The hotel's soundproofing is average. Living on the fifth floor, you can hear people talking loudly downstairs. Casas del XVI is a truly special place—understated yet luxurious. The property is impeccably clean, the staff are warm and welcoming, and every detail feels thoughtful and unique. Each courtyard has its own distinct charm, making the experience feel intimate and personal. The dining was excellent, beautifully prepared and memorable. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to stay longer and never leave.

The most recommended is the bed. Very soft, lying in the feeling of being wrapped, sleeping with a mask. The room is large and the location by the door is very quiet. Following an error made at the reception, I was upgraded, which allowed me to discover the premium floors of the hotel. The rooms do not differ much from those on the other floors. But the roof top service is much more personalized, the view is superb. I enjoyed the experience very much.

Hotel location is very good, downstairs is a relatively large high-end mall in Santo Domingo, opposite the largest supermarket, shopping is very convenient, convenient transportation, hotel clean and good breakfast!
