The hotel is in the center of the Macau Peninsula, but while the Wynn Macau across the street is bustling, this side feels quite desolate.
What they call a 'sea view room' actually faces another part of the hotel, and you can only catch a glimpse of the sea from a very specific corner of the balcony.
The concierge and bell staff were very warm and helpful. Due to the hotel's location, it takes a long time to get a taxi, so they informed us about the shuttle bus and helped with our luggage. I really appreciate their service!
The front desk service, however, needs improvement. We were told check-in was from 2:30–3:00 PM, but when we arrived at 3:49 PM, we were told we still had to wait. Then, at another counter, we were able to check in immediately. Is this service model trying to shut the hotel down? It's incredibly dishonest. The staff in the breakfast restaurant were also cold and indifferent, let alone offering any actual service.
There was nothing in the room, yet they still charged a deposit. At least the deposit was refunded to my account within 24 hours, unlike what some reviews mentioned about it taking a long time.
Facilities: The hotel facilities are quite new, and the room size is decent. However, the mattress and pillows are too soft, making for an uncomfortable sleep. Many hotels in Macau require check-out before 11 AM the next day, which I'm not a fan of.
Cleanliness: The room was clean and tidy.
Environment: You can take the shuttle bus to Sands Macao. After getting off, it's just a short walk to Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau.
Service: The front desk staff and servers were very warm and generous!
On a business trip to Macau, I spent a lot of time choosing a hotel and I'm so glad I finally settled on the Grand Lapa Hotel due to its convenient transportation. The hotel boasts an impressive architectural style and an excellent location with plenty of amenities nearby. The abundant breakfast was particularly satisfying. The staff were very helpful and always willing to assist. One day, my room card wouldn't open the door, and it turned out the room lock's battery had died. First, a bellboy accompanied me upstairs to check, and then after about a ten-minute wait, two technicians arrived to fix it, which they did in just a few minutes – very efficient. The bellboy was also very quick and efficient in helping me call a taxi and with my luggage. I brought my own bedding as I was worried about mosquito bites in Macau, but the hotel's bedding was actually very clean. It has the advantages of an older hotel (excellent location) while mostly avoiding the drawbacks (outdated facilities). Although the style is from the 80s or 90s, the carpets and bathroom facilities don't show their age. Great value for money!
We checked in late, and the hotel staff were incredibly welcoming, even upgrading our room – what a pleasant surprise! The room was spacious and bright, the bedding was clean and comfortable, and the view from the window was charming. It's super close to popular attractions, just an 8-minute walk, and there are many great Macau-style tea restaurants nearby with delicious food at reasonable prices. Plus, there are plenty of buses right outside the hotel, making it really convenient to get anywhere. Perfect for traveling with kids! The staff didn't talk much, but their service was top-notch. Highly recommend!
I’m a local staying here for post-surgery recovery, extended my stay two times.
Reception is decent and helpful. The Japanese restaurant on ground floor is really good and so is the Chinese restaurant on the second floor. I’d say give it a try if you’re staying there, the price is average, totally not overpriced for being inside a hotel.
The room soundproof is terrible, you’re out of luck if other guests staying in rooms surrounding you talk super loud or have loud kids. You can also clearly hear conversations outside the hallway. You can also hear the water pipe noises whenever people staying upstairs/downstairs shower. Not the most serene environment.
Amenities are alright, the provided shower gel, shampoo and conditioner are a bit small so you’d constantly have to ask for refills for longer stays. The bath tub is bigger than usual ones so that’s a good thing but not a fan of the type of shower head they chose, and the tube is a bit short too but there’s an overhead if needed.
I wouldn’t say the location is convenient for tourists as there is nothing surrounding the hotel but they do provide scheduled shuttle buses to get round town and to some hotspots. The walk to the nearest light rail station is around 12-18min (depending on your pace) on foot.
