Hotel 3-Star di Gansu, China

Sand on floor on arrival. No towels at alll in the bathroom. I called reception for towels. Ok. Next day, the cleaners clean the room and remove the used towels but didn’t replace with new ones. Again I have to call reception to bring towels. My 3 nights there, the cleaning of the floors was really poor. Floors were not swept and I could see hairs on the floor. Ok. They were my own hairs, but still. Sweep the floor! Cleaners also do not remove used porcelain cups with clean cups. The furniture, and bedding are really nice. But shame about the poor cleaning job. Also, there is no place to hang up the towels in the bathroom. Very odd.

This hostel is the best stay for my trip. Everything ais good. The hotel is decorated with woods, so mostly all are wooden made. Very classy & super clean. Very friendly & helpful stuff. Have free cleaning services. The hostel just in front of the old town which at night u can walk around. Also very near the Fu Si Miao about 15 min walks. There are plenty of restaurant just outside the hostel. Good taste and not expensive too. All the below are within walking distances

Our stay was excellent. We arrived at night, very tired after a long journey, and were warmly and efficiently welcomed. The room was clean and equipped with everything we needed. The service provided by all the staff—from reception to housekeeping and the breakfast area—was consistently kind and professional. A great advantage was the self-service laundry facilities, which allowed us to wash our clothes conveniently. Another highlight was the varied buffet breakfast: everything was fresh and delicious, and we truly enjoyed it—trying a few new dishes for the first time! The location is outstanding, just across from the station. We would gladly stay here again without hesitation and will certainly recommend it.

帶娃入住了一晚，體驗感拉滿！酒店的設施很貼心，給孩子準備了小童拖鞋和洗漱用品，床很軟很舒服，孩子一夜安睡。地理位置也適合家庭，附近有公園和商場，遛娃逛街都不愁。工作人員對小朋友特別温柔，全程服務很貼心，性價比超高，親子出行首選！

It was ok for the price. The bathroom was not really clean and I saw some hair still on the bed. They upgraded me on my room though which I thought was nice. I could not take a shower however since they either did not have any running water at some point or no hot water when they did.

Wow, what a nice hotel! Absolutely loved our stay with a beautiful view looking over the Muslim area of the town. Great Muslim restaurants in the area (one of our top meals throughout our entire Gansu/Sichuan/Yunnan trip) and everyone is so very kind. Free taxi service to bus station was a nice touch.

Overall great location and great stay. The hotel is located about 10-15 min walk to the night market, and is already located on a side street off a main road. There are shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel itself shows a bit of age but doesn’t seem overtly dirty. The lobby and hallways smell of cigarettes, as do practically all chinese hotels. Surprisingly though, my room did not have any odor, which after 9 different hotel stays this trip, was a much welcomed gift. The carpeting in the room did not seem overtly dirty but I also doubt there is extensive cleaning in between guests. Like other comments have mentioned, the single use towels are weird and I highly doubt the economics of using those instead. The shower was a bit finicky and would occasionally spray hot or cold water despite adjusting it to a suitable temperature. The breakfast was decent. There are a fair amount of non chinese guests and the hotel seems to be welcoming and prepared to host them such as having english handouts regarding your stay.

I had a wonderful time while I was staying there, staff were very helpful and friendly. They never ignored whatever help you needed. Breakfast was great with variety . I will be back and stay there again
