff are polite, knowledgeable and friendly. Below are what I felt a little short, or else would be perfect: 1) Shuttle bus runs only from airport to hotel. Given the close proximity of the two properties, shuttle bus can be utilize to other places of interest, like shopping mall. 2) No meat option for breakfast, like sausages or bacon. 3) Water pressure for basin and shower can be stronger.
