Hotel 3-Star di Nova Scotia, Canada

I really enjoyed how close to the airport this location was and the complimentary shuttle that runs between the hotel and the airport. It was super convinenentq for our early flight out of Halifax. The room was clean, but you can tell the place is just generally quite old. It looks like they are doing lots of things to upgrade the place but the undertone of the old building infrastructure still is quite evident. With that said I would certainly stay there again if I have an early flight out of Halifax as it is very conveniently located and overall the room was very clean so we did feel comfortable. 

The Room was clean, dated, but clean. The bed was very comfortable and coming from someone with several lifelong injuries, that's a ig deal. I actually was able to sleep decently. The food in the Hotel's restaurant was really good and the staff were friendly and efficient. My only problem was that there was a mouse that was roaming the dining area. The server apologized and tried to assure me that the hotel has pest control coming in weekly. While a good thing, it didn't give me immediate satisfaction. Used to be that a hotel would make compensation of some kind. Non was offered. But again, the food was terrific and reasonably priced given the location... but, the mice issue is a problem for me.

Only after checking in did we realize that most of the hotel rooms were under renovation. There was a strong smell of paint, and we barely saw any other guests during our stay. It didn't feel like we were in a hotel, yet the price wasn't cheap. The heating in the room was also problematic; it felt even colder when on, like cold air was blowing, which made us all catch colds. The front desk staff were very helpful though, providing extra blankets for each of us. Due to the renovations, we couldn't enjoy any of the hotel's facilities. On the bright side, the hotel is very close to the beach, and the views there are fantastic.

Had a great stay at Hilton Halifax Harbour. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly. The shuttle service to the airport was very helpful and made things easy. Would definitely recommend!

Office was closed upon arrival around 6:30 p.m but a knock at the door was all we had to do. George was quick to show us to our room by the office. Quiet location, backs onto the harbour. Very clean room. Great towels and beds and pillows. Small fridge with tea pot and Creamy instant Nescafe packets and simple instant Nescafe packets with paper cups but no stir sticks or sugar or creamers but we had our own spoon and sweetrner if needed.They have a hair dryer and iron and ironing board if needed. A chair and mirror with table to get ready while your friend is showering would be helpful in our case but not necessary. Just 2 women and o e bathroom...well, you understand. First, the breakfast was spectacular. Getting omlettes made to order is always a good thing! And the service staff were top notch. The room was very quiet and comfortable. The only issue, which may have been our room only, was that the cold water and hot water feeds in the shower were reversed. This could be potentially dangerous if someone were to crank the shower to full cold, as many of us do at the end of a shower. Instead of cold water, you would be scalded by very hot water. I mentioned this to the front desk and they said they would address the issue.

Very pleasant establishment. Clean room, friendly staff, good food for a dinner takeout and breakfast the next morning. We came in around 8pm from long ride and was greeted with a smile and an offer for takeout dinner from the restaurant on sight when it closed at 9pm. Room was clean, hot shower with good pressure, comfortable beds with warm bedding, good working A/C and a beautiful balcony view, all reasonably priced. Breakfast next morning was friendly, accommodating, fresh and better than a typical hotel included breakfast. Wonderful restaurant atmosphere and design! The place was warm and cozy. Margaret was an excellent host, very knowledgeable about the area and we were shown alot of warm hospitality. Continental Breakfast choices were fresh and delicious, and raisin bread was freshly baked. Will definitely come back if we are ever back in NS.

For the first hotel that is outside the Francophone sphere for my trip, I would rate 6 to 7 stars or even higher.

Our family of four really enjoyed staying at the Moxy Halifax. The hotel is fairly new and has a very cool vibe to it. The staff were friendly and service was top notch. We stayed in the room with 4 bunk beds and it came with 4 free drinks at the bar. The beds are spacious enough for my husband and I to share a bed. The amenities provided by the hotel were excellent. They have an amenities cabinet where you help yourself to toothbrushes, toothpastes, body lotion, sanitary pad extra towels etc. Highly recommended!
