Hotel 3-Bintang di Macedonia, Greece

The hotel is centrally located. A white tower is within 10 minutes walk. It is a must for tourists to visit. It will give you an overlook over the coast of thessaloniki.

A couple of miles walk from the centre of Thessaloniki, but an easy walk. Can get a parking space outside, but traffic is mental and can take you ages getting in and out of the city. When walking to Thessaloniki centre you walk past what seems the immigrant centre of Greece which can be a bit intimidating but I was fine. Receptionist was amazing and upgraded my room for free. Breakfast wasreally bad, never had such bad food but what do u expect for the price I paid. I’d stay here again if I was visiting Thessaloniki but If your looking for luxury or anything 3* and up, this isn’t it 😂

This hotel is so clean and friendly. The rooms are small but oh the beds!! So comfy i didnt want to get up. The bathrooms are also small and not a lot of room to move about but adequate for one :) the room was made up every day. We had a balcony that again small but adequate for 2 to sit out on. This is a city break hotel. There are no beaches near by, it would be 35 mins in a car to the nearest. We spend 6 nights here. We found a lovely place called the AVENUE by the umbrellas design. It had amble seating outside and was very popular by locals. It overlooked the sea, we recommend going here if you want to relax. The breakfast was continental with some hot food but not much, scrambled egg and mini sausages. There was no toast !! The breakfast choice for us was a little disappointing so we did not go on 3 days of our stay. For those who like to have a kettle, bring your own as there is no room facilities. Luckily mum had bought her travel one and tea bags !! There is a small fridge in the room too. We had a comfortable stay here and walked so much as there is a lot to see here. Restaurants are plentiful nearby, just across the road 20 steps away is a fab restaurant Kanoula that was perfect.

Nea Metropolis is a lovely budget hotel in a central and convenient location in Thessaloniki’s main city centre. I have stayed here numerous times and think of it as home from home. It has undergone a spruce up and some renovation during the pandemic lockdowns, and is looking good. The staff are great: friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I love this place.

I stayed at this hostel many times and will definitely come back! The hostel has a relaxed and cozy atmosphere that you will feel right at home in. The owner, Kostas, is so welcoming and friendly as he will give you great information about Thessaloniki and its local history. He will also give you great advise on the rest of your travels around Greece! The staff are always fantastic and so friendly that you will feel very welcomed. The dorms are perfect and new mattresses have been put in which is a bonus. The area of the hostel is great as it is in the quiet old town but just a 15 minute walk from the city centre. The private rooms also have an amazing view of the sea and city. Overall, I could not recommend a better hostel to stay in :)

Very good hotel. It was a great experience. We got a free upgrade to a higher class room. The room was clean and comfortable, air conditioning and tv functioned correctly. Breakfast was fulfilling for its price. P.S. The personnel of the hotel even prepared breakfast for us because of our early check-out.

Clean, refreshing smell in all areas of the hotel, good size rooms with clean lining and towels. Welcoming and helpful staff, not just regarding the hotel but the area in general. Very pleasant stay thank you to Stelios and Maria the rest of the great staff.

Είμαστε τριμελής οικογένεια, με γιό 20 χρονών. Μείναμε από 2 έως 6 Ιανουαρίου 2025, στο δωμάτιο του 6ου ορόφου. Μείναμε πολύ ευχαριστημένοι, τόσο από τη διαμονή, όσο και από τις λεπτομερείς και ακριβείς πληροφορίες που μας έδωσαν, τηλεφωνικά και στο email. Το δωμάτιο μεγάλο, δίχωρο (το WC στη μέση), καλά οργανωμένο και καθαρό. Το διπλό κρεβάτι άνετο. Το μπαλκόνι είναι καταπληκτικό και με πλάγια θέα στο λιμάνι/ θάλασσα και με εγκατεστημένο στερεοφωνικό για μουσική. Αντιμετωπίσαμε ένα μικρό πρόβλημα με το ζεστό νερό το οποίο επιλύθηκε σε πολύ σύντομο διάστημα και με τηλεφωνική ενημέρωση για την αποκατάσταση.

