Hotel 4-Star di Irkutsk, Russia

We chose this hotel again for our return trip, this time opting for a twin room. The previous king-size bed had a very soft mattress; it would wobble with the slightest movement from the person next to us. Light sleepers should be cautious when choosing a king-size bed. The single bed was a rare find here, measuring 1.2 meters, and quite comfortable. The only drawback was that there was only one power outlet between the two beds (unlike the king-size room which had one on each side of the bed), but there were four USB ports for charging, which was a bit slow but still usable. There were quite a few Chinese guests, and the restaurant provided disposable chopsticks 😂, as well as a variety of teas to choose from (not tea bags). The fried eggs, though slow, were presented with a very elegant presentation 😄.

A taxi to the hotel was already 6:30 pm. There was no waiter reception at the entrance, and a few luggage was pushed by themselves. Arrived on the floor, no lights were on, very dim. The room is OK, in fact, it is an executive suite, it is a bit too much to call a presidential suite. The living room and bathroom have heating, the room is not open, you have to open it yourself.

This is not the first time I have had to stay at this hotel and I can already understand some difference between the rooms that the hotel provides for the same price. A standard room with a double bed can be either large and dark, or small, as in the photo, but with a window that provides decent light. On the plus side, I would like to note the friendliness of the girl at the reception. She helped me return things that I forgot in the room last time, and arranged for breakfast to be taken with me. True, for some reason I was asked to go downstairs to the reception desk to pick it up, and then go all the way upstairs so that it would eventually be delivered to my room late. My advice: NEVER take breakfast with you. They brought me absolutely nothing from the buffet; breakfast looked more like dull, tasteless sandwiches made from what they serve on the plane. And it cost 1000 rubles. And no coffee. This is how the pros turned into cons. The last biggest negative is that the room had an internal double door that led to the next room. In which they had sex all night, judging by the participants in a porn film called “who wins.” It sounded like they were doing it in my bed. When checking in, I advise you to immediately ask for a room without an internal door and with soundproofing.

I was initially going to give it four stars… but when we checked in, we had an 8-year-old child with us, and the handsome young man at the front desk said it would cost extra. I argued that we didn't need an extra bed, and that I had brought my own toiletries for the child, and he still made the exception! So, I'll still give it five stars! The front desk staff were all incredibly attractive! And their English was the best we've heard since arriving from Lake Baikal! They probably cater to Chinese customers a lot, as the restaurant even has a Chinese menu! The rooms were exactly as described on the platform! They even provided complimentary snacks in the evening, but they were too sweet for us. The location was also great, about 2km from everywhere! However, Iraq isn't very big. The only downside was the Wi-Fi – it was a bit weak, not even as good as the signal at our hotel in Lake Baikal! Haha! I highly recommend the venison restaurant in the last picture! The venison was incredibly delicious! Great value for money! Don't buy the fish in Ryukyu… it was awful…

Checking in in the middle of the night, the hotel and the room were very clean and tidy, the front desk lady was very cute, we did not have a phone card, so it was very troublesome to take a taxi, the lady was very enthusiastic to help take a taxi. Breakfast is also good and tastes good. The location is also very good, go to some attractions in the city, walking is no problem at all

Stop twice (06.10.2025 and 17.10.2025). Beautiful location - close to the airport and no noise from the road. Excellent, responsive staff - starting from the resepshne, ending delivery to the room from the restaurant. Breakfasts are great, in a cozy restaurant. Food in the restaurant of Hunters - a separate story! Huge portions, delicious food... and, for especially prudent, small guests will prepare both cash and purée with salad 🙏 Very grateful to the staff! Any request for a call to the receptor is executed instantly, without long expectations - and from the side of the waiter and from the restaurant. Thank you for your work! I will not look for other options anymore, we will stay only in the Star 🫶🏻

The stay experience was excellent! The hotel facilities are very modern and every detail in the room is very thoughtful. Toiletries are of high quality, the bathroom is very clean, hot water is sufficient, and it is very comfortable to use. The restaurant in the hotel is also worth a try, the local specialties provided are very delicious and the service is very intimate. Especially the attitude of the staff, warm and professional, gives people a great feeling of being at home. In short, it is highly recommended and will definitely come again.”

Отель просто супер. А администратор Андрей выше всяких похвал. И встретил, и проводил, с багажом помог, с такси было недоразумение, и с такси помог. Очень ценный сотрудник. Побольше бы таких внимательных молодых ребят. Завтрак вкусный, вареники с вишней это просто визитная карточка отеля. Выспались с дороги. Очень. Тихо в отеле. Дышится легко, свежо. А вечером колокольный церковный звон это вообще 🔥. Если находится внутри, то действительно понимаешь, что это купеческий двор, оправдывает название. Будто в кино попал. А картины в отеле это произведение искусства. Обязательно в следующий приезд купим домой. Вернёмся и не раз еще в отель

Extra items are charged separately, it is recommended to bring your own. The hotel has a restaurant, breakfast buffet, 890 rubles per person. Open until about 11 o'clock in the evening. Luggage storage is free. The staff can speak English and there is an elevator.

非常不錯的酒店，早餐好吃，環境優美，衞生乾淨，服務貼心。 小到牙刷牙膏，大到護髮素、身體乳一應俱全，前台的工作人員會説英語，而且態度很棒，入住前會告訴我們可以享受到的所有權益，一樓的咖啡機隨時使用，有外帶一次性紙杯。樓梯間也很漂亮，是一家還想入住的酒店。
