Hotel 4-Star di Virginia, United States

I am glad I didn’t pay full price ($350/night) for this. Great location and everything looks nice from the outside and the lobby. The room is decent from the looks but once you stay in there, you will realized nothing is working properly. The AC/Heater was not working, the control for the AC/Heater doesn’t work so the AC was blasting cold air all night on NYE!!! So we were both freezing and it was 2am! The TV only have 5 channels and 2 are the same as the other 2, so in reality only 3 channels. The TV quality is also very outdated. Feel like we were watching TV from the 80s/90s when it was the actual 2024 NYE concerts. And on the 5th channel, it is just showing how DirectTV subscription is expired, like what? The Wifi in the room is not free unless you are a Bonvoy member. There was less than a quarter roll of toilet paper on the Tp dispenser and they also didn’t provide a second roll. The body wash pump was empty and the shampoo ran out. The bottom side of the toilet seat looks very filthy as if they haven’t clean that part of the toilet seat in a while. The floor of the bathroom was also very dirty. We usually check if we can ask for a late check-out the night before, but we called the front desk with no answers. When they finally answered, they said we have to call back at 7am to let us know. Ehh Hello? The whole point of getting a late check out is so we can sleep in? So I had to set an alarm to call back at 7am to get a 1pm check out. It was a bit annoying. This was a big disappointment for me because this was supposed to be a nice hotel from Marriott as the Autograph Collection. Especially for $350 a night in the middle of Old Town Alexandria, I had expected better quality. Not to mention the chaos during check-in. Seems like there were only 4 workers there for HUNDReDs of customer. People were angry about being stuck in the parking garage and no one can help them and they gave a lady a room that currently already have someone checked-in. Apparently the lady opened the door when the guy was showering in the room. What a chaos!

Rooms are great, with great views, and they offer a fantastic free Château Press service that takes you to the local Metro station which helps a lot when travelling around the heart of Washington city. Only downside I saw was that they didn’t have anybody wash, anybody lotion and unfortunately after coming back on my second day the room only seemed to be half tidy, which isn’t anything to be annoyed about, but for the price that I have paid, I was expecting a slightly better service.

The room facilities are not bad, and the sanitation is not bad. There is a supermarket near the hotel, which is also very convenient. It is also very close to Cascade, about ten minutes' walk, and the service is also very good

I had a fantastic experience at Hotel Arlington Rosslyn The Key. The rooms are incredibly spacious, and the staff is exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Having a Starbucks and mart right on-site is so convenient, and the location is superb—being just steps away from the Metro made getting around effortless. Highly recommended!

Over all ,this is and older hotel, but it appears to be taken care of, the rugs in the halls were nice and clean. Getting into the room was a problem, you had to put the room key into the slot many times before you would get a green light to enter. This was every time you went into the room. It took 10-15 minutes for the shower water to get warm/hot, every time. I purchased a king size bed but was put in a room with two double beds. They claimed that all the king size were booked. I showed them my confirmation of a king size being booked but they said there was nothing they could do since no king size beds were available. The price was very reasonable

The environment is good, the transportation is convenient, and there are still quite a lot of places to eat around.

Very pleasant atmosphere, with many restaurants nearby. Parking included in the daily rate, which is unusual in the area. Good breakfast in a beautiful restaurant! Very interesting bar in the lobby. The only not so positive point is that there are several events taking place at the hotel, which makes parking a bit difficult and on one of the days the noise went on past 10 pm. However, nothing bad enough to discredit the hotel.

Neat hotel to try. The hotel is a little bit hard to get around and could use better signage in the halls, elevators, roads, etc. The bed was comfy, I was in room 419 and the vanity mirror was broken on one side, and the shower showed signs of mold. The room was cleaned each day, but I was not given more coffee pods. The conditioner bottle did not work. My biggest complaint is that I requested late checkout during booking, at check-in and the morning of departure. I was told it shouldn't be a problem twice but I had to call in the morning. When I did I was given some lane excuse about why they couldn't do it. Because of this, I feel like I can not trust the front desk staff. I would probably not book here again.

On the positive side, the location is excellent - in a peaceful neighborhood, yet I was in easy walking distance to the Convention Center and lots else, with a centrol location for pretty much wherever you’d like to go, as well as decent parking options.  It is also a lovely historic property full of character.  On the flip side of being old, it seems that every door sticks when you try to open or close it and it is not friendly for those who need accessibility, with stairs here and there you have to lug your suitcase up.  Back on the bright side, the little black cat who hangs out around the place is adorable and sweet and made my day whenever I ran into it.

Great get away! If you like a bunch of activities and you don’t want to be in the room the whole time they have lots of great stuff, everything was clean and it was a beautiful place.
