Located steps away from Ximen MRT Station (Exit 4), the hotel places you in the bustling Ximending district, surrounded by shopping, street food, and cultural landmarks like the Red House Theater. This prime location made exploring Taipei effortless, with direct MRT access to major attractions such as Taipei 101 and Ningxia Night Market. The room I booked was a Deluxe Twin, which was spacious and well-equipped with amenities like a fridge, flat-screen TV, and free tea/coffee. The minimalist, ”industrial-chic” design gave the space a clean, modern feel. The bathroom impressed me with its automatic松下 (Panasonic) bidet toilet, though the shower’s poor water containment was a minor inconvenience. Housekeeping maintained high standards, with timely room cleaning. Service was efficient overall. The self-check-in kiosks streamlined arrival, and the 24-hour front desk provided helpful travel advice. While the hotel lacks elevators for upper-floor rooms, staff assisted with luggage. The free lobby coffee/tea station was a nice touch, though breakfast (available at an extra cost) offered a decent variety, including fresh fruits and local dishes. Two drawbacks stood out: soundproofing could be improved, as hallway noise was occasionally audible, and the shower’s design led to water splashing. However, these were outweighed by the hotel’s strengths. Front desk staff are super professional and helpful, particularly Ms Wu and Mr Wang, very efficient service even in the middle of the night, when ceiling has water dripping.  Very comfortable seating area in lobby with 24 hours coffee, tea and hot water.  There’s no heating, the room can get quite cold near ***** new year time.  Very close to 六合夜市 night market and Formosa subway station. Good value for the money paid.

Very pleased of my stay. Hotel is located in the center of all the visiting points, 2 minutes to Kouhua street, 2 minutes to Shenonon Street. Retired fried squid. Yum yum.

I could not believe how clean and comfortable this hotel was! It was amazing. Cosy, friendly and in a perfect location for sights and attractions. The Solaria Nisitetsu Hotel has thought of everything. There are fresh fluffy dryers for umbrellas, self-select toiletries, secure luggage lockers, and step-up stool placed next to the washing machine to help you unload the dryer, ( I had just thought a stool would be helpful, I saw it.) Right in the heart and liveliness of the city. The hotels ambience was relaxing. I arrived during a storm, the lobby brought a lovely view, international newspapers and magazines, fresh coffee and stylish decoration. It was a treat to relax there. The friendly team made a huge effort to share the best in service and create a remarkable experience, and they did. Experiencing warm welcomes and genuine kindness, I can not thank the team enough. I appreciated the follow-up on travel questions, the team shared tailored recommendations for art galleries and theatre tickets, considering and checking what was accessible during the storm. The professional reception team, shared helpful suggestions on metro routines too, with times to visit areas and sights to see along the way. These suggestions made a difference. The room standard was amazing. The amenities are five-star standard, and the cheerful housekeeping team were kind and friendly. I would like to extend a huge thank you to the team who was a pleasure to meet. There are many shout-outs for this stay. We had 6 people total so had two rooms and one room was in the newly built part of the building and the other one was in the old building. Room in the new building is much cleaner and lights are brighter. Room in old building lights are much deemer and bathroom is too old. No bottle of water, they provide water dispencer in every floor. Worst soap I ever smelled in any of the hotels. The receptionist who checked us in was very unclear with her question because we had two rooms and originally booked one family room with one king bed and 2 single beds and other room with a king bed. She asked whether 2 beds are ok and I thought she meant for the king bed as she finished with a sentence saying the king bedroom needs to be checked in later. So when we went up to the family room, I see 2 beds instead of my original request, went down to ask why and she gave me an attitude saying “didnt I ask whether 2 beds are ok” I was actually shocked with the way she approached me, did not try to clarify in a nice manner. Sorry but never going back. The photo is for the room in new building. Even if the room (new building) is clean if the service is bad, I never want to go back.

Ia mengambil masa kira-kira 7 minit dari hotel ke Ximending. Cumanya tiada tingkap, jadi senang tidur sampai lupa masa 😂 Tapi harganya agak murah.

ArTree is in the perfect location to get around. There are many restaurants and local food, street food vendors around the area. It’s close mrt train, bus and taxi services and all of the convenience store nearby. Also it’s close to the Raohe night market.Overall we are very happy with the staying in the ArTree hotel.

The room is big and spacious. We book room with a King bed. Toilet is good. Location convenient. Just 6 minutes away from chiayi TSR. 16 minutes away from chiayi HSR. Not so good is near hospital at night have ambulance sound.

The hotel is near the MRT. However, there is no clear sign to walk to the hotel at night. However, it is pretty easy to walk to the station with sunlight. The hotel is spacious, breakfast is average.

Great place to stay. Room deco is simple but with touches of quiet elegance. Design and layout are very user friendly with everything neat and in the right place. Location is convenient with the subway and a little food street nearby. Room cleaning is carried out on alternate days which is eco conscious and suits me well.

Our family was very happy with the family room we booked. It was very clean and the housekeeping does a good job everyday when they make the room. The staff are very professional. Even the staff at the breakfast was courteous and efficient. I will definitely recommend this place for our families and friends. If you want a Japanese feeling hotel, this is the hotel for you!

It's in a great location, within walking distance of public transportation and pretty much all Xinbeitou places of interest. The staff were very kind and friendly. Our room was very large and the bed was big and comfortable too. The free snacks, tea and coffee were a nice touch. I read other reviews complaining that the rooms are old and in need of renovation. The curtains were old and had holes in them, but other than that our room was in good condition. We made good use of the hot spring bath, which was our main reason for coming up to Beitou. I was surprised that bathrobes were not provided, which would have been appreciated. The bathroom stayed damp after using the steamy hot bath on the first day, but the cleaning staff wiped it down on the second day. If it hadn't been quite so cold outside we could have opened the bathroom window to let it dry out more quickly. Breakfast was typical buffet style, maybe not enough variety for typical Westerners, but we were satisfied with the selection. All in all, it's a nice hotel for visiting Xinbeitou area and having your own large hot spring bath.