Booked this place online based on a friend's recommendation, and honestly, it's great value for money. There are tons of good restaurants nearby, and it's really close to Grand Lisboa, MGM, and Wynn. We saw the Wynn's Tree of Prosperity, checked out the exhibition at MGM, and even enjoyed some free milk tea. We also tried the geoduck hotpot at Sun Cheong City. The only downside is the hotel's air conditioning – it's freezing! The whole place feels like a giant freezer. It was just too cold. I have no idea why they keep it so arctic.
The Grand Lisboa Hotel in Macau has long been renowned. As an established five-star hotel, my spouse and I experienced exceptional service from the moment we arrived. A staff member immediately approached us as we stepped onto the stairs, promptly taking our luggage and escorting us to the front desk. The five-star service truly lived up to its reputation. The luggage service extended all the way to our room, and the staff member departed with a smile and a bow – truly touching! Although the room wasn't exceptionally large, it was tastefully decorated and well-appointed with all the necessary amenities, striking a perfect balance. The hotel's breakfast offered a wide variety of options, catering to both Western and Chinese tastes, including freshly made wontons and made-to-order omelets. What truly stood out was the hotel's complimentary shuttle bus. Not only did it transport guests to entertainment venues and other major attractions, but even after checking out, it provided free transfers to the Border Gate (Guanzha) upon request. If I have the opportunity to visit Macau again, the Grand Lisboa Hotel would be my top choice.
Grand Lisboa Palace Macau is truly impressive. Although it's a bit far from the Taipa core area, the shuttle bus service is incredibly convenient, and hotel guests even get to skip the line! The ambiance is beyond words – the European palace style is super elegant, and the 'Verdant Paradise' garden is perfect for stunning photos. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated, with high-end, thoughtful amenities, including a fully smart bathroom and a complimentary mini-bar. I was able to check in early at 12 PM. Downstairs, there's a shopping mall and a casino. The staff provides meticulous and thoughtful service, and 'The Grand Buffet' is highly recommended! Overall, I'm very satisfied.
This hotel is incredibly convenient for traveling from Hong Kong to Macau. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming, always with a smile. The security guards were also very helpful, assisting with luggage and opening car doors, which made things so much easier for us. I had a wonderful stay this time – it’s my second visit, and I’ll definitely choose this hotel again if I have the chance. There’s a bus stop right outside the hotel, making it super easy to get around. Check-in and check-out were both incredibly quick, which was great when traveling with kids and on a tight schedule. The room was very clean, spacious, and bright, with all the amenities you could need. The hotel environment is also lovely, quiet, and spotless. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a wide variety of options, and it was easy to get to the restaurant from our room. Not only did we enjoy a comfortable stay, but the staff were also so enthusiastic, and the restaurant service staff were very polite. My child accidentally broke a spoon during a meal, and a kind waitress immediately replaced it, even warning us to be careful not to cut ourselves – I felt so bad! Another waiter promptly cleared empty plates during the meal. The attention to detail was exceptional, truly commendable! Thumbs up, it's absolutely great value for money!
The service was fantastic, and the hotel itself is incredibly comfortable and spacious. The location is absolutely unbeatable, right by Fisherman's Wharf and super close to the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal! Opening the window reveals a breathtaking night view of the Pearl River, with sparkling lights that are just stunning. It's incredibly convenient for sightseeing and shopping. The lobby, with its crystal chandeliers and intricately carved columns, is truly divine – it feels like stepping into an ancient European castle. Every corner shines with exquisite detail, and any photo you take looks like it's from a vintage palace photoshoot.

GGuest UserThe hotel shuttle is easy to find – just turn right after exiting the airport. Get off at the Studio City stop. To your left is The Celebrity Tower, and to your right is The Star Tower. I checked in at The Celebrity Tower around 4 PM and there was no queue. The staff were very proactive in helping with my luggage. The suite at The Celebrity Tower was incredibly spacious, with a huge bathroom area. The mini-bar was as well-stocked as ever, and I appreciated that the bedside chargers didn't require an adapter. On the ground floor, the Pop Mart store had a full selection of SKULLPANDA figures. Unlike last year, points can no longer be redeemed. Don Quijote is still there, so if you don't want to go to Japan, you can do some shopping at the supermarket. To catch the light rail, turn right from The Celebrity Tower, walk to the end, and go up to the second floor. It's 6 MOP for two stops to Pai Kok, where you'll find plenty of delicious food on Cunha Street.
