ALBERHO ALLE PORTE DI Bolgna zona residenziale e tranquilla personale in front office molto gentile e accomodante ..per chi viaggia e deve prendere un aereo o comune alzardi presto per affari dirri che va benissimo letto comodo stanza molto minimal ma ha ciò che necessita appunto per soste brevi x lavoro ecc ..nn x stare se uno ha impegni diverso r vorrebbe dormire perché la mattina si sentono gli aerei molto ravvicinati e anche la porta del giroscsle che sbatte wuanfo scendo molto presto ..per questo dico che è perfetto per dormire e prendere l aereo il gg dopo o se uno è di passaggio..comunque con me sono stati davvero gentili..

I was out of peak season, I know, and it is an average hotel, I know also. The value for money, however, deserves 5 stars. The personnel is genuinely kind and helpful, room large enough (dated furniture). Breakfast proportional to the money spent. This is a optimal choice for a cheap staying in Rimini. The position is also ok, 400 meters from the sea and walking distance form the station and the old town.

Zimmer war in Ordnung aber in die Jahre gekommen, was nicht unbedingt schlecht ist. Neben dem Hotel gibt es direkt Restaurants und eine Bushaltestelle. Das Personal war nett. Im Raum gab es jedoch recht viel Staub. Dieser war jedoch versteckt und somit nur für Allergiker problematisch.

This hotel is perfectly located between city centre and the beach. It’s also easy access to train station (10min walk) and bus 9 (airport). The bedroom was fine and bathroom was roomy and shower was good. Air con was pleasant. I didn’t try breakfast or restaurant. The safe had no keys but we eventually found them. My two quibbles: no one answered any of my emails so I had to call to double check they weren’t shut due to COVID 19 or something ; (annoying!) the cleaning starts at 7am, and frankly, the maid is the noisiest person ever. Imagine a hoover on the room next to you at 7am when you went to bed at 2am! The walls are paper thin and you hear the neighbours, which is not great, but cleaning staff can be scheduled for a more godly hour. I had the worst 3 mornings ever, up hours before I intended to be. As many travellers complained and clearly the hotel doesn’t care, I am giving only 3 stars.

This is my honest and fair review of this hotel. it does have a lot of good points but is very tired in places and lacks maintenance. Location - Juts 5 minutes walk from the main station and 10/15 minutes walk to the main square and most of Bologna's main attractions. Appearance - The hotel is officially a 3 star hotel, but it lets itself down in a number of places. In our room the wall paper was peeling at the edges, the paintwork was peeling and the chair in the room had a torn fabric seat. A programme of refurbishment is needed. Staff - Our room was kept very clean by our maid and the reception desk were helpful with maps and advise of where to go. Food - The only food the hotel offers is their continental breakfast. I was aware of this before I booked, but was pleasantly surprised how good it was. The spread offered unlimited hot and cold drinks and juices, hard boiled eggs, hams, cheeses, cereals, yoghurts, pastries, croissants, fruits and salads. One would not leave the hotel in the mornings. Rooms - As I have mentioned our room was a little tired in places and could do with a revamp. But it did not detract from our comfort, the bed was huge and clean, the bed linens were pristine and spotless. The room had air con, good black out curtains, colour tv ( although very few English speaking channels) and a safe. The room also had a fridge and mini bar, but no price list so we had no idea what the contents would cost us. Nevertheless the room was nice and quite and we slept very well. Bathrooms - Had a toilet, bidet, shower and very soft toilet tissue. Good quality towels were provided along with basic shower gels, shampoos and soap. But again it was let down by small details, the sink did not have a plug, the shower door seals have gone so it leaked into the shower floor that had a couple of cracked tiles, and there was some evidence of mould in the shower itself. WIFI - The wifi was free, very good and strong throughout the hotel. Trips - We did one trip to San Marino, which was easy to arrange. Take the train to Rimini, right outside of the station is bus stop for the bus to San Marino. My top tip for this trip is to go as early as possible so you can spend as much time in San Marino as you can. Hotel Tax - There is a charge of 4 euros per night per person. Summary - This was a convenient hotel for us as it was close to the station, and was fine for the three nights we were there, whilst some maintenance is urgently required it was not sufficient to ruin my stay, but I do think if I was staying for any longer than 3 days I may have looked elsewhere.