The location is good and convenient to travel about. It is about 3 minutes walk and Louisa Coffee is just opposite the hotel which is on the way to the MRT station.

It was first bad hotel experience booking thru trip.com. Traveled with 2 kids under 13. We drove to Kaoshiung from Taipei. Arrived late night. There's no parking lot provided but have to park somewhere 3 walk at a opposite the hotel. Paid TWD100 per entry on the following day before leaving. The hotel looks good at the public areas, except our room. We were given a room at 6th floor. It looks like under construction and no other guests were staying on that floor. If we were not 4 together, I dare not stay alone. What was disappointed was the room is very very old. Everything old style. The carpet is dirty. We have to wear the paper slippers (the worst hotel slipperstgat I had ever seen) to walk on the carpet. We tried to push a bed to the side to the wall, but the floor under the bed is very dirty, even found a plastic slipper (not a pair). We guessed it was left by the previous guest and the room was not totally cleaned. We quickly put the bed back. The shower pipe also not very well working and weak power water. Quite disappointed. 2 Good points: 1. The hotel is near to the night market: It's just 3~5 mins walk from hotel. 2. The breakfast was quite good.

Decent cosy hotel. There’s only Taiwan local power socket available in the room so you’ll need to bring adapters. Breakfast is simple yet acceptable.

I had an amazing stay here: very clean and I love the room layout. I arrived in the evening and thanks to the staff, who was accommodating to my special request. The large room can actually fit 3 people, too bad I only traveled alone. Aside from the large bed, the sofa can be converted to an extra bed. But the price I paid was worth it, even if I stayed alone. I'll definitely stay here again next time, with family/friends. 🥰

Pros: Attentive and efficient front desk, clean rooms and good buffet selections. LRT public transpo is about 10 min walk to hotel. Cons: Downside is that the double bed is too soft ( slight movement from partner can be felt so doesn't make for a fitful sleep), bathroom layout is a little weird with no racks to hold clothes in the shower ( sink is outside bathroom too). Can hear neighbors from the next room.

Very chic decor. Room was comfy and spotless, located right outside the main MRT/Rail Station which makes it an ideal base to explore the surroundings. Just remember to bring your own amenity bag~

I like breakfast it has a wide variety of choices.The rooms are small but comfortable.I just hope they still put a tooth brush and toothpaste for free. The staff are friendly and efficient. The location is perfect for going around and easy access to the train station and Uber. The Rent Car is also just beside the hotel. Near Mc Donald's, KFC and 7-11. Thanks.Airline Inn.

The hotel location is good. The room is clean, although a bit small, as there is not much space between the bed and the TV. Also, there is not much choices for a vegetarian for the breakfast. Nevertheless, the price performance worth the stay.

It is extremely close to the Xinxi Elementary School MRT station and the location is fantastic!!The hotel is relatively new and the facilities are all new and good.It doesn't provide complementary breakfast but it's easy to find a place to eat.

Room was quite big and clean. They did not by default provide toothbrush and toothpaste (which was fine for us as we brought our own), and we were told that if we could leave a 5-star review on Google review, they would provide it as a token. This was a bit strange as how would we know whether it's a 5-star experience before we stay / and if it's a 5-star experience after we stay, the token (toothbrush and toothpaste) would be useless for us already.

The room is big and clean. Hotel is near to feng jia night market.Service was excellent - had a minor issue with one of the appliances late at night and the staff quickly provided a replacement. Breakfast was basic - would eat it only if it came with the room and not if I had to top-up. A perfectly functional hotel suitable for a short stay in Tai Chung.

LIKED: 1. Budget friendly 2. Laundry room availability DISLIKED: 1. Size of the room 2. Smell of the room (smelled damp, probably from the carpeted floor) 3. No bidet in the bathroom 4. Shampoo and shower gel were in the form of small sachets, barely enough for 1 person to use 5. Electrical sockets were behind the beds, you'd need to move the beds to use them. Otherwise there's only 1 socket next to the table and another one in the bathroom next to the toilet 6. Breakfast selection was very limited and in a basement that is relatively dark. There's no hot water dispenser there so if you want to drink tea, you either have to prepare hot water in your room or from the dispenser on the first floor.

Room was slightly smaller, and the windows needed some cleaning. The hotel had a lot of room guests and patience for the lifts would be needed during peak periods. The hotel breakfast was excellent with a good spread of food, but due to the number of guests, one would have to choose a breakfast timing (7 am, 8 am or 9 am) to prevent overcrowding. Gree underground parking was available.

Everything is good at this place. They provide laundry and drying service. I really like it. They also send a cute gift on ***** New Year Holiday. I love it so much. I would recommend this place if you visit Taichung. If I have chance comeback Taichung I will still choose this hotel. Thank you for everything ＜3 ＜3 ＜3

Great location close to metro and few supermarkets. Staffs are nice and friendly. Spacious room with bouncy mattress and strong hot shower. No amenities provided and fair buffet breakfast, but justified by its good price

8 to 10 mins walk from the nearest metro station. Not really in the midst of the busy city area, but you get a feel of the true local lifestyle and pace of life. Service was excellent worth good breakfast, if only there is a swimming pool. Rainbow village is small, but worth a visit.
