Hotel 4-Star di Pichincha, Ecuador

Awesome stay at the best hotel in Mindo. Thanks to Marco and team for the superb service, always quick to respond to any enquiry on WhatsApp even before I arrive. He also arranged a driver to pick me to/from Quito, who came in a 4 door 4wd but despite limited English, was really nice and drives safely. Location is convenient as they can always call for a taxi which arrives in minutes and going to town is $3. Birdwatching-wise was good in the hotel, I saw 20 species in 2 days with 2 toucan species, bronze winged parrot and crested guan particularly memorable for me but hummingbirds are few. The room balcony is very productive but the upstairs main lounge has different variety of birds. I stayed in the luxury cabin which is on a more secluded and slightly higher area than the deluxe cabin. Generally very quiet except for odd moments where loud music can be heard for a couple of songs in day time and also for some reason at around 9pm the dogs bark for 5-10 mins. But overall, very relaxed and restful stay and definitely recommended to stay here. The saddest part was not staying longer.

The service and care I received from Old town suites Quito is the best that I ever received for all the hotels I have stayed. My flight arrived at Quito in the early morning around 6:40am, I got to the hotel around 7:40am, hotel front desk employee Francisco took my luggages, provided me power cord to charge my phone, and even gave me a delicious breakfast. I felt I have been welcomed into my new home in Quito. The hotel provided milk, yogurt, bread, juice, cheese, eggs, ham, vegetables and fruits for making breakfast yourself or you can tell them ahead of time and they can prepare breakfast for you. I have had amazing experience in this hotel. The hotel location is great and you can walk to old town attractions. I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Quito.

Good: In Quito hotels, xoe's TV should be first or second best. Bad: sleeping is particularly uncomfortable, even I will doubt that the last tenant has not cleaned up after leaving, I will feel itchy when I lie down, this quilt feels like it has been used for 5 years, even the cotton has been washed off. I suggest replacing a new quilt and four-piece suit and strengthening the cleaning.

Choosing this hotel for my business trip to Quito was a fantastic decision! The hotel environment truly lives up to its reputation as a garden hotel. The front desk service was excellent and efficient, the restaurant food was superb, the breakfast buffet was plentiful, and there was even a gym. The hotel is located in a safe area near a large park in the city center, where you can also exercise and take walks. I will definitely choose to stay at this hotel again next time I have the opportunity to visit Quito. Very satisfied! 👍

Woman didn’t recognize our booking but luckily found us a room anyway. Wasn’t what we booked, but at least it was a place to sleep. No amenities we could enjoy. No shower soap, closed pool, breakfast was scant. More like a motel.

Really enjoyed this beautiful hotel in Quito Historic Old Town. Large comfortable rooms. Terrific Breakfast included. Nice restaurant with good menu choices. Best of all was front desk service. Especially Roger*

good surroundings, taxi station across the street but 20 min walk form metro station, a lot of dining places around and a big commercila mall wothin 10 minutes walking, room equipment is OK.

Absolute five-star praise, 15 minutes from the airport, 40 minutes from the city, the hotel will pick up and drop off the plane for free. The hotel is located in the suburbs and the surrounding environment is excellent. The garden in the hotel is a bird watching holy place with more than 30 kinds of rare birds. Hotel facilities are good, service is good, suitable for business travel, meetings.

Close to the airport and pet-friendly hotel! The hotel is located in a safe area, about a 15-20 minute drive from Quito airport. The grounds are very large and fenced. The hotel itself is designed in a colonial style. There are several lounge areas, both indoors and outdoors. There's a pool, sauna, Turkish hammam, and billiards. The room was very clean. I was happy that we could stay with our dog without an extra charge! Breakfast was also included in the room rate. For breakfast, there were fresh fruits, yogurts, smoothies, and a standard selection. The staff speaks English and are friendly and helpful with any questions. The atmosphere is very calm and safe.

The most satisfying hotel during my business trip to Latin America. I have booked Hilton for everything else. Holidayinn is better. The breakfast was delicious. The front desk was polite and friendly. The room is relatively large and the hair dryer needs to be called separately. The price/performance ratio is very good. The location is also okay.
