Hailey bbThe room size is big enough and we cant find any hotel have such a size in Nagoya. All the staff are polite and able to communicate in English. This is exceptional compared to my experience in OMO... in Osaka where I needed to use Google translation app for communication. If you really want me to say any room for improvement, I would advice that the cleaning service. This is not about the 3 days deeping cleaning policy. It is about the slippers where they all threw under the seat or table. And I can also find that there are tissue or snacks under the table after cleaning. Anyway, I like this place and will definitely consider it again next time when I visit Nagoya.

Guest UserEvery time I visit Nagoya, Tokyu Hotel is my top choice. It's a well-established 5-star hotel in the Sakae shopping district, with a drugstore right outside and an airport bus stop nearby, which is super convenient for not having to drag luggage to the airport. However, my experience this time was just so-so. There was a strange odor throughout the entire floor, and while the room was spacious, the air conditioning was ineffective – it ran all day but never cooled down. My comfort level was pretty average, and to top it off, the price had even gone up.

ShokiYuiThis is my second stay at a Mitsui Garden Hotel, the last one being in Tokyo. The hotel chain consistently offers great service. This particular hotel is very close to Nagoya subway station, about a 5-7 minute walk. There's an underground shopping area right below where you can eat and shop, and a 7-Eleven across the street for breakfast or snacks. Within about a 5-minute walk, you'll also find popular eateries like Sekai no Yamachan, Isomaru Suisan, and Torikizoku, which is very convenient.

Anonymous UserThe location is pretty good, just one subway stop away from Sakae, making getting around quite convenient! It's right next to Matsuzakaya and Parco, which was handy for shopping when a typhoon hit Japan. The room was quite spacious for a Japanese hotel. I'd definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Nagoya!

EthanY_The convenience of transportation and dining at Nagoya Marriott needs no further explanation. Let me offer a few valuable comparative insights.
All superior rooms, including corner rooms, are small with no dining table and no separate shower area. If you're traveling with children, I recommend booking a deluxe twin room. If you notify the staff, they will push the two beds together, making a very large bed, approximately 2.4 meters wide.
Deluxe rooms are primarily located on the east and west sides of the building. The advantage of the west side is that the room gets sunlight all day, so clothes hung on the curtain rod are sure to dry completely in a day. The downside is that the train station is below, which might lead to noise. I haven't stayed there, so I can't confirm. The pictures on Ctrip show rooms on the west side. The advantage of the east side is that it's quiet. The downside is that the dining table in the room is a movable one instead of a fixed one, making it slightly smaller. The room only gets sun before 11 AM, but it won't be exposed to scorching afternoon sun. I stayed in an east-side room; please refer to the floor plan I uploaded.
Overall, I recommend it, given the convenient transportation and dining. However, staying at a transportation hub does feel a bit disconnected from local life, being far from residential areas, so there aren't many izakayas nearby. Also, note that the station downstairs closes after midnight. If you return late, you'll have to walk around to the west side of the building to enter the hotel.
Furthermore, the voltage in Japanese hotels is 110V, which isn't enough to power a Dyson hairdryer brought from overseas.

This was by far the most stunning hotel of our trip! As soon as we entered the lobby, we were captivated by the panoramic views of Inuyama Castle, and the surrounding scenery was perfectly integrated. The rooms were comfortable, spacious, and well-designed, with every room offering a fantastic view. We were provided with three sets of sleepwear and yukata, which added a wonderful touch of ceremony – I especially loved the pure linen yukata! The Uraku-en Garden was exquisite; walking through it on a rainy day felt like stepping back into ancient times, truly moving.

Anonymous UserThis is more like a service apartment. The room has a stove and even a washing machine, which takes up space in an already small room. The living area feels a bit cramped, with the large bed almost facing the TV directly. The view outside the window isn't great, and I'm not sure if that's because I booked through Trip.com. On the positive side, the VIP lounge on the 18th floor is excellent, with good food and service.

StekmerThe location is inside the Toyohashi Station which makes arrival a and departure by train very easy.
The room was clean and comfortable and my request of a room on high floor with extra pillows was provided.
There is a free coffee machine at reception.
Entry and exit to the station requires walking up 4 or 5 steps and then an escalator as the lift access is not available to L2 from the foyer (available from L2 to Lobby).
I found the room cleaning arrangements to be more complex than others (9 this trip) I have used.
I would stay again based on the room quality and view from my 12 floor window.

I stayed here for a business trip and was really impressed with the location – it's super convenient for both the airport and the expo centre, which made getting around a breeze.
The breakfast was a real highlight – plenty of variety to choose from, and I especially loved the omelette (perfectly fluffy!) and the comforting porridge. A great way to start the day.
Also appreciated the gym – nothing too fancy, but enough to get a good sweat in and shake off the jet lag. Clean, functional, and never too crowded.
Overall, a solid choice if you're in town for events or need easy transport links. Would definitely stay again!

The room is spacious and well equipped. It's a bit far from Nagoya station and not many buses around the hotel. It's a bit inconvenient. There's shuttle bus available in the morning on weekdays. Longer service time on weekends. Maybe the hotel is busy, the lounge staff wasn't too friendly. I have short hair but I found a long hair on my bed under the blanket. The bedsheet has some black colour fabric fibers but I wore light colour pajamas.
