Very nice place very near legoland will stay again if I'm in billund please visit this place the room is very very big

We recently stayed here on a summer trip to Denmark. The hotel is within easy walk to Legoland Park and The Lego House (although the signage in Billund pointing you to Lego House is a bit confusing and really send you to an off site parking lot). Staff were nice although seemed exhausted and overworked. Summer is busy here and the guests were mostly other families with young children from across all of Europe. Being in the on-site restaurnt for breakfast buffet was loud and the lobby/main area of the hotel was also really loud with kids hyped up running all over. We did not know that this property DID NOT have air conditioning. We were here during a heat wave and the room was like a sauna. The window could only open about an inch. It was stiffiling. The frequent noise of planes arriving/departing Billund Airport was also not great and with that and the heat really kept us up. It was not an enjoyable stay at all. We learned the newer Lego ”Castle Hotel” next door has air conditioning but they had no rooms open for us to switch to. If you need to do laundry you can go to the Lego ”Holiday Village” which is their campground and buy tokens for the wash/dry. The laundry room is behind the store but when I was there the store only had large boxes of laundry detergent in stock. Why wouldn't they stock a smaller size as no one is doing laundry for a month or more on vacation?! Our room was a kingdom room at Hotel Legoland and the theming was great althoug hthe room was a bit dark. I think overall the hotel is overpriced for what you get.

This was our first long holiday, since last years weekend away. It's central to all the places, we wanted to do in the city. Even though it was busy (3.30pm), the reception staff 100% on the ball. We were assigned room 219. So that everyone knows, all room have names etc from H. C. Andersen or others (I think🤔 ) on the doors. Going in the room was hot, and that's when my husband told me, there is no air conditioning. Now we've been to hotels in Germany, Austria etc, and all have had air con. So I was surprised that most of the hotels in Denmark doesn't 🤯. I told my husband, as the weather forecast stated that there will be a heatwave. We couldn't keep the window open when we were out, or at night. Fyi there was a fan in the room ( that really didn't help). So we went back out to the reception, to ask if we could change rooms. We was given a new key card (317), to look at a room on the 3rd floor. This was better, so we moved all our gear, and returned room (219) card. (Another fyi) when you leave the room, you take the key card out of the slot near the door, that cuts most of the power off. So we couldn't keep the fan on, but the window was open. 219 room's bathroom, was all new with auto sensors on the sink tap, but in room 317, it's was normal taps. And the bathroom was a bit dated. As I'm 5ft 4ins, it was really, and I mean rally hard to reach the taps at the far end of the bath tab. As the shower screen was not movable. I have to get my husband 6ft 3ins, to reach in (umm after the rain shower wet him. The switch over from shower to bath was kinda broken), to turn on the tap for the bath. I was surprised once again, that there were on mini fridge (luckily we brought our cooler box with us), or any toiletries, apart from the hand soap. If you mean any you either have to buy at the reception (did smell nice), or to the nearby shops to buy some. I do like a try/buy pillow catalogue, pity there wasn't one for the mattress. I'm sorry, but like the name of our room Princess and Pea. The mattress were rock hard, and both of us had back pains (that we both had to take pain killers during our stay). Car parking, is not the hotel one, but the city one. It's the cheapest and right next to the hotel, but my husband said it was strange that it wasn't hotel parking. As you have to be lucky to get a parking spot (and pray that there are no double parking, as one person parked over the line, so that no one can park next to them 😡). The rest of the parking lot in the city are costly. Oh and the buy one get a drink free offer, is not good. As the drinks are very expensive, more that a normal bar price...thank to the bar staff who made a not too strong drink, that my husband wanted me to try. Now for the good stuff. Like all the photos of the hotel, that's what you see...and wow! I couldn't stop taking photos lol. We booked for breakfast included, and we're glad we did. There were hot and cold to chose from. A beautiful new waterfront property which strives for the stars. Even the side rooms have a view. It was the high season and the hotel was fully booked, which may have attributed to minor hiccups in the service due to insufficient staffing. Although our room was a side room near back landside corner on the second floor we still had a reasonable river view. The 16th floor is an open viewing platform (Point of View) and provides a stunning 360 degree panoramic view of the area. A must visit. Go there after 7 p.m. when it only is open for the hotel guests. Entrance is free, get a key at the front desk. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of food, but strangely enough no orange juice. We didn't try the main restaurant, instead eating at the bar where the snacks were delicious and well presented. We didn't try the 17th story 1-starred Michelin restaurant. Rooms are tastefully appointed, with motor-controlled elevation beds. One USB port is provided on each side of the bed and at the desk. Motion activated bedside floor lighting makes nighttime visits to the bathroom easy. But the bathroom lacks this feature. A half width sliding door between the bathroom and bed gives a choice of privacy or through-the-room outside views. However, the sliding door does not provide adequate sound proofing of flatulence. We also used the large, beautiful spa with sauna, pools, steam room etc. There are also two large outdoor whirlpools with a great river view. You must book a 3-hour slot in advance at a cost of 295 DKK per person. The spa café also provides light snacks, with healthy as well as alcoholic drinks. The waterfront was also part of the third stage of Tour de France in 2022. It's a short walk along the waterfront to Sønderborg fortress, and in July you may see the royal yacht berthed there, since the queen regularly spends some time in the summer at Gråsten castle about 10 km west of Sønderborg. But do not expect over the top staffing and service with valet parking, bell hops to carry your baggage, a professional concierge desk and you might find at Four Seasons or Ritz Carlton. But it is a top-notch excellent hotel with a modern Danish minimalistic design, I would probably consider this the best hotel in Denmark outside Copenhagen.

