"Friendly and helpful staff. We can get laundry on the same day. Room is clean and light design is thoughtful (we stayed in family room but I can keep light on in one bedroom without disturbing the other.) Only thing to improve is hot water pressure on shower."

The hotel is within walking distance to Phewa Lake, and there are many small shops nearby to browse. They offer umbrellas for rent at the front desk on rainy days. The laundry service is paid and outsourced. There seemed to be a communication breakdown among the front desk staff, as I had to go up and down multiple times. The second time I used the wash and dry service, some of my clothes got mixed up with another guest's. That guest had a very thick, waterproof jacket, which resulted in my clothes not being fully dried.

SoniyooThe hotel is a little far from the lakeside, so it takes a bit of extra time to get to the main area. However, the distance is balanced out by the great value for money. The rooms are clean, the staff is helpful, and the amenities are well-maintained. If you don’t mind being slightly away from the lakeside, this is a solid and budget‑friendly choice. I had a pleasant stay overall.

Loved the design and the view. Every room has a balcony. Overall it’s a nice hotel but we came during the low season so probably hence the lack of amenities. The wifi didn’t work even though the owner tried hard to solve it, for the breakfast I got a small cup of instant coffee watered down beyond belief, the pillows if you take of the pillowcase are so dirty that I was about to throw up. And it’s not that we usually stay at fancy hotels but we weren’t lucky with this one.

mammychefI took the cable car to Sarankot, it was a great experience. I had the carriage all to myself. I must say the staff were wonderful.. From the driver who picked me up at my hotel to the ticket staff, the boarding staff and exit staff I would recommend this to everyone going to Sarankot.
I stayed at The high Ground Hotel, it was basic, cheap (£12.00 per night) which included breakfast
My room was excellent and I had a nice view of lakeside from my small balcony
The room and private bathroom was was spotlessly clean.
The staff were wonderful, so helpful and very attentive.
Dinner was great, I tried sadako for the first time, I really enjoyed it after the initial shock of how spicy it was.
The only downside was the weather. It was very misty, so I didn't see the Annapurna Mountains at sunset. The morning was also misty however I did see the mountain a, even if it wasn't clear.

An excellently located guest house. Just off the main road in central Lakeside yet so calm and peaceful. Quite unbelievable really. Beautiful gardens, spacious rooms and 2 min walk to the best section of the lake in this area.
Pratigya, one of the owners, helped me decide what trekking route to take and recommended some cool extra sections that turned out to be big highlights for me. She helped, advised and booked everything from buses, permits, taxis and masseuses and made sure I had her number for in case I ran into problems on my trek. As a solo female traveler this was extremely comforting. When I come back to do one of the treks that can only be done with a guide I will be contacting her and her husband.
I highly recommend Yeti guest house and especially the owners / hosts.

This family run hotel was a great find for relaxing a few days after our trek. It is easy walking distance to the lakeside but far enough away that you don't hear the nightclubs when you want to sleep at night. The beds are comfortable and the room is well designed. There are many thoughtful touches: the table attached to the wall by the door let's you have luggage underneath, the fridge is for you to use and not crammed full of mini bar stuff, there is even a beer mug provided. The full hot breakfast has eggs, chicken sausage, potatoes, toast, fresh fruit, juice, and coffee, we were plenty well fed. You can choose to sit out in the garden area for breakfast if you like. The owner and his family were very friendly and helpful with the owner speaking really good English.

Location is good.50mtr from main road.you can find lots of restaurant nearby.pokhara lake side 10min walking distance.hotel owner is very helpful.we booked Kathmandu bus through him and our experience is very good. In clear weather you can see mount fishtail from room.

A taxi from Pokhara Airport costs 800 rupees (price in May '26). The hotel is a 3-minute walk from the lake, surrounded by many other hotels with dining options. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful with finding porters or guides. On clear days, you can enjoy views of the snow-capped mountains from the balcony.

Anna KekI had a great stay at this hostel in Pokhara, perfectly located right by the lake. The common area is spacious and уютная, making it easy to relax or meet other travelers. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the breakfasts were fresh and delicious… I’d definitely stay here again!

Comfortable bed and pillow. Nice boss. Superb location and clean room. Power outlet is a little tricky but not a big problem at all. Will definitely stay here again when I’m back in Sarangkot.
