This resort hotel is so beautiful. It is convenient to drive here. It is ten minutes away from Matera scenic spot. We were treated to champagne when we checked in. The hotel yard is beautiful, and there is a landscape swimming pool where you can watch the sunset. The room has a small kitchen where you can cook instant noodles. The breakfast is not very good, but it is very exquisite. There are few guests here and it is very quiet.

Excellent hotel but way out of town in a lonely industrial area, perfect for those with a car. Wifi in some rooms is quite disappointing too. other than that, modern facilities including swimming pool (closed in December obviously), ample car park, large bedrooms, and superb breakfast.

Amazing hotel with cave like design, super clean room, the only drawback is we needed to carry the luggage up the hotel as it’s located slightly up the hill, the hotel staff was very helpful to have helped, it was worth the walk.

The room is very new, with a modern layout that fits the characteristics of Matera very well. We can fully appreciate the hotel's careful layout. The hotel patiently answered our questions. We were very satisfied with the bedding and bathroom. The room was warm. I will come again if I have the chance.

Everything is good about this hotel. Breakfast is the best in my two weeks Italy trip. Just one suggestion: please ask for a shuttle at the parking if you drive to Matera. Otherwise it is hard to walk there with luggage and you will easily lost in similar small roads.

I didn't find our room at the front desk, but there was an order, so it may be that the room type has been upgraded for us. The area is larger, but it is in an underground cave.
