I recently stayed at the Muscat International Hotel and had a great experience. The service was excellent, with the staff being friendly and helpful. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the location was convenient. I didn't have the opportunity to try the food, but there are some restaurants near by hotel. Overall, I would highly recommend the Muscat International Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay in Muscat.

Seemed more genuine. Was hoping for a little more in the way of help with outdoor activities but I had a good time here . I do hope though that when they renovate they add to rather than subtract from the potential because this place has a lot more potential than it's utilizing . Some more persian touches would make the place even better. I would come back here though it vibed. The staff were genuine and service was good. There are details of middle eastern architecture and cool niches to relax in unlike neighboring properties. I was hoping for music by the pool but not yet.

I selected the Al Madinah Holiday Hotel due to its excellent location and proximity to the Airport as well as the City Center. At first, being located in a manufacturing zone seemed curious, but it works. The area was actually quite quiet, and the hotel was extremely comfortable. Whenever I had a question or a problem, Mohammed S. in Reception was there to help. So too was Sunir H., and Moses in the fitness area. This was incredible well equipped and impressive. There was also a shower facility there as well. This was located adjacent to a large lap-style swimming pool that was also used for swimming lessons. The water was a comfortable 30°C. An on-site restaurant served the hotel and would make amazing smelling Indian cuisine, especially veggie or chicken Biryani. My room was clean and comfortable. I did change rooms during the stay, so images of both will be provided. This is a great value, and I very much enjoyed it! Thanks for a great experience!

Fairly close to the Muscat airport this place is a good stop to collect impressions from a residential area with access to the beach. The rooms are quite spacious incl. combined leaving room and kitchen.

Great location, rooms are big, it was not so clean but it was manageable. Receptionist staffs and housekeeping people are all ”strongly suggested” to go for the training to become ”well mannered and extremely polite” with all the guest. One ”exceptional” from all the receptionist is the Omani guy whose name is ”Sudiqqe” he was so helpful, always smiling and very polite, accommodating and well mannered from all. The Manager namely ”Mr. Bernard” who was so helpful, very professional and well mannered, is the one who made us feel comfortable and was trying to make us happy from the last few days of our stay in the hotel. He was the one who help us also to recovered my bottle of perfume and the pack of facemask which was ”intentionally stolen” in our room from one of the housekeeping. Overall, if your are looking for a budget friendly hotel, Mutrah hotel can be recommended.

There is probably no better place to stay in Muscat than in Muttrah with the Souq, the Corniche, the Fish Market, the Fort and the excellent restaurant Bait al Luban, all in walking distance from the hotel Naseem, still the best choice around here. The people in charge of this two-star hotel must know about it and this is reflected in the price, which was considerable higher that in all the four-star hotels (also in other parts of Muscat), that I had been using on the same trip. Good about this hotel, besides the location, was the size of the room and the cleanliness. It had a big marble writing table, a very simple open wardrobe, tea and coffee making facilities with two small glasses, but no spoon. I especially missed bedlamps. AC and the shower worked well. It was quiet at night. In the bathroom there was no storage place whatsoever. The shower had no curtain, so the bathroom floor got all wet (most other rooms I saw had a curtain, but not room 209). There was no showergel, just some small bottles of shampoo and a liquid sopa by the washbasin, which again had no plug, just a big hole. There was no bathmat, no hairdryer and no glass for the toothbrush. The breakfast buffet in the Anna Café on the ground floor was quite good. I especially appreciated the American coffee. Breakfast is available from 7 to 10am.