За эти деньги хороший отель в самом центре. Да он очень старый, старая и убитая мебель, безумно скрипучие полы, но чистое постельное бельё и полотенца, номера большие. Завтрак как для Италии неплохой - омлет и яйца вкрутую, бекон, мясная и сырная нарезка, выпечка, соки и кофе. Вообщем за эти деньги- рекомендую.

I stayed with my friend for a couple of night. Rooms were clean and fine for what paid. Breakfast has been amazing. Staff super helpfull. Check-out at 12 that helped us to leave without any rush. Perfect hotel if you need to stop or take a break from your journey

Posizione strategica per chi intende visitare anche i dintorni di Parma a due passi dalla stazione ferroviaria e dal capolinea dei bus. Camera accogliente, grande bagno, colazione gradevolissi.a e abbondante. Personale cordiale e disponibile

A slightly above average hotel in the middle of Bologna. Steps away from the park, about a five minute walk to the train station and about a five minute walk from Piazza Maggiore. The rooms are average size for a European hotel with an average bathroom. For the cost, this place is a steal. First things first - excellent front desk staff. Both ladies that we interacted with during our stay were friendly, professional, and their multi-lingual skills were excellent. They even helped me print a couple of documents that I needed one evening during our stay. Everything in the room was comfortable - bed was decent, there was a small desk, mirror, television and wardrobe. The room was quiet, walls were pretty thick concrete I believe. Good enough for a good nights' sleep each night we were there. The bathroom was decent, the most interesting thing was the collapsible bidet. Nice to have and nice to be able to put out of the way. There were a few little nooks to store toiletries during our stay and enough room to hang towels. Hot water was just right.

We have booked this place through their website and we were satisfied from the general information that we got online. To be honest it was in a very good locations. Arriving at the property we noticed that there were construction works ongoing !!! Early in the morning the noise was very loud and it was impossible to sleep. Imagine a family with 2 young children that has to wake up from that noise. The second and the biggest delusion was the apartment itself. I HAVE NEVER BEEN IN A PLACE SO DIRTY! The floor was so dirty like it has months without washing. Tested with a paper tissue… it become brown dark, disgusting. The beds were arranged with some old sheets and a couple of duvet (smelly) that was hard to sleep. Very old towels, from white they were close to grey, and with an unpleasant smell. The apartment itself was very old in furniture and equipment. Not mentioning that there was zero acoustic isolation. You can feel the next door apartment chats like they were in your room, and the road noise was crazy if your apartment with face the road. Very poor experience

This place is amazing for the price. Perfect location. SO clean and comfortable. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I felt safe and taken care of being there alone as a single female. The surrounding area felt safe and I could walk to the stadium. The Central Plaza is a short cab ride and the staff will call taxis for you whenever you want. The buffet breakfast was lovely- nothing crazy fancy but assortments of cheese, meats and sausage, pastries, eggs, fruit, juice, cereal, etc. They made me a latte. I would 100% stay there again. Just absolutely perfect.

The Hotel is very close to the airport and close to a bus stop to airport/central train station/city centre. 300mt far from a shopping centre. Only few steps from a restaurant/pizzeria. The staff was very friendly and gave us all the info needed. The hotel offers late check-in, they provide you with a pin cose to open the main door. We arrived before 11pm so didn’t need to use it.

Hotel Astoria Bologna. We got off to a bad start when we were given the wrong room and staff insisted that was the one I booked...When i showed the booking confirmation booking a room with a balcony and view (rather than ground floor over the garage and car park) they realised their error blaming the booking system !!...Why can't hotels just say 'sorry'. The room, simply furnished, was fine and the small balcony a good place to chill after a day walking the city. The Astoria is NOT city centre, and for us two fit but 71 year olds we found the advertised 'short' walk (just over a mile) to the city centre quite exhausting. The Hotel area is quiet and we felt quite safe, even late at nigh walking back. Breakfast, served indoors or outside was pretty chaotic and typicaly Italian, lots of cakes and sweet things which were very good. It would have been nice to have had some nice coffee but the 'Coffee machine' was always out of order..'It needs a service' we were told...the 'auto coffee' machine served dark brown liquid bearing little resemblance to coffee ! A clean up of the outside area where we ate would have been nice. The Astoria is a mid budget hotel, but even so not cheap...but Bologna is not cheap, so market forces dictate. The Astoria is slightly down at heel and needs a good clean and smarten up. The many staff on duty were, on the whole, enthusiastic but always so busy...they also look after several nearby apartments served by the Astoria booking system. I would like to thank the hotel for sending a nice bottle of red wine to my room courtesy of the hotel for my 71st birthday..a nice touch. Would i go back ?...sadly no...in 2023 it just isn't good enough to take my £....

