This is a great little hotel. It was so unassuming that I was pleasantly surprised by the service, comfort and quality of my stay here. I half expected only an average place, but from the moment I entered the lobby and was greeted by the warmest, friendliest reception, I was totally happy. He quickly checked me in, and upon my enquiry on suitable local restaurants he informed me they have free curry right now, along with bottomless drinks (hot and cold, tea, coffee, juice and soft drinks), it was perfect, just want I needed after a long day. He also helped with parking as their hotel lotcwas full. The room was basic, but it was all clean and worked well, the bed was comfy and shower had good pressure and hot water, heaven. Breakfast the next day was also lovely, a good mix of Asian and western. I was chuffed and would gladly stay here again. The staff is very welcoming and polite. Breakfast is a handful of rice, a glass of juice, and some other stuff, completely useless. The bathroom is very small. You can get stuck in the toilet. The glass in the room's window is frosted, so you can't see anything. Who came up with this idea??? It feels like you're sleeping in a capsule, not a hotel. There's practically no window. I paid an extra 500 yen and moved to a wonderful hotel on the other side of the river; you can see it on the map.

Close to JR station and booked a Japanese tatami room. There were about 9 tatami rooms, so I was lucky to stay for 2 nights. It was nice to have a large bath. In particular, the staff were very friendly and gave a lot of advice and help on the trip. The only inconvenience was the stairs at the entrance of the hotel.

Old-fashioned buildings, sound insulation is not good, the next door action is bigger, the louder speech will be passed over. The footsteps in the corridor outside and the sound of opening and closing the door cannot be avoided. I like the room very much, but if the quilts on the bottom are not a little particular, the floor will look very hard. I honestly don't sleep well. The boss likes to chat with the guests, and he also likes exotic cuisine very much. So the breakfast and dinner here are very delicious! Especially dinner, moving! Despite some shortcomings, the flaws are not concealed.

The location is super convenient, easily accessible by streetcar or bus. They even offer free curry rice in the evenings and a simple breakfast in the mornings. It's truly excellent!

It is best to check the navigation route when walking to Avan Hotel from Sukumo Station. The parking lot under the elevated road will go around a long way. The hotel also provides a welcome drink upon check-in, which is very good. The hotel room is very quiet and clean, and the staff are very nice

The bedroom is a room with a mountain view. It is comfortable and design. The layout is very careful. It is a very rare accommodation space on the road. The bosses were very kind and left a very deep impression on this stay. In particular, they saw that there were also white clothes in the space, and they could feel the cultural link with the four countries. Location is perfect if you have a car. You can't see the view from the room, but there is no problem if you just stay. The price is also cheap. The biggest difficulty is dirty and old slippers. I think it's better to spend that cost. I think it's better to bring your mobile slippers if you go.
