The best hotel in Zhangjiajie ! The room and bathroom are perfectly clean, the room I stayed in was also beautiful. The location is super convenient, 5-min walk to Tianmen mountain depart station, 10-min walk from Zhangjiajie railway station and a direct bus from Zhangjiajie West Station. The receptionist answered all of my questions regarding the bus to come, the Zhangjiajie National Park, Tianmen Mountain. She was able to book all the tickets a a discounted price for me and gave me lots of information regarding the possible itineraries. When I left for Wulingyuan, she explained to me how to get there and where exactly was the bus stop. She always answered within the next 5 minutes. I had a really good time there and would definitely stay here again if I come back on Zhangjiajie.

Amazing stay! The view was beautiful and the room was very big and spacious! The pics are the views from the room. First hotel that has been very clean. The guy at reception was very kind and helpful as well. Just an fyi, you have to walk a lot of steps and the streets are made of cobblestone so it's difficult with suitcases or heavy luggage to get to any accommodation here! Try to pack light or leave your larger luggage at a storage locker at the train station

So impressed with this stay for the price! Incredible view of the river from the room and rooftop area! Location is fantastic for exploring the ancient town and the host was very friendly with good English, even explaining best areas to check out on a map in foyer. One thing to note, due to proximity to the river, the music from the river performance is a bit loud and runs late into the night. Did I mention they also have the cutest cats and dog who are super friendly!

I had a fantastic stay at Dongfeng Hotel. Very good location and very nice staff. Got a convenience about 100ft away.

Location is close by to local eats and only a quick 10min drive to the east gate. The front desk staff are available to help book tickets for all the nearby attractions and offer a small discount for those tickets as well. Highly recommend going to the romance show in the evening. We bought our tickets same day from the hotel staff and they got us front of the section tickets which was really helpful considering the venue was completely full by the showing time. Drive from Zhangjiajie was about half an hour, so just keep that in mind of you wanted this as a home base. Also knocked one point off cleanliness only because it was raining on the day we arrived and the windows in the room were open from prior, there were at least a dozen fat flies zooming around the room which we needed to dispatch of ourselves. Would definitely come here again if I wanted to book a longer stay in Wulingyuan

What impressed me most was the attentiveness of the service team. Every request whether for extra towels, dining recommendations, or late night room service was handled promptly and with genuine care. The housekeeping staff ensured my room was spotless each day, leaving thoughtful touches like neatly folded clothes and a personalized note wishing me a pleasant stay. It felt less like staying at a hotel and more like being cared for by friends who truly valued my comfort. They also having device for translation to communicate with guest from various countries. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking not just accommodation, but a heartfelt hospitality experience.

I loved the location, close to the cable car. There is a supermarket and several places to eat near the hotel. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. I had food poisoning and they helped me a lot by bringing everything I needed. I highly recommend it and would definitely stay there again.

Overall experience was great. Clean rooms, nice views. Really quiet during my stay. There is also a washer available and drinking water bottles. The location is on the 17th floor. Can be kinda confusion to find for the 1st time, but once you find it you will remember it well. Over all good price, I would recommend it. :) walkable distance to food and shopping areas.

The location was great - near to the heart of activity but far enough from the loud music from bars to get a good night’s rest. Scenery was fantastic. The heated blanket was also a pleasant surprise during winter. Special thanks go out to the owner for helping us with our luggage and offering a car ride back to the HSR station.
