I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Uhland during my visit to Windhoek. The hotel is located in a quiet and safe neighborhood, yet it is close enough to the city center to reach the main attractions and restaurants within a short drive or walk. The atmosphere is peaceful, making it a great place to relax after a day of sightseeing. The room was spacious, clean, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay, including air conditioning, a refrigerator, and reliable Wi-Fi. Although the furnishings are somewhat traditional, everything was well maintained and functional. The bed was comfortable, and I had a good night’s sleep every night. One of the highlights of my stay was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with transportation, local recommendations, or any questions I had. Their hospitality made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. Breakfast was another enjoyable part of the experience. The buffet offered a good selection of fresh fruit, bread, eggs, local specialties, and coffee, providing a satisfying start to each day. I also appreciated the hotel’s beautiful garden and outdoor swimming pool, which created a relaxing atmosphere. Overall, Hotel Uhland offers excellent value for money. It may not be a luxury hotel, but its cleanliness, friendly service, convenient location, and comfortable facilities make it an ideal choice for travelers visiting Windhoek. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a warm and affordable place to stay in Namibia.

I had a wonderful stay at Tilla’s Guesthouse in Windhoek. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome with their warm hospitality and friendly attitude. The check-in process was quick and smooth, allowing me to settle into my room without any hassle. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, providing everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the room was quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. I also appreciated the secure parking area and the peaceful atmosphere, which made me feel safe throughout my visit. Breakfast was freshly prepared every morning and offered a nice variety of options. It was a great way to start each day before exploring Windhoek. The staff were always happy to help with local recommendations, transportation arrangements, and any questions I had, making the overall experience even more enjoyable. The guesthouse is conveniently located within a short drive of the city center, shopping areas, and several restaurants, making it an excellent base for both business travelers and tourists. The lady at the front desk said no to everything. The bathtub didn't even have a plug, so it was unusable. A staff member just walked into my room without knocking. The furniture is old. On the positive side, the breakfast selection was quite varied.

Clean, spacious and has everything you need for cooking utensils. You can make any dish. The staff was quick and helpful.

A very pleasant hotel! We chose it to relax after a long flight and because the Go2Namibia shuttle stop is 5 minutes away. The room is simple but clean. There's a patio, a kettle, and a liter of water is provided, with good shower pressure. The hotel grounds are very pleasant, including a swimming pool. There's a Spar nearby where you can buy wine and some groceries. There's also a restaurant and pizzeria on site, and the prices are reasonable.

The hotel receptionist is kind and courteous, and there are welcome drink and wet towels available when checking in. The room is large and clean. Hotel location is good, next to large shopping malls and supermarkets, very convenient. For travelers who arrive in Namibia on the first day of a long journey by car, it is an ideal place to rest and prepare for a long journey afterward.

It took quite a while to walk to the supermarket. Also, there was construction going on during the day. There was a toilet that didn't lock. Other than that, it was clean and comfortable.

A very special place with a beautiful cactus garden. Nature magic, silence, wild animals in the area. The bed is comfortable. It is necessary a car to enter and out. I was without, and it is a problem. The hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable.

Great staff and very comfortable rooms, great value

This is the first hotel I stayed in in Namibia. It is located in the downtown area of Windhoek. Although it is not a bustling street, it is not far from the National Museum and Lutheran Gospel Church. It is more convenient to go out. The hotel is not big, but there is free parking. The hotel's house is a bungalow, the room is moderate, there is a big bed, the furniture is simple, but practical, and there are shower facilities in the bathroom. The hotel staff is kind and attentive, patiently explaining the various facilities in the room and the service time of breakfast. I am warmhearted that the hostess at the front desk learned that my passport was lost at the foreign currency exchange office at the airport. I immediately contacted the airport and helped me find the passport. I was excited and burst into tears. This is the mistake I made on the first day of my trip to Africa. If it is really lost, It will cause a lot of trouble for the subsequent trip. Thanks again to the front desk hostess, God will bless you!
