Hotel 5-Star di Ma`an, Jordan

The purpose of my visit was to experience Petra. Overall the hotel was great. The staff were friendly and competent. The rooms were a little dated ( my window was making so much noise during a windy night) compared to other modern hotels like the W but having said this they were perfectly functioning and large. The food was good but not blowing my mind ( perhaps the menu can be updated as well). The location was very convenient to get to and from Petra with a free shuttle provided multiple times through the day. Considering the purpose of my trip, this was a great value for the price, location and helpful staff.

Nice, slightly older hotel in a good location, right in front of Petra's visitor gate. The gym is clean but a bit old and rather small. Breakfast was okay. The egg station is good. The selection is alright. Overall, it's pretty decent. However, the coffee at breakfast was undrinkable – I couldn't drink it at all. But then again, I'm spoiled, living in Austria next to Italy.

A decent hotel overall. Nice view from the terrace, and it's clean. Dinner costs an extra 20 JOD per person, and there aren't many other dining options around. Dinner included BBQ, soups, and salads. Breakfast was a bit sparse, with a lot of local cuisine and not much in the way of European options. The town itself is pretty empty; there's really nothing to do there besides visiting Petra.

The hotel was a 5 min drive from petra away from the hustle. The staff were so friendly and helpful especially Khalid the restaraunt manager he went out of his way to ensure we got what we needed. The views from the hotel were amazing

The hotel is a wonderful and careful resort in the least detail , full of history . Unfair cleaning of the rooms and bathrooms. Restaurant with a variety of buffet and quality for dinner and breakfast. Excellent staff service , friendly and comfortable. That's a great choice!

Had an amazing time, the staff were friendly and helpful giving us great advice about petra and when we shared it was an anniversary they went above and beyond to make our stay special.
