From the moment we arrived at Dusit Thani Residence Davao, we felt welcomed and well-taken care of. The lobby, though modest in size, exuded a calm charm and the check-in process was smooth. We were greeted warmly by staff who treated us with genuine hospitality — their attentiveness set the tone for our entire stay. Many previous guests also praised the staff’s politeness and readiness to help.  We stayed in a studio apartment, and it was nothing short of comfortable. The room came with a kitchenette, a coffee/tea maker, minibar, and free WiFi — extremely convenient whether you’re staying briefly or planning a longer stay.  The modern fittings and thoughtful layout made it easy to relax or be productive: there was enough space to move around, and everything was clean and well-kept. Cleanliness, indeed, stood out during our stay — a point frequently echoed by other guests.  One of the highlights was the leisure amenities. We took full advantage of the outdoor swimming pool — a serene little oasis perfect for a morning dip or evening unwind. The fitness centre, spa, and wellness offerings added to the sense of pampering. For those traveling with kids or family, there’s even a kids’ pool and a family-friendly vibe.  Breakfast and dining at the hotel also deserve special mention. The buffet breakfast was generous and satisfying — a great way to start a busy day in Davao. For lunch or dinner, the on-site restaurant served a mix of Thai, Asian, international, and European dishes, giving a variety that could cater to different tastes and dietary preferences.  The presence of a café and even a pastry/deli option made it easy to grab a light meal or snack without leaving the property.  Location is another strong suit for Dusit Thani Residence. It’s conveniently located near the airport, which is a big plus if you have early flights or late arrivals.  At the same time, it’s still close enough to city amenities, shopping, and other attractions — offering both convenience and comfort. Many guests appreciated this balance of accessibility and tranquility.  That said, no stay is perfect, and a few aspects could be improved. Some guests mentioned that certain rooms felt a bit cramped or that balcony areas were under-utilized due to cleanliness concerns.  There were occasional gripes about maintenance — for example, shower drains draining slowly or small furniture quirks — and a few found the elevator access between towers a bit awkward, especially if coming from parking.  A minority even felt the place fell short of 5-star expectations in certain respects.  Still, for us, these were minor blemishes compared to the overall positive experience. What stood out was how the hotel blends comfort, convenience, and courteous service with enough extras to feel like more than just a “place to sleep.” The pool, spa, and kitchen-equipped rooms make it a strong choice for families, couples, business travellers — essentially anyone who values a balance of luxury and practicality. We had a really great experience at Pearl Farm Beach Resort. The service was excellent, and the transportation arrangement was smooth and well-organized. I definitely felt like I got what I paid for. The staff and crew were very accommodating, polite, and attentive throughout our stay. Whenever we needed something, they responded right away. I also appreciated how friendly everyone was, some of the crew even helped take our pictures, which made the experience more memorable. The food was also delicious, and we truly enjoyed it. I’m giving 4 stars for cleanliness because I noticed there was a bird’s nest in the Samal House we stayed in, and there were times when bird droppings were present in the area. I hope this can be improved for future guests. Overall, it was still a wonderful and relaxing stay, and kudos to the whole team for their hospitality and excellent customer service.