Yyu RebeccaThe room was very spacious, clean, and tidy. I stayed in the Banyan Tree Tower on a high floor, and there were no strange odors. I booked a Cotai View room, and the service was excellent. Eating and shopping downstairs were incredibly convenient.
On check-in day, I arrived around 3 PM. They initially said the view room would take 1-2 hours, so I planned to store my luggage and go out. However, after a quick restroom break, when I returned to drop off my bags, the front desk told me a room was already available. Overall, I was very satisfied.
The second floor has the famous Lord Stow's Bakery (Andrew's Egg Tarts), and there was no queue. On the ground floor near the elevators, there's a Jade Restaurant, where the beef noodles were exceptionally delicious, and the staff were very welcoming. Checking out was a breeze; I just handed the card to the front desk staff in the lobby and left. Getting a taxi outside was also very easy.
It's super convenient to visit the Londoner and Parisian hotels for night views and photos – just a short walk away. I wasn't offered a complimentary suite upgrade; they said it would cost an extra 500 MOP per night, which I declined as the view room was perfectly fine.
Walking from the ground floor towards the food court area, you can catch the changing of the guards performance at The Londoner. Tim Ho Wan (添好运) Hong Kong-style dim sum is also nearby; it's very tasty but gets crowded, so you'll need to get a number and wait in line.
HHulideyichuhexunlianWe requested a smoking room, but there was hardly any lingering smell, which was great. We stayed on the 17th floor, and the breakfast included a fantastic lobster buffet – truly all-you-can-eat! Downstairs, you can go shopping, and it's quite close to Wynn Palace. To get to Senado Square, there's no shuttle, so you'll need to take a taxi or other transportation. We paid 80 MOP for a taxi there. On the way back, we took a shuttle to another hotel and then walked the rest of the way. Overall, the breakfast offers much better value for money than the local cha chaan tengs, so it's definitely worth trying.

YYaoyaoduyaodeyaoLocation: It's just one light rail stop from the airport (you can buy tickets at the window using WeChat Pay or Alipay). From the hotel, you can walk through City of Dreams to reach The Londoner, MGM, Wynn Palace, The Venetian, and other key attractions.
Ambiance: The room lighting is warm and inviting, it's clean, and the layout is well-designed. It features double sinks, a separate wet and dry area, and even bath salts are provided.
Service: From check-in to check-out, the service was consistently proactive, enthusiastic, polite, and efficient. A big thank you to the two ladies who checked me in (their names are in the picture) – they introduced all the room facilities and explained the most convenient routes for getting around nearby. The gentleman at check-out also proactively asked if I needed to store my luggage, where I was going, and which bus to take, which made me, as a first-time visitor, feel very much at ease.

YYidanThis hotel was absolutely perfect for my child and me while attending a concert at the Galaxy Arena! It's just a few minutes' walk directly to the venue, which made getting around incredibly convenient. The concierge service was warm and attentive, and the front desk staff, especially one lovely lady, spoke so softly and kindly, making the check-in process smooth and pleasant. After the concert, when I brought my child back to the room, we found it had already been meticulously tidied up – such a thoughtful touch! The hotel offers express check-out, saving us time when leaving. The beds were super comfortable for a good night's sleep, and there's a huge variety of food options downstairs. Plus, there's a direct passage to the LRT station, making our return to Hengqin Port in Zhuhai exceptionally easy.
HHing keungIt has been over 5 years not stay in this hotel. This time made me not much excited. Regards the room service, there are only 2 bottles of water provided and it's much behind others. the saunna room still keeps same and it's the only point I forcast. Unfortunately, there still no wet towel provided, no slipper provided, the good thing is not much people use the room. the view is nice and this is the selling point.
I might not stay again unless the room rate is attractively.