We were here as part of a group tour in September 2022 and stayed for one night. The hotel is right in the centre of the city and we were able to be dropped off right outside. Check in was swift - the lobby isn't that big and there was only one lift, so one of us took the bags up, whilst the other climbed the spiral staircase. The room was compact but had enough room for everything we needed - the bedding was clean, the air con worked well, there was a wardrobe area, desk, chair and TV. There was also a fridge and safe as you'd expect. The room was clean and despite there being a very busy road outside, there wasn't too much noise coming in through the doors to the small balcony area. The bathroom was also compact, but the shower was big enough - good pressure and hot water. Breakfast downstairs was good and had a choice of hot and cold food, as well as tea, coffee and juices. The wifi was fine in case you need to use it. Overall a good short stay.

Otelin konumu merkeze çok uzak ancak havaalanını kullanacak olanlar için iyi bir tercih olabilir. Otelde çok büyük bir ses izolasyon sorunu vardı. Gece boyunca uyumakta çok zorlandık. Yan odanın ve koridorun tüm sesi bizim odamıza geliyordu. Odanın içinde de bir yerden sürekli ses geliyordu. Buzdolabı olabileceğini tahmin ediyoruz. Genel olarak oda temizliği iyiydi ancak halıların kaldırılması gerektiğini düşünüyorum. Halıların üstü temiz değildi, saçlar vardı. Yataklar rahattı ancak çok gıcırdıyordu. Rahatsız ediciydi. Ayrıca yorgandaki leke hoş değildi. Personel güleryüzlü ve yardımseverdi. Kahvaltısını yeterli bulduk ve beğendik.

I stayed here in October, and the weather was beautiful. I took one bus from the airport straight to the hotel and it was fast and easy to local. It's located about 10 - 15mins walk to the white tower and sea side. You can see the port and the cruise boat docking from the sea view. There are lots of places to eat. Room size OK, shower cubicle is very small No kettle in room for tea and it not free when you order in the hotel for a night cap. Breakfast is good not of option but good. It would be nice to visit in summer with kids.

We used the Hotel as stay over, as we had a early flight from SKG. The rooms where nice and clean; kids enjoyed the pool area and kids-playing area. The 24h reception was a benefit, as well as the team wich was really attendive. Price/value top!

Arrived Thessaloniki yesterday and stayed in the Ambassador Hotel 18 Euro taxi from airport. Nice room with balcony overlooking the pool. Hotel looks a little dated but is clean and staff very friendly Good food at reasonable prices we had the wheel of meat for two excellent. Nice large pool. Breakfast very nice. Would stay here again

Good points : - The receptionist who checked us in was very friendly and kept us well informed whenever we had questions. - We were left to check out at 1 p.m. Negative points : - The location: it's literally a No Man's Land there is absolutely nothing around the hotel. - The swimming pool: we were told that there would be 2 swimming pools, one indoors and one outdoors, however during the 5 days we were there the outdoor pool had a problem and was green they gave them took several days to completely empty it in the field next to the hotel and as many days to fill it using a small garden hose, when we asked if we could at least enjoy the indoor pool we were told that it was emptied during the summer and therefore during our stay we could not take advantage of the swimming pool once. - Cleanliness: leaves something to be desired, cleaning was only done once during our stay of 4 nights because we explicitly requested it (although every day we put ”clean the room” on our door). The joints of the bathroom were completely moldy, the terrace was filled with excrement of midges, the evacuation of the condensation of the air conditioning went directly to the terrace which made that when we used the air conditioning the terrace was flooded dirty water and prevented us from walking freely, the entrance door to the room (213) was completely smashed. - Breakfast: we could not book the room without breakfast unfortunately because there was no choice it even happened to us not to take it at the hotel even if it was paid. The value for money leaves something to be desired given the inconveniences but the 2 receptionists who did our check-in and our check-out were very friendly