We stayed here for a week and were very happy with the accommodation. It is Not a stereo typical Hotel. I would say it is more a Student halls type venue with open plan reception and a refectory style communal dining hall with a servery. There are students, holidaymakers and conference attendees all using the venue so some pay as you go users of dining facilities, hence the servery. Food was OK and plenty of it. There was a bit of a till Fuhrer lady on duty each morning, patience weary of the students, and the queue, but after showing our card she was fine. The bloke on duty with her in contrast was excellent nothing to difficult and very polite. The room was spotless, adequate and virtually nothing on the TV only 4 Italian channels. We weren't fussed as we used as a base to travel all over Italy, Rome/Vatican/Pisa/Venice, staying away for 2 nights. The train station is less than 5 mins from the hotel you can see but not hear it. 1 stop to Bologna regularly 3 euros return. Taxi at 0300 hours to Airport called by hotel only 25 Euros. Result. As said excellent base, but not a hotel. No facilities/entertainment. Vending machines only so be warned. Photos attached. Hope this helps.

Stunning accommodation in a great, quiet location! We have our dog with us, and the apartment is perfect for the summer too! The fresco floor and large balcony are fantastic features. We were able to reach everything on foot, which made exploring the area so convenient. The surrounding neighborhood is peaceful and charming, adding to the overall relaxation of our stay. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed. I would happily return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a wonderful getaway!

Uno staff molto competente..sempre gentili e disponibili per ogni evenienza..un albergo con tutti i confort..aria condizionata..portiere H24 camere comode..punto strategico dell'albergo a pochi minuti dal mare è dal lungo mare..cibo squisito..quando vai via da questo albergo vai via con nuovi amici

The overall ranking on TripAdvisor tells you much of what you need to know about Hotel Esedra. It certainly needs work. I would not have stayed here if I could’ve found another hotel with rooms available at 9pm at night when I arrived in the city, but simply nobody had rooms (and those that had rooms were selling them for hundreds and hundreds of dollars). Hotel Esedra was the only viable choice, unless I wanted to patron the local homeless shelter…although maybe they have good free Italian food there? Lol. I use an electric wheelchair, and as with many local inns in Rimini, there is no wheelchair accessibility. I felt very safe leaving my chair outside at night, and I solicited the help of a few passersby to haul my luggage up the steep staircase to the lobby and hold my hand to ensure I didn’t fall. The atmosphere is small and outdated, with no real indication of attempts to revive or refurbish common areas. The man at check-in was relatively friendly, although he didn’t speak English, so I had to rely on Google Translate and my infantile knowledge of Italian—but in any of my TA reviews, language barriers are never a factor that harms a place. The woman at check-out had some English proficiency, but having Translate handy is still wise. This woman was very friendly, going so far as to call a taxi van, help me with my luggage, and grab me some items from the breakfast buffet downstairs to-go. I should’ve gotten her name—this lady is the only shining light of this hotel at the moment! I was placed in room 105 or something similar to that, a room I hadn’t even noticed until the check-in man pointed it out—it’s a nondescript wooden door right by the main doors with a small paper sign with the room number. It’s almost like the hotel wanted to expand and include more rooms, but didn’t have the space or the budget to make them more like the rest of the property—the black sheep of the hotel? Two such odd rooms were connected to the lobby so brazenly like that, mine and another just a few yards to the right. At least I had a roof over my head, eh? Perhaps the decision to place me there was due to my disability and the attempt to reduce the amount of walking I’d have to do, which if true, I very much appreciate. But unless all the other rooms were to the same or similar quality as mine, I would’ve walked a bit more. And the type of room received anyway didn’t help my condition in the first place… My room (which was a loft-style, two-story configuration separated by a steep wooden staircase I had no interest in or energy to try climbing unaided) was not exactly dirty…it was actually clean enough. It was just OLD. So, so worn down. Rickety and loud and cheap. The bed was a single twin—with no pillows. You heard me. There were ZERO pillows in my room. Now possibly they were in the upstairs section of my room, but having a few downstairs would’ve seemed logical too. I managed to rest my head on the tiny, thin blanket on the bed and a few towels…uncomfort