Additionally, the hotel bar stands out, perfect for both refreshing cocktails and tantalizing appetizers. A genuine blend of luxury and culinary excellence.

도심에 가까워서 어디로든 도보로 이동 하기가 편해요. 주변에 식당가, 마트, 쇼핑몰도 있어서 생활이 엄청 편합니다. 호텔도 깨끗하고 소음도 없어요.

Amazing place, a nice balance between relaxing and action packed. So much to do on site and all the staff were so friendly. Throughly enjoyed by adults & teens. Will definitely return, but definitely with our own pillows, it was like laying your head on a pile of lumpy socks 🫣

Odense is a charming town with a fairy-tale feel, and this hotel is like that. Remember, you are in the capital of fairy tales and you cannot stay in a modern hotel. Milligton Plaza Hotel is as charming as Odense. An old, mystical house, an interesting lobby, a shabby antique elevator and beautiful rooms. The equipment in the rooms is a bit modest, but so what. The rooms are comfortable, clean and homey. This is a hotel with a patina, a hotel that should be protected as a monument. It rarely happened to me that I was happy to return to the hotel in the afternoon for a tea party. Here it happened every day. Fruit, coffee and juices are also available all day. The breakfasts are great, otherwise nothing special, but nothing is missing either. Everything is available, fresh warm bread is excellent. The next good thing is the staff, who are extremely friendly and not in a professional way, but sincerely and directly. The best point is the location. 5 minutes to the station, two minutes to the tram. And yes, 5 minutes to the city's not-to-be-missed open kitchen Storm Packhus. Great food for a moderate price. I spent a nice week in Odense among good people. The key to this was also a nice experience with this charming hotel. Maybe we'll see each other again.

Amalie B&B First impressions positive! Excellent host who responds when contacted, requested room change on ground floor, and had the perfect access, could park the car right outside the door! Outstanding The rooms were spacious, classic decor & set up, worked really well for us! Did look well used though but fine Bedroom had 4 beds, 2 singles & a bunk bed good for kids! Beds are a tad small but ok! Bed Side lamp, broken/not working, despite a reminder, not fixed! Living area spacious and generally clean NOTE: no broom or mop available, can’t clean the floor! Kitchen area, 2 ceran tops and a multipurpose micro wave/convection unit, useable but not for baking, (no instructions provided) No rubbish bags provided! (Only 3 for 5 days? ) House cleaning materials not provided! Example detergents (only dishwasher liquid available, 2 old rags, and 2 used scotchbright, pot scrubs) The chinaware well used but ok, glasses 2 sets 1 wine & 1 plastic! Cutlery incomplete, no soup spoons, but for 2 persons ok! Missing some basics like small cutting/carving knife’s! Else useable if no major cooking involved! Fridge worked fine, freezer needs to be de-iced! Pots & pans need some deep cleaning, no dishwasher! Bathroom good size, shower, no bath tub, but ok, only 2 medium & bath towels, Shampoo & Hand wash provided NO SOAP / BODY-WASH, bring your own! But good size and bright! Iron & Ironing board provided on request! Overall good stay, price/value is fine! Would come back!

This was the second time we visited Knudsens Gaard and it was as good as the first time. The receptionists are very nice, helpful and service minded, the rooms are spacious, clean, are beautifully decorated and the beds are just excellent. The hotel is situated just of one of the largest roads in Odense, but they managed to keep the rooms quiet, you are not disturbed by road noise at all! The restaurant servers excellent food both for breakfast and dinner. All in all one of my best hotel experiences

Perfect hotel with a pool ( warm, best for the small kids) good location to Legoland only 30m , easy to drive on the main raod daily, very good breakfast and rooms are clean. The stuff are smiling and helpful! I definitely stay here in this hotel next time as well

Situated on the brink of the Castle Lake, the apartments are cozy and nice, and the space is being put to good use. The service is kind and efficient, and the apartment was clean and tidy upon our arrival. We were only there for one night, but almost wished we could stay for another. It is a short walk to the town centre, where we had an excellent dinner. Be sure to read the recommendations from the hotel about discount offers on meals in nearby restaurants. Close parking was cheap and available.
