The warmest and warmest hotel in the whole trip to Iceland, the location, facilities, cleanliness are very good, especially recommended.

THIS IS OUR MOST AFFORDABLE LUXURY STAY IN ICELAND 😭💯😭💯😭💯 IT FELT SO LUXURY AND FOR THE PRICE I PAID I COULDN’T BELIEVE IT EVEN MORE ONCE I GOT THERE. THE PRIVATE HOT TUB WAS A BLISS 😭 me and my friend had to skip common hot tub facilities that other accoms offered as it is either far from our room or it is open late in the evening meanwhile this one is private and u can use whenever except the jet has to be off after xx hour to not disturb the other rooms. I just love how private your room can be and just the view of akureyri while it was still bright outside to how the lights from Akureyri just blast your view and overlooking the mountain. Loved the dark rich interior vibe North Mountain View Suites is giving. Everything is nice. The design is just chefs kiss—i felt so rich and expensive lol. There’s even netflix and youtube and big modern tv in the room, private tub which you must dip yourself!!!, bath robes, hanger, literally not just big fridge but also freezer?!?! and yes, the suites leave a mint chocolate, coke, sprite and spring water in the fridge pls have it!!! There’s even oven 😭😭 Yes, the room is complete and have everything. IT IS JUST SO PERFECT!! If you love the mint choc (sirius brand), please drop by Bonus supermarket and you can get it for cheapest price (cheaper than Netto too!!!) oof yes we went to Netto and Bonus in Borgarnes all to hunt the exact mint choc bar 🤭 If you’re in Akureyri, please book this suites!!!! Luxury suites but the price that I got just made it unbelievable 😭💯😭💯😭💯

Very clean and spacious apartment. Well equipped kitchen and cosy apartment. Apartment can however get noisy from the streets below. Perhaps it was the weekend.

Good location with a nice room and a very comfortable bed. The hotel is right next to the shopping street, and the whale watching companies are only about a 10-minute walk away, which is very convenient. Don’t forget to try the forest hot tub — it’s an absolute must and one of the highlights of the stay.

The hotel's location is suitable for a one-night stopover. Since it's located on a mountain, there are no restaurants or supermarkets nearby. The hotel does have its own restaurant, and the surroundings are beautiful, with a sauna available. It's a pity there are no other facilities.

The cottage has a lot of amenities which allowed us to wash and dry our clothes in the middle of our 11-day trip. It is located on a quiet hillside and the place was clean. We are very pleased with our stay there.

Love the outdoor hot tub and easy access from bathroom. Spacious and well equipped cooking area Love the living area as well. Too bad didnt manage to catch Northern lights.

Very convenient, after the whale watching at the pier, it will be opened to the apartment in a few minutes, behind the chapel. Because it is a room on the top floor (third floor) there is no elevator, you need to carry your luggage up and down, the stairs are not spacious. The living room is spacious and the room is relatively small. I cooked dinner in the apartment and the kitchenware was complete. It should be noted that the check-in method should pay attention to checking the email or it is best to contact the landlord one day in advance to get the key.

This was the best hotel of our Iceland trip, even better than the much more expensive Glacier Lagoon hot springs hotel. The mattress was comfortable, everything was clean and hygienic, and the shower was spacious. The facilities were new, and the breakfast was exquisite – they even had latte art, which is rare to find in Iceland, and it wasn't just from a machine or a pot! It's definitely the best choice when visiting Akureyri.
