Hotel 5-Star di Sicily, Italy

Overlooking the Ionian Sea, the Grand Hotel San Pietro is a beautiful hotel with landscaped gardens and excellent amenities. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful and the rooms are well appointed and very comfortable.  Located within a 10-15 minute walk of the shopping and sightseeing area of Taormina, makes this 5 Star hotel an excellent choice.  The staff, as mentioned, are very courteous and helpful - and it is quite easy to become friends with them. Infact, Christian and Loretta (who work in the bar area during the evenings) are 2 staff members that I highly commend - not only for their service but for the exceptional time we spent with them.  This hotel is highly recommended and I certainly look forward to returning in the not too distant future.

We just had the most wonderful stay at La Plage. We arrived and were seen immediately and offered a drink whilst we checked in. We were then given a tour of the hotel and some information on the local area. We were shown to our room which was a sea front bungalow with a hot tub. Just gorgeous! We had the most beautiful view of Isola Bella. The next morning we were awake before the birds for an excursion to Etna (for my birthday), before we left someone appeared at the door with a birthday cake and a candle. A really lovely touch. Upon our return the ladies who cleaned the rooms stopped by whilst I enjoyed a glass of wine in the hot tub to say hello and sang me happy birthday too! The service was impeccable from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff are AMAZING and so attentive. The food is delicious. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this hotel and the people who work there. Thank you everyone in La Plage for making our stay so perfect. We can’t wait to come back

A Wonderful Stay at Villa Sant’Andrea, A Belmond Hotel, Taormina Mare I had a truly wonderful stay at Villa Sant’Andrea. The hotel is incredibly beautiful and unique, with stunning views that made every moment special. My room was very comfortable, and I enjoyed a restful and peaceful sleep throughout my stay. I would like to sincerely thank all the staff who made my experience so memorable—from the team who checked me in to the bellman and doorman who kindly assisted me upon arrival and departure. Your warm hospitality and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. It is no surprise that this hotel is so famous. You have created such a beautiful memory for my vacation, one that I will always cherish. I truly look forward to returning in the future. Thank you to everyone for such an exceptional experience.

Struttura molto bella che peró comincia a risentire il peso degli anni. Necessita ormai di lavori di manutenzione e ammodernamento (passamano della spa in acciaio arrugginiti, alcune lampade in camera non funzionanti, doccia -enorme nella nostra stanza- con acqua solo bollente...). Rimane comunque un hotel validissimo, ottima ed abbondantissima colazione, bella la zona piscina, verde curatissimo e tanto altro. Ma non è sicuramente all' altezza di un 5*L: al nostro arrivo nessuno per il ritiro bagagli, pulizia della camera un po' sommaria, spazi intorno alla piscina disponibili per eventi esterni (un matrimonio ci ha impedito di riposare fino alle 3 del mattino fra musica, schiamazzi e successivo riordino). Un buon 4 stelle, tutto sommato. Ci torneremmo?

Lovely hotel with a really relaxed atmosphere. Our room was 2nd floor overlooking the pool. Very comfortable and lovely view but the bathroom is not 5 star. Strange arrangement with the shower and toilet. Notwithstanding that the bathroom amenities were a lovely Sicilian brand. Location is 25min walk into town, not for those who struggle with walking but we enjoyed it. The hotel never felt busy and there’s lots of different places to relax and enjoy the weather with great facilities. Staff are super friendly too.

The room is spacious enough. The room was cleaned very well. The breakfast was good. The following are the shortcomings: First, the curtains cannot be drawn at all. Every time, the technician has to move a large ladder to manually close the curtains. Second, the shower head on the top of the bathroom has too little water and the temperature is too low. I dare not wash my hair for fear of catching a cold. Third, and the most important one! Don't stay in room 106! Less than one meter outside the window is the eaves on one side, blocking half of the view, and the eaves are wrapped in iron sheets. When it rains, the raindrops make a huge sound and it is impossible to fall asleep! I stayed for three nights and it rained for three nights... So when you come to Palermo during the rainy season at the end of the year and the beginning of the year, don't stay in room 106. When we placed the order, we asked for a high floor and a quiet room in advance, but the front desk guy gave us this room when we checked in. As a front desk, the professional requirement should be to know all kinds of rooms well; if we are allowed to stay in this room under the condition of understanding and the occupancy rate is not high, the motive can't help but make people suspicious.

Fantastic stay at this unique and special hotel in the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento. With direct access to the site, our room had spectacular views of the Temple of Heracles from the beautiful terrace. They offer high-quality soaps and products. The very generous breakfast is served on the terrace for an additional fee or in a lovely, bright dining area. It's definitely worth staying here if you're visiting Agrigento, if only for the direct access to the temples before the tour groups arrive. They were also incredibly kind; I had an accident, and they helped us with logistics, even booking a restaurant in the city late at night so we wouldn't go without dinner on the day we arrived.

This time I booked a room with a terrace and a private pool. The scenery is 10 points good And it’s in the main street, so the location is very convenient. But I found a lot of insects entering the private swimming pool. The staff's attitude is very good and kind.

The breakfast and view was very nice, appreciated the Gym, but it closed too early for evening use. The site is quite large and feels a bit like a maze to navigate to the breakfast area. Service was very good, but parking is pay per night. You can park at back of the hotel for free on the road...Rooms seem a little outdated, at least the one I was in, but overall really good.

Beautiful hotel with excellent staff & lovely rooms. We did a great wine tasting which included their own olive oil which was so good. Only negative thing I could say is the beds were hard but can put up with that for a few nights but I think that must be a Sicily thing as most places we have stayed in here had hard mattresses. 🤣