We found this hotel at the last minute, it was next to the beach and next to the street that goes through town to all the shops. The breakfast was fabulous and we will go back again. The manager Rafael was I really nice person and very professional. Thank you so much!

Alla reception siamo stati accolti con umorismo e battute che definire poco gradite è un eufemismo. Una volta entrati in stanza ci siamo trovati in una lercissima topaia. Sia i muri che le tende presentavano enormi macchie di chissà cosa. La cassaforte malamente appesa a un muro e il frigobar sporco. Sfortunatamente questo è nulla in confronto al bagno. Dalla descrizione dell'hotel sembra quasi che la mancanza di un box doccia sia un pregio quando invece devi praticamente lavarti sul lavandino. Una schifosissima tenda divide il wc e il bidet dal lavandino/doccia, se non rimossa te la ritrovi in faccia qualora tu debba usare uno dei due. Punto a favore il fatto che se si toglie la tenda si può facilmente usare il lavandino e il wc contemporaneamente dato che seduti sull'ultimo ci si trova praticamente con la faccia nel primo. Unica nota positiva in questo mare di sporcizia il balcone spazioso (anch'esso tenuto malissimo)

For a long weekend at the end of October I chose the Hotel Corallo Rimini. I was really lucky to get one of the two rooms on the second floor directly facing the sea. The views were amazing. Reading previous reviews on here, I was expecting to stay in a rather noisy neighbourhood and so brought my earplugs. On Friday and Saturday night I really needed them but during the other nights I slept well without them, even with the balcony door open. The corridors are tiled and so sounds from other guests and other rooms sometimes echo. The room was certainly well-sized for one person. For two persons and lots of luggage I could imagine it being a little cramped. The room and bathroom were cleaned every day and shampoo, soap, etc. stocked up all the time. There was a TV and a fridge in the room and the wifi did work well. Best of all was the breakfast buffet and the diverse and friendly crew working there. They provide bags and containers, so after enjoying breakfast you can take away a mid-morning snack for the walk along the beach or venturing further afield. I went to an event at the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola, which is around an hour by car, if you’re willing to pay the toll for the Autostrada. Otherwise, depending on traffic, it takes more likely two hours one way if driving country roads and through the towns along the route. Parking was always available at Piazza Alberto Marvelli one block down the road and as it was off season (1 October to 31 March) parking was free of charge. Quite handy is the dm pharmacy across the street as well as Conad City a few steps down the road. All in all I had a pleasant stay at a fair price.

Abbiamo passato due notti nell’hotel Bianca Vela io, mio marito e mio figlio e ci siamo trovati molto bene! Camere e toilette puliti c’era anche un terrazzino. Colazione mista, dolce e salato ed anche un cestino con prodotti confezionati misti per me e mio figlio visto che siamo celiaci. Ma in aggiunta senza rischio contaminazione c’era la frutta, yogurt bianco e alla frutta senza glutine, marmellatine, miele. La macchina automatica per prepararsi autonomamente il cappuccino, latte macchiato, the caldo era senza rischi di contaminazione in quanto erogava caffè in grani macinato al momento e il latte era fresco all’interno di un grande serbatoio riempito quotidianamente e non latte in polvere che sarebbe stato a rischio per noi celiaci. L’orzo lo fanno con un’altra macchina. La Signora della reception ed il ragazzo della Sala e le Signore delle pulizie sempre disponibili gentili e sorridenti! Spiaggia convenzionata a 200 metri o una grande spiaggia libera a 500 metri. Ad 1,5 km circa c’è un bel parco acquatico Beach Village con prezzi molto modici! Siamo stati proprio bene! Peccato che non c’erano altre notti disponibili sennò ci saremo fermati più che volentieri.
